00:05Listen, I know there are some people, we've had it, but I think somebody said this last week when we

00:11About, alright, hey man, y'all want to be scared about something.
00:15Listen, let me tell you this right now.
00:17It would behoove the Houston Rockets to be matched up with the LA Lakers in the postseason.
00:22Absolutely.
00:23Of the top seven teams, maybe Phoenix if you add them in there.
00:27But, I think the Lakers, especially the Lakers that we are going to see in the postseason.
00:34Which means there's absolutely in the first round, I would say almost guaranteed, when you look at the four to
00:40six weeks of Austin Reeves, he's not going to be in.
00:45And he's been their second best player.
00:46And then Luka, who is clearly their best player and an MVP contender, well he won't be because he can't
00:53play enough games.
00:54But, he would have been an MVP contender if he could play.
00:57He's in Spain, or was in Spain somewhere trying to get his hamstring to heal up a little quicker.
01:02He's probably not going to play in the series.
01:05So, they're sitting there with LeBron James, DeAndre Ayton, and Marcus Smart as their top three guys.
01:13Or Luke Kennard as their top three guys.
01:14So, that is the matchup, and I don't give a rip.
01:18I don't believe they can beat the Nuggets in a seven-game series.
01:21And so, tonight, the Rockets host the Timberwolves.
01:25The Lakers host the Suns.
01:27And the Nuggets are playing OKC.
01:29Now, OKC may throw in the towel because they've solidified the number one seed, and they don't really have to
01:36play for nothing.
01:36But, if the Nuggets and the Lakers finish with the same record, and right now the Rockets and the Lakers
01:43are one game behind the Nuggets,
01:44the Lakers have the tiebreaker over the Rockets and the Nuggets.
01:48They would be the three seed, and it would position the Nuggets hosting the Rockets in the first round of
01:53the playoffs.
01:54And that, to me, is disaster for the Rockets.
01:57They just need to hold serve, hope the Nuggets keep winning, and the Lakers do whatever so they can play
02:03the Lakers in the first round.
02:04Because this Lakers team, I think the Rockets would sweep them, and maybe a gentleman's sweep.
02:12Maybe it's 4-1.
02:14But I think they would sweep the Lakers.
02:16If you didn't, whoever gets the Lakers in the first round, if they don't sweep them, that would be a
02:20shame.
02:21Whether it's Denver, Minnesota, whatever.
02:24I mean, it doesn't matter.
02:24Whoever catches the Lakers in the first round should sweep them.
02:27I mean, look, you've got all the reason in the world to get a series over fast, to get it
02:32over quick.
02:32You've got all the reason in the world against that team, the way that they are right now with injuries,
02:37to feel like you should get it over fast.
02:39And that can be a focal point of conversation, not just a, oh, let's take everybody serious.
02:44I mean, that is one where, if you don't sweep the Lakers, as they are right now, missing those two
02:49guys.
02:50And, I mean, hell, they were already shorthanded.
02:53You miss those two guys, come on, man.
02:55Whoever catches them.
02:56And I do hope.

03:23I do think, I mean, the more experience some of these young cats can get, especially if
03:28you're going to run with them, the more experience you can get, I think it would be a good experience
03:33for them to go and play the Thunder in the second round.
03:35Now, they may get their asses handed to them, but I think it'd be a good experience for
03:39Shingun and the men, Thompson, and the rest of those crew, the rest of that crew to play
03:43against them.
03:44But you need the Lakers.
03:45You need it to be the Lakers.
03:46Just come on and win Denver.
03:48You should be true.
03:49Denver, they've got the Thunder and the Spurs their last two games.
03:52Don't know if either one of those teams will play, but you got to hope for that.
