02:50And here is Creo Insecticon in insect mode, and he's pretty nice.
02:56Sadly, the one thing I have a complaint with this mode is you can't really hide the head or the
03:02helmet anywhere,
03:02so it's going to be laid off to the side.
03:04But, in other words, he's a very good-looking insect.
03:08There's his little head right there, which doesn't really look like an insect head,
03:11but you know, this is Creo we're talking about.
03:13They can't perfect everything, and he's got his horn, which is very nice.
03:17But when you look at it from the side, it kind of does look like some stag beetle or rhinoceros
03:23beetle or something with a horn or something.
03:25And he's got these legs, and you can articulate right here at this joint.
03:30Let me show you, like that.
03:32We're just going to peg that back in there.
03:34And the legs can move a little.
03:36These are the arms and the legs, but you can pretend the legs are his, um, his adamant, like his,
03:42uh, backside or something.
03:44I don't know.
03:44He does look very cool.
03:46Um, he does actually stand very well.
03:48So, let's get on to, um, Canadian reviewers' part of the review.
03:53So, here's Creo Series 1 Insecticon in its alt mode, and it's supposed to represent the prime Insecticon.
04:01Does it do a good job?
04:04Yeah.
04:05I like the horn.
04:06I like the horn sticking up to the top of the head.
04:10I like the grill.
04:11The grill's nice.
04:12It's always nice.
04:13I guess the legs are kind of cool, but you kind of have to have him crouch down to be
04:19able to, you know, have him all there on the ground.
04:24He's got this piece in the back, which, uh, I wish they formed the wings, but that doesn't look good.
04:31What I kind of like to do sometimes is I like to have these arms flipped up and have him
04:37waving like he's trying to fly.
04:39I can fly, people!
04:41I can fly if I believe!
04:42And he does have head tilt.
04:44Oh?
04:46And he's got a belt with ammo.
04:49Okay.
04:51The enemy of the Insecticon, the fetus flytrap.
04:54Overall, this is not my favorite version of an Insecticon, but, you know, we also didn't get a Voyager, so,
05:03uh, I don't know why I pointed that out, but we got it!
05:07Let's go on to the robot mode.
05:26And here is Creo Insecticon in robot mode, and he looks pretty nice.
05:31I mean, he looks very nice with these, um, uh, little, uh, insect legs on his arm, and he's got
05:37this very nice chest detail with the wings and the Decepticon logo.
05:42And the face with the red visor and that grunt reminds me of one of the grunts from the movie,
05:47Disney movie Incredibles, which is very, very funny.
05:50However, here's a problem.
05:52I'm gonna pull the head off to show you this problem.
05:54Here's the piece right here that, you know, you get the chest piece.
05:58You gotta slide that over this very nice chest detail.
06:01This is one problem I had with the Creos for a while, until they, uh, manipulated the design.
06:06This is the overall stupidest thing on the Creos.
06:09This is just my opinion, but what's the point in doing a chest detail when you're going to take a
06:15chest plate and cover up that nice detail?
06:17All they had to do was make a back plate with the neck piece so you could attach it without
06:22this piece, because it's kind of pointless, but I think they, uh, in return realized later, uh, that was completely
06:28pointless.
06:29Uh, he does have a backpack.
06:30I used the, um, insect head and basically just slapped it on his back, and this is kind of the
06:35way I like to use it.
06:37Uh, articulation includes head is on a peg, but it can rotate, and head is getting misaligned.
06:45Let's fix that real quick.
06:47He's got ball-jointed arms, uh, he's got swivel in the hands, uh, he's got a waist and ball-jointed
06:54legs, and finally, if you're wondering what happened to that horn, you can actually take it and put it in
07:00his hand.
07:01If you want, you can pretty much store it on the back, but I like giving him a nice little
07:05dagger sort of sword thing, and if you want, you can take the insect legs and put it back on
07:10here, but instructions say to put it on the arm, and it does look pretty nice.
07:13I like how they do that.
07:15So, let's get on to our overall final thoughts, if, uh, this guy will stand for me.
07:22So, here's the Creo Insecticon in his robot mode, and as you can see, he's cool, but I don't like
07:29the legs on the side of the arms, because they feel like they're going to break.
07:33And it's kind of weird, because they're hard to plug in, and then you plug them in, and they're just
07:39loose on the arms, so I like to plug them on the back that kind of fills that out, and
07:44it actually looks good.
07:46As you can see, you got your basic Creo parts, you got a Megatron-like head, you got the chest
07:52plate with the belt, that's kind of cool, and pretty much the rest of the body is very simple.
07:58Though, when you take off that piece, you get some nice detailing, and you can plug on the head like
08:05that if you want, to have that.
08:07So, he has gray... things... panels...
08:15You can plug them onto his Creo block, which they include, and you can plug the extra parts to the
08:23side.
08:23Which, it's kind of ironic that the head parts are not entitled to the robot mode for the insect.
08:31But, the insect head is entitled to, of course, the insect mode, but the robot, uh, the robot mode...
08:38The robot mode head is not entitled to anything in the alt mode.
