00:01Four in five employees have experienced abuse or violence at work in the past year, according to new TUC research.
00:08A survey of 5,000 employees found incidents ranging from physical assaults and threats to sexual harassment in workplaces,

00:20More than half of those affected said it happens weekly or more often.
00:24The TUC says violence is too often treated as part of the job and wants more enforcement action from inspectors

00:32Employers and safety experts say risk assessments, training and reporting systems are essential,
00:38while the government says abuse at work is unacceptable and not to be tolerated.
