16:51To give you an idea of what Sean is up against, Giant weighs 130 kilos, so Sean absolutely must dig
17:01in and make the most of the tilt going in his favor, if and when it comes.
17:07Really good resistance being shown by Sean so far, in the heat he struggled to move Hannah when this happened,
17:15how's he going to do against Giant, he's doing very well indeed, he's got Giant budging backwards, look at the
17:21effort that Sean's putting in, look at the effort that Giant's putting in, can Sean get the job finished, Giant
17:29digs in and now the tables will turn with the tilt the other way.
17:35There is now a combined 350 kilos pressing against Sean, he never stood a chance.
17:49A repeat of Sean's heat against Hammer, he was doing superbly, all the way from kick off, through to the

28:54He finds it dead funny, but there's nothing fun about having to face this gladiator.

33:46Well, Helena failed to score last time she played Duel, but it is only Comet's second time on the Duel

33:54Not that she looks rusty.
33:55She's setting about the contender with real spirit here.

34:03She nearly fell of her own accord.
34:06It's a good recovery from Helena.
34:08She nearly went again.

34:29That duel was the best thing since sliced bread.

34:35A little bit bashed around, but I quite enjoyed it, actually.
34:38At one point I was doing some sort of 360 backflip, somersault twist and still stayed on.
34:43Well, in actual fact, you were facing that way, entirely the wrong way, and stayed up.
34:46It was brilliant.

34:55Next up on the dual podium for the female contenders, it's Millie.
35:03And she is up against Dynamite.

35:38So it's undefeated Dynamite on duel, taking on mighty Millie, who nearly toppled.
35:44Which is back upright to try and land a few tame sort of jabs at Dynamite that were easily resisted.

35:52Dynamite's not making any real progress.
35:55Millie looks to have a firm, stable platform.
35:57Oh, rocked back a little there, though.
35:59Dynamite's having to push.
36:01Oh, Dynamite went forward, but she didn't put her hands down on the platform.
36:05That's okay.
36:05And it's more than okay for Millie, because time is up, and she, too, has got herself five points.

36:15Well, nothing Dynamite threw at her seemed to rock hotshot Millie at all.

39:41But it wasn't a routine clobbering.
39:47He was taking plenty of hits, but Giant stood tall,
39:51which meant the foreman became the fall guy.

39:57but you didn't half put out a great performance there.
39:59I did wobble him. I almost got him. Almost.

40:39on this formidable steel structure,
40:41suspended 30 feet above the arena floor.
40:44One slip up, one wrong move,
40:47and it's a devastating drop down to defeat.
40:50Can they conquer it,
40:51or will they be cast off the edge?
40:56First up for the female contenders,
40:58it's her first time on the edge.

41:05And she is dodging dynamite.

41:29This is a new experience for Helena.
41:32She didn't take on the edge in the heat.
41:34Now she's up there taking on dynamite,
41:36who's taken up a good position,
41:38but good dodging by Helena, too.

41:44A little bit of dancing up there from the contender.
41:46She's really finding her feet now,
41:48and now senses there's a gap.
41:50She goes for it.
41:51She gets it.
41:52She's on to four.
41:54And if our gladiator would forgive me,
41:56it's the contender putting in a dynamite performance.
42:00Dynamite herself hasn't really been able to get anywhere near.
42:03And she's been given the slip again.

42:46they were kind of just not working with my brain.
42:49But, yeah, I mean, I got a few extra points on the board.

42:55She's brave, strong, and falls off the edge.

43:47If anybody's made to be at home at a height,
43:50it's Millie.
43:51Completely ignoring Sabre's attempt
43:53to rattle and roll her from the edge.
43:56She's not looking at the gladiator at all.
43:59Just leaping around like a gazelle up there.
44:03I suppose that carries a warning in itself
44:05because Sabre cats are probably quite good
44:08at hunting gazelles.
44:09And Millie being made to think about a different strategy.
44:12Sabre is engaged now.
44:14Oh, but she missed her.
44:15And Millie does get through
44:17to get another two points on the board.
44:19On to six.
44:20And time still remains.
44:22She could get a maximum here, you know.
44:25Sabre tells her to go to the side
44:27and that's where she went.
44:28There's her first mistake.
44:30Down, down, down.
44:39Well, perhaps this was part of the Sabre plan all along.

44:51How nerve-wracking is it?
44:53I'm used to heights,
44:54but I'm not used to just falling off an edge.
44:56So that's the thing for me.
44:57It's the falling.
44:58But, yeah, I just clung on to her.

45:07I think it's fair to say
45:09that these two have been equally matched all evening,
45:11so the eliminator later on is going to be very interesting.

45:22for the very first time,
45:23it's Mo.
45:27And he's hoping to avoid Apollo.

45:49So Mo from Swansea facing Apollo from,
45:52well, the far edge of the universe.
45:54Oh, and Mo was nearly sent crashing over the edge there.
45:57It's a brilliant recovery from our contender.
46:00And now he gets himself set to go again.

46:05Mo treading carefully.
46:07You don't often see a construction foreman
46:09up there on the scaffold.
46:11At least he's got his hard hat on.
46:13Oh, and it's intensifying now.
46:15Apollo gets him.
46:16Oh, Apollo's lost him.
46:18And it's the Gladiator
46:19who goes through the gap and down into the net,
46:23which leaves Mo free to cross and cross and cross again.
46:29As long as he doesn't lose his footing,
46:31Mo has a free pass through to the maximum 10 points here.
46:36And that would mean that he opens up a really big lead
46:40and ramps up the pressure on Sean,
46:42who's awaiting his turn to go.
46:45Still, Mo makes absolutely sure.
46:47But he's there.
46:49He's home and dry.
46:50It's another Mo maximum.
46:53And even Mark gets a coach.
46:58Maximum points again for Mo.
47:00He's got every right to celebrate.
47:05That was fantastic.
47:07I mean, how do you feel about that, first off?

49:03I know he likes to pounce, so I was hoping that he pounced
49:06and I'd be able to step out of the way,
49:07but when there's huge gaps in between up there,
49:10it really is a tough one.

49:17Oh, right, yeah.

49:46And first up, to face all nine obstacles,
49:49it's the female contenders.
49:51Millie finished two points ahead of Helena,
49:53and with each point being worth half a second,
49:56it means Millie has a one-second head start.
50:00Replacing the semifinal,

50:08Millie, you will go on my first whistle.
50:11Helena, you will go on my second whistle.

50:18One second.
50:19It's not a lot, is it?
50:20But Millie's determined to make the most
50:22of that slender advantage,
50:23and she's started with all guns blazing here.
50:27She's struggled on the rope in the heat,
50:29but no bother at all tonight.
50:31She's up in a flash,
50:32and it's Helena who's having a few problems
50:35getting onto that podium.
50:37Millie's already halfway across the overhead ladders.
50:40No, make that all the way across.
50:42And she's got an even healthier lead now
50:45as she swings into action on the trapeze
50:48straight onto the cargo net.
50:51Oh, Helena's got some ground to make up.
50:53But she won't entertain any thoughts of giving up
50:56because we've seen so many eliminators
50:58where the tide has turned.
51:00It could come down to one mistake,
51:02and that is what Millie must guard against.
51:06This precious little sign of any mistake
51:08happening at the moment, though.

51:22of a little bit of fatigue.

51:30the final two obstacles,
51:32arguably the toughest two obstacles
51:34on the Eliminator course.
51:37There's a crash landing there for Helena.
51:39Ooze and ahs around the arena.
51:41A little bit of a wobble for Millie,
51:44but with a leap and a bound in her step,
51:46she gets to the end of the beam,
51:48turns, looks at Helena,
51:51takes stock,
51:52and thinks about a first-time run of the Travelator.
51:56Has she thought about it for too long?

51:59Helena is level with her now.
52:01Come on, Millie, you've got to go.

52:04Any mistake now,
52:05and it could be all over for her.
52:07But Millie gets to the top.
52:10It turns out she knew exactly what she was doing.

54:28One of the hardest parts for him
54:29will be staying focused on staring straight ahead.
54:33Forget where Sean is,
54:34just make sure of completing the course
54:37as quickly as possible.
54:38A long stride onto the cargo net from Mo.
54:42Look how close Sean is now.
54:44Well, in the heat,
54:45he left for the net and missed it,
54:46so there's an improvement.
54:48And he certainly narrowed that gap from the start.
54:51It's getting closer all the time.
54:53Oh, we've got a contest on now.
54:55In the heat,
54:56Sean didn't win his eliminator,
54:58but he did complete the course
55:00in a faster time than Mo managed.
55:02Maybe that's on his side.
55:04The advantage for now, though,

55:07as he slides back down to earth
55:10and gets set to tackle the beam.

55:14and not for the first time.
55:16The beam proves to be a contender's undoing.

55:23He's been very careful to make contact
55:25with the red zones on the beam.
55:27And now as he gathers himself,

55:31They're neck and neck.

55:37Could this be Sean's chance?
55:40He's quite deliberately taken the time
55:42to prepare himself
55:43for one shot of the travelator.
55:47And he's done it.
