03:17You know, it does have a couple of bits with the armor, which does look cool, I guess, maybe, perhaps,

04:58Another little comparison. Now as you can see, this ratchet has some more G1 colors,
05:03but that doesn't mean that this is not nostalgic.
05:06It actually is based on the Transmetal Dinobot from Beast Wars,
05:11so I kind of like that they're having kind of a nostalgic nod while putting something new to this figure.
05:17And I kind of do like that idea.
05:19I like the fact that he actually has the swords on the side, kind of.
05:23I do like, however, I forgot to mention this.
05:26He actually does have the little holes right in there,
05:29so you can plug on the swords to the alt mode, like knife, sword, alt mode, whatever you want to
05:36call it.
05:37I cut the you and I cut the you and I cut the you.
05:42But, the thing that really makes this, the RID ratchet more superior than this one,
05:48is the kibble. And I'm not just saying that because it's Beast Hunters.
05:52If you actually transform this ratchet compared to this ratchet,
05:56this one is a lot easier to transform, even though I kind of don't like either transformation,
06:01because some of the parts can get really difficult.
06:06But, this ratchet, the panel folds up to that,
06:10and that gives you a little bit more elbow room for the transformation.
06:15This one does not.
06:17In fact, that snaps off a lot of the times.
06:22In fact, the first times I transformed this figure, that actually popped off.
06:26I was actually very surprised that while I was filming it, nothing really popped off.
06:31So, that's kind of cool, I guess, but still kind of unfortunate.
06:36Although, I'm not sure how I was able to make that bend in all the other times it snaps.
06:42But, whatever. It's still, it's still a problem with this one.
06:47But, this one is definitely much cleaner.

09:26I think he is kind of a cool figure, but nothing you really need.
09:29So let's go to my overall review.
09:35So overall, do I have to recommend Transformers Prime, Beast Hunters, Ratchet.
09:40If you like the Dinobot theme, and if you like the character Ratchet, then fine.
09:44Other than that, you're not really getting anything much from him.
09:47I definitely prefer the RID version a lot better.
09:51But if we want to compare those two, it's an okay figure at best.
09:57Anyways, that is pretty much it.
09:59I mean, it does have the same molding, but because of the armor, it does have a problem with the
10:05transformation.
10:07I'm just going to say, it's a meh figure if you want to go ahead and get it.
10:11For kids, I think they can see some play value out of this.
10:15But because of the snapping panels, eh.
10:20I mean, they could get a little frustrated.
10:22As a collector, I don't know really, because it could go either way.
