03:01first supercross start here in monster energy ama supercross racing and it's exciting time but let's
03:09talk more about the race leader will take it away we're just watching jorge prado just learn throughout
03:16these rounds here in supercross as he learns kind of the craft in itself they did do some testing this
03:22week on the bike and i said you know he seemed very comfortable why so and they said well as

03:27getting faster and faster and that's cates is picking up and the confidence is is going in there
03:31we're just having to match the bike to where he is at but they're impressed team-wise just with how
03:37he's handling all of that we're seeing another heat win potentially here for him but they're just waiting
03:42for all to kind of piece together in that main event get back on the podium we saw him there

03:47beginning of the year and potentially even get that win that saluted him so far well james you talked about
03:53it at the top of the show what you needed to see from eli tomac and as i'm watching right

03:58he looks like a completely different rider thus far compared to what we saw the last three rounds
04:03no i agree but i also think just maybe that that mistake that kenny made yeah how that might change
04:08the whole dynamic of this race but maybe it's championship because what did you think if he gets
04:13around eli and he gets around these two guys then it's more of the same that's happened in the last
04:17couple weeks so see if the number three can get around his teammates there was a period where he
04:21admitted he didn't feel well around the birmingham event etc there definitely were changes made to the
04:27bike but he told us yesterday afternoon we've kind of gone back to square one back to the beginning of
04:34the year when it worked so well i'm feeling better myself went back home to colorado and this does look
04:41like the eli that we saw earlier in the year chasing his teammate down riding more aggressively
04:48yeah well he's he's way more proactive rather than reactive on the motorcycle as far as riding it
04:53wow prado jumps off the track and that opens up a huge opportunity for his teammate and eli tomac to
05:01the
05:01lead uh proactive he has to be reactive to that that was a good say by jorge not losing the
05:07uh losing
05:08uh they're both ends on that bike on that concrete but that pressure came from eli jt it did and
05:15really
05:16eli tomac has just looked like a different guy all day long and lee you mentioned he went back to
05:21basics went back to older settings well that also includes the scoop tire which he really has not run
05:27in 2026 it's the most aggressive rear tire option available and they went away from that to start the
05:33season with a lot of success but here he is back in nashville round 13 with that option and really
05:39so
05:39far it seems to have made a huge difference so what jt is talking about as far as the scoop
05:44tire goes
05:45it's the tread pattern on that rear tire it's a bit more open takes a bigger bite of the dirt
05:51rarely do you
05:52see riders ride it on this style of track very hard very slick the scoop tire is normally more effective
05:59on a sandier track where you need that bite and you you need less snobbies we asked him yesterday
06:07why are you doing it he said because i like it enough said doesn't matter to us of where in
06:14theory
06:14where it should work as long as he feels comfortable and it makes that throttle go the right way that's
06:19what you need to have on your motorcycle yeah and i will say eli's been really strong through the sand
06:24so
06:24you know being the whoops most likely he'll probably end up jumping through here it's probably going to
06:28benefit him and like you said he likes it that's all that matters and he likes being out front as
06:33well one to go for eli tomac and if he can seal the deal here for this heat win that'll
06:39be his first
06:40since daytona many rounds ago and this is it for all of the enormous fan base out there who have
06:49been
06:49perplexed and confused and they've been asking the question what's wrong with eli well here's your man he's back
07:03looks really good yeah shout out to my brother too as good as eli has been now he's been there

07:08after that mistake in the sand he's been able to kind of close that gap here and there but
07:13a couple corners left looks like et's gonna have this thing got it got a pretty aggressive haircut
07:19as well the no fade on the side so maybe that's emblematic of the way he feels eli tomac wins
