00:00This Friday morning, thousands gather in Havana in defense of the revolutionary process and
00:05against U.S. latest actions against historic leader Raul Castro Cruz.
00:09Our correspondent Melinda Los Santos with the story.
00:12Cuba's young generations were the first to call people out to the streets following the
00:17latest U.S. aggression against the island.
00:19The indictment of revolutionary leader Raul Castro, which for many is nothing but a provocation
00:25and threat of possible military aggression.
00:28Because we are the next generation of this revolution.
00:31And the first thing we need to understand is that we, as its main successors, are the ones
00:35who have to stand firm on the front lines.
00:39Because they do nothing but impose these measures, these sanctions, with the goal of bringing
00:45us to our knees.
00:46And we have to defend the country, we have to defend the homeland.
00:49Why?
00:49Because this was built by everyone, for the good of everyone, with one single objective,
00:53the well-being of the people.
00:55As the U.S. moves to target the revolutionary leadership, much as it previously did with
01:00now-kidnapped Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, for Cubans gathered here, their defense
01:05is a matter of loyalty and sovereignty.
01:09Loyalty to everyone who built this history.
01:12They deserve it all from me.
01:14And I will always be here.
01:16For months now, U.S. authorities have not ceased to state that Cuba is next.
01:22Here under the Caribbean sun, the message is clear.
01:25Any attack will be met with fierce resistance.
01:30Because what's here and here cannot be destroyed with a missile or a bomb.
01:35That's impossible.
01:41If they enter my Cuba, they won't be welcomed with flowers and they won't find a people lying
01:47down in surrender.
01:49Our dignity, that goes back to the times of Atue, still represents us.
