01:21So, without further ado, there's a reason why I'm reviewing this, but I'm not going to tell you just yet.

01:29This is Beast Hunters Optimus Prime.
01:32Let's take a closer look at it.
01:34But first, to make this review absolutely perfect, we have to find Yoder.
01:41So hold on to your hats, ladies and gentlemen. We're going to suburbia.

02:15So here's Beast Hunters Optimus Prime in his alt mode, and I'd just like to make a quick mention
02:20of the Victoria's Ultimate Hobby and Toy Fair,
02:23because that's where I got it from.

02:36Now, as you can see, Optimus Prime transforms into this type of mask.

02:42Mask-type vehicle.
02:44It's a step up from the Optimus Prime from the Transformers Prime show
02:49of Season 1 and Season 2.
02:50And he's supercharged, beefed-up, Cybertronian garbage truck.
02:59Now, I will say, I like the original Optimus Prime a little bit more than this,
03:03but this isn't really that bad of a looker.
03:07I mean, I do like the weapons on the side.
03:09It's just on the top.
03:11Like, you can have weapons storage on the bottom.
03:16And have it between his legs.
03:18Why don't I have the sword between his legs?

03:26At least on the top, it kind of looks like a gunning station-type thing with the handle,
03:33but...
03:33Ah, it looks god-awful on the top,
03:35so I like to leave that to the side,
03:37which you are probably wondering why I chose to review this for May the 4th.

03:47Anyways, it does have the two guns on the side,
03:50which you can open up the little pincher claw things of unnecessary-ness, whatever,
03:56and they do fire.
03:57Of course, sometimes it's difficult,
04:00because these side pincher things do cause friction,
04:04and also my finger was in the way.
04:06With the weapons off, it actually does look pretty good,
04:10except for it's got the annoying head on the top.
04:13You can see the shoulders as clear as day,
04:15but that's not really too annoying,
04:18and I can stand with that.
04:21You know, it doesn't really bother me all too much.
04:24It's the fists in the back that really piss me off.
04:27And the feet don't really piss me off at all, actually.
04:31I kind of like what they're doing with this,
04:33with the kind of pattern on the top there.
04:36It actually looks quite decent.
04:38Now, when transforming this,
04:40you might want to have these up,
04:43and, you know, have the legs transformed last,
04:45and you want to really push on the top,
04:50but you want to be careful,
04:51because the fists, or the arms,
04:53the lower arms, are actually hollow,
04:56and I feel like I'm going to push that in,
04:59and it's going to cave in and break the plastic.
05:02So, you just want to push onto those tabs,
05:05connect the legs,
05:06and then they kind of clip onto place,
05:10and, yeah, I'm not doing this too well,
05:13but whatever.
05:14And then you rotate these and clip them into place,
05:17and then you would get your full alt mode.
05:20However, I'm not doing such a good job right now.
05:24Whatever.
05:24Alt mode!
05:25So, that's enough with the alt mode.
05:27Let's go on to robot mode.
05:53So, when's the last time we've ever been in a video?

06:00It's not that you suck, even though it is.
06:06Optimus SMASH!
06:09So, here's Optimus Prime in his robot mode,
06:12and as you can see,
06:13he's not too terribly bad for a looker.
06:16I mean, there are quite a bit of flaws on this figure
06:20that I feel like they could do way better with.
06:25But, honestly, it's not that bad.
06:27Let's talk about a few of the flaws with this figure.
06:30I just, I don't feel it's accurate enough
06:34for the Transformers Prime show.
06:36And I do get that it is a toy,
06:38but with the kind of simple transformation
06:40to where, you know, the arms are just there,
06:43and the legs are just there,
06:45I feel like something could have been done,
06:47and it was kind of bothering me for a while,
06:49until I realized what it was.
06:52This figure has quite a lack of paint.
06:55Now, with Transformers Prime,
06:57they've got a lot of details and whatnot's going around,
07:00and that looks good.
07:01But this figure,
07:03because a lot of these parts,
07:05they just painted one color and was done with it,
07:07it just feels kind of simple,
07:10and all the colors kind of blend the molding all together,
07:13and it just doesn't work.
07:14Especially on the legs,
07:16I feel like at least have some gunmetal dark gray kneecaps.
07:21That's what he had on the show.
07:22Maybe a little splash of red would have been nice.
07:25Maybe some details right in here,
07:27or is that too much to ask for?
07:29Maybe some nice green to match the windows,
07:33or blue, or black right in here.
07:35That would have been good.
07:37But,
07:38they didn't,
07:39and I don't like it.
07:41I don't mind the green.
07:43The windows for the Takara one,
07:46the blue version,
07:47isn't really accurate either,
07:48because the windows on the show,
07:51I believe,
07:51are black,
07:52so none of that's accurate.
07:54But then again,
07:56that green's just
07:57way too out there.
08:00And the head.
08:01It looks like he was trying to do
08:03the Megatron,
08:04Hamster-Cheek,
08:05War for Cybertron type thing,
08:06and it just fails.
08:08I think they were originally going to put a face mask on this guy,
08:12and decide to delete the face mask,
08:15but they didn't really delete it all,
08:17because it looks like,
08:18if you look at the face,
08:20it looks like they,
08:22hold on,
08:22it looks like they just,
08:25they put some of the face mask on the sides there,
08:28and forgot to leave that out,
08:30and it just doesn't work for me.
08:33Now,
08:33even though this is a Beast Hunters figure,
08:36this is the version of Optimus Prime that was on the show,
08:39however,
08:40they still put on some Beast Hunters armor.
08:43These spikes,
08:44never on the robot mode,
08:46in fact,
08:46they're actually panels,
08:47and,
08:48and, you know,
08:49they go this way,
08:50not,
08:51so,
08:53yeah,
08:54there are little touches of Beast Hunters armor on a Beast Hunters figure,
08:58that,
08:59they didn't really have to change,
09:01but,
09:02I like the jet pack.
09:04Yes,
09:05it's kind of like the butterfly wings thing,
09:07but,
09:08you can fold it down,
09:09and he looks like a very nice clean figure,
09:12or,
09:12you can open that up,
09:14and it looks great.
09:15It doesn't really tab in too well on the back here,
09:18but,
09:18you don't really need it to,
09:20so,
09:21I guess that's fine,
09:23and,
09:23the piece right here,
09:25actually clicks into place,
09:27and then you can have Optimus Prime's head,
09:30looking up,
09:31so when you're flying around,
09:32you can have that.
09:33However,
09:34I do not like that piece,
09:35because it feels like it's going to break eventually.
09:38He does have a couple of weapons.
09:39He's got these two guns,
09:41which are awesome.
09:43I mean,
09:43they open up,
09:44they do fire,
09:44we already talked about that,
09:46and then he's got,
09:48his,
09:49lightsaber.
09:50That's why I reviewed this for May the 4th.

10:02because the green just glows,

10:04to a lot of people,
10:05that might sound annoying,

10:10It's also kind of disappointing,

10:13this gun mill actually looks cool,
10:16why is it not kneecaps?
10:18He actually,
10:18I watched the show,
10:20he actually has gun mill colored,
10:23kneecaps,
10:23that are colored,
10:24like this.
10:27That sword is pretty beautiful,
10:29I mean,
10:29it can nearly,
10:31make a grown man cry.
10:32And,
10:33the things that'll make a grown ass man cry,
10:36tears of joy,
10:37like a pussy award,
10:38goes to,
10:39the double rainbow in my backyard.
10:45The guns are kind of okay,
10:47but they're kind of cheesy at the same time.
10:50The sword,
10:51is really cool.
10:53These shoulders can move around,
10:54so you can have it whatever way you want,
10:57and I just leave them down,
10:58just a little bit,
10:59not much,
11:00but just a little bit,
11:01to give them that bulky edge,
11:03while not having like,
11:06these huge shoulders sticking out.
11:09He's got some pretty good detail right up here,
11:11so that looks nice.
11:13The backpack looks alright,
11:14except these are on very thin plastic,
11:17that just wiggles around,
11:19and I feel like that's gonna warp at some point.
11:21He's got these two random pieces on the back of his foot,
11:24but you can fold those in.
11:26And he's got tires on his inside.
11:29Okay.
11:30And he's not that bad,
11:32however,
11:33I just think he needs more paint,
11:35not grain paint,
11:37like they're trying to do with a lot of the Beast Hunters Optimus Prime,
11:41and just doesn't work,
11:43and a new head.
11:44But he's not that bad,
11:46so let's go to my overall review.
11:51So overall,
11:52do I highly recommend Transformers Prime,
11:54Beast Hunters Optimus Prime?
11:56You know what?
11:57It's good,
11:58but can't cure my diabetes.
