00:00That was the weirdest beef I've ever witnessed in my entire life.
00:03I've got my eye on Sean.
00:05I honestly thought she was going to absolutely annihilate him.
00:07That's a death roll.
00:08He denied her water.
00:11She's been through enough.
00:12She's been on Ozempic.
00:16Hello, I'm Sam Thompson and welcome to the I'm a Celebrity Unpacked podcast.
00:21That was an absolute rollercoaster of an episode.
00:24Tonight, I'm joined here in the studio by AJ Dudu and Max Belegde.
00:28Plus, Kemi, of course, brings you out of Dex's take on tonight's show.
00:32All the way from South Africa.
00:34There's a lot to chat about.
00:35So let's get straight into it.
00:36AJ and Max, hello.
00:38What an episode.
00:40Oh my God, it was so good.
00:41It was so good.
00:43I'm so glad you guys got to watch it with me because we were screaming at the TV at one
00:46point.
00:47I was jumping out of my seat.
00:49Do you know what?
00:49The camps coming together was really, really nice, wasn't it?
00:53Because obviously, Savannah Scrub, they were having a tough time.
00:56I did the Australian version of I'm a Celebrity Unpacked that is weirdly actually in the exact same camp that
01:01they were in in South Africa.
01:02You've literally been there and done that.
01:04It's so mental and watching it back, I am reminded of all those moments.
01:07Them beds, I could not believe when Gemma was complaining about it.
01:11I was like, fair do's love.
01:12That looks disgraceful.
01:15Just very hard wood.
01:16She's never felt wood like it.
01:18Hey-oh.
01:19But also, it didn't take long for tensions to rise either.
01:22I know.
01:23It was nice, but also the tension.
01:25And that's when it gets juicy.
01:26Well, as a viewer, we adore it, right?
01:28Of course.
01:29Gemma walks into the camp.
01:31Sunita literally just straight away, out of nowhere, gives her two pence about what was the show called again?
01:36I didn't see that.
01:37Chicago.
01:38Oh my God, it was Chicago.
01:39But that was the weirdest beef I've ever witnessed in my entire life.
01:42I was like, Sunita, I get it, but you don't own this shot.
01:45Like, are you the director?
01:46Why are you so mad about this?
01:47It was bizarre.
01:49Bizarre.
01:49And then obviously the trial was, I mean, look, we, AJ, you wanted to say, I'm a celebrity, get me
01:54out of it, when we were sitting there watching you in the studio.
01:56I was watching and I was like, absolutely not.
01:59In that tank full of water and crocodiles.
02:03No way.
02:03They did so well.
02:05But look, we're going to get into all of that in a bit.
02:07But right now, let's hear what Anton Deck thought about that episode.
02:11Well, hello, boys.
02:11Hi.
02:12Hi, Kenny.
02:13I feel like I was a teacher there.
02:14The moment we finally waited for happened.
02:17Camps.
02:17They're back together.
02:18Back together.
02:19Good, eh?
02:19Real mix of personalities.
02:21We've obviously seen them develop in main camps of Anna's Scrapp.
02:24How do you reckon they're going to gel?
02:25Because I'm seeing some tension.
02:27Yeah.
02:28Yeah.
02:28It wasn't a kind of foregone conclusion that they all went in there and became one big happy family.
02:32And I suppose that happens when the two camps have been split.
02:34And you kind of settle into your roles.
02:38And then you have to come together.
02:40And then the roles again.
02:41You're finding your place in the camp.
02:44So, you know, Sinita and David have kind of rubbed Gemma up the wrong way.
02:48They have.
02:49Yeah, I don't know.
02:50Sinita especially.
02:51Sinita rubbed Gemma up.
02:52That conversation about Chicago was just...
02:55What a weird thing to say.
02:56Yeah.
02:57I thought from Sinita.
02:58She thought that it was a joke that Gemma was cast.
03:01That's such a horrible thing to say.
03:03What a burn.
03:04It's such a subtle burn.
03:06Just have a little think about what you're saying before you say that.
03:09I actually felt really bad for Gemma.
03:11Yeah, I felt sorry for her.
03:11She's been on a bit of a rocky moment.
03:13It's a man of scrub.
03:14She comes in and then she's having beef with David.
03:17She holds a grudge to that girl, doesn't she, about her water situation.
03:20Which I love her for.
03:21Do not forget.
03:23And of course, you know, she's got a lot to prove this time round.
03:26To herself.
03:27Yeah.
03:27To the audience.
03:29You know, to everybody who doubted her.
03:31So, it's not been the plainest of sailings for us so far.
03:35And I think we all thought when she gets into the main camp, she'll really, you know, come into her
03:38own.
03:39But actually, it hasn't quite worked that way so far.
03:41She's standing up for herself a little bit more.
03:43But she's, I was really surprised she didn't say, I'm a celebrity, get me out of there.
03:46No, she didn't.
03:46In that horrific trial.
03:49Yeah.
03:49That was really tough.
03:50The way the water was getting so high.
03:53And they just, there was no strategy.
03:55What happens with that?
03:56Yeah, well, that's my thing.
03:57That's my thing.
03:57It's like, it's not that tough if you've got a good strategy.
04:00They weren't very good at it.
04:02They were just yelling at each other.
04:03Well, they were shouting at each other when the other one was under the water.
04:05Like, just wait until you're both up and just say, you know, hold on a second.
04:09I'm going to give you instructions.
04:10And then you go, can you hear me?
04:11Can you hear me?
04:12And one's down, one's up.
04:13They were pretty bad at the trial.
04:16It was funny though.
04:17Yeah, I think it's entertaining for you guys to watch.
04:19You kind of like it when they're a little bit bad.
04:20Bev's putting the keys in the wrong hole.
04:22Oh, come on.
04:23You're in the wrong hole, Bev.
04:26David wasn't happy.
04:27No.
04:27With the six stars.
04:28I'm surprised.
04:29It's David.
04:30Winners mentality.
04:31Yeah, but we're seeing him say a lot.
04:32He's not really doing a lot, don't you think?
04:34Yeah, it's a good point actually.
04:36So far he hasn't had the opportunity to do a trial or...
04:39Light a fire.
04:40Light a fire.
04:42That's true, that's true.
04:43It'll be interesting to see what happens when he has to finally come and, you know,
04:47do it.
04:48And do we get to see him do a trial?
04:50Can you at least tell us, do we get to see him do a trial at some point?
04:52Can't tell you.
04:54At some point.
04:56Maybe at some point.
04:57Maybe at some point.
04:58Sean had a really hard time, I thought, in the trial, but he's also having a hard time
05:04in the camp.
05:05He's been in Savannah Scrub.
05:06He's had a tough start, hasn't he, Sean?
05:07He's not eating.
05:08He's lost his sinita twice.
05:10I mean, do we feel for him?
05:12Last time in Australia, he entered camp with Matt Hancock.
05:17That's difficult.
05:18So...
05:18You think the only way is up from there?
05:21Unfortunately for him, it's got worse.
05:23He's taken on more trials than he's hold, already, than his whole time in Australia.
05:28It's been tough.
05:29Hopefully his time's got to go up, surely.
05:31But do you know what?
05:32We keep waiting for it.
05:33Do you know what?
05:34He's very entertaining to watch.
05:36He's so funny.
05:37It's almost better with Sean when he fails.
05:41It's funny.
05:43Tomorrow night.
05:44Tomorrow night.
05:45Beverly and Mo doing a skydive.
05:47Yes.
05:48So has the budget gone up this series?
05:49We've got a skydive mid-series.
05:51I know.
05:52It's legends, isn't it?
05:52It's tougher.
05:53It's stepping up.
05:55My prediction will be...
05:57Go on.
05:58Mo smashes it.
05:59He's an Olympic medalist.
06:01He's trained his whole entire life.
06:03Focused.
06:04He's focused.
06:04I think if anyone's going to have strategy, Mo's got strategy.
06:08Let's talk again tomorrow.
06:09All right.
06:10I'll be to that.
06:10Talk again tomorrow.
06:11Okay.
06:11Cheers, lads.
06:12All right.
06:12So tonight we saw the end of Savannah's scrub.
06:15And already tensions were high, especially between Gemma Collins and Sunita.
06:19Gemma's just on a trial.
06:21She's just won some food for people.
06:23She comes in.
06:24She doesn't know a lot of these people.
06:26Bang!
06:26Sunita's at her.
06:27Oh, she was overwhelmed anyway, because obviously that was off the back of how she felt with David.
06:33And Sunita defends David.
06:35And then after defending him, she goes, oh, and another thing.
06:39You're a joke.
06:40It's like, wait, what?
06:42And she wasn't reading the room.
06:44Not at all.
06:44I think Sean, Scarlett, they were all quite obviously taken aback.
06:50And she just went for it.
06:51Where did that even come from?
06:52That was the strangest beef I've ever seen in my entire life.
06:56I was like, why do you care so much, Sunita?
06:58This is just bizarre.
06:59So you don't think it was fair, obviously, what Sunita said?
07:01I don't think it was fair at all.
07:03Gemma, the GC, or, well, that's her previous life, of course, because she's completely different now.
07:08I was like, she's obviously just here to give what Gemma gives.
07:11And I don't understand why you would bring up something that has nothing to do with this experience.
07:16It's got nothing to do with the experience.
07:17And frankly, it's got nothing to do with her.
07:19Yes.
07:20You know, at the end of the day, who cares what you've got to say about this at all?
07:26It was really weird.
07:27And the irony of the Sunita, who is known, like, the woman of schticks, the leaves, the macho, the Simon
07:35Cowell of it all.
07:35She came in with a visor, by the way.
07:36Like, what?
07:37And then you are like, oh, I think you're a bit of a joke.
07:40Like, come on, love.
07:42It's like, Gemma, you can tell it's really got to her.
07:45And then Sunita just adds in, out of nowhere.
07:47She goes, and then, like, it was at the time that you fell off the stage.
07:51And, like, that was a bit of a joke.
07:52And Gemma was like, what?
07:54And Gemma was like, I was actually really injured.
07:56You were actually injured.
07:58Do you know what?
07:59I think that would have made me feel a little bit sad.
08:03You know, I've just walked in.
08:04I don't know these people.
08:05And, like, I've been called a joke day one.
08:07I just think, just in life, in general, it's just not nice to feel overlooked.
08:12Yeah.
08:12You know, I'm sure that Gemma was probably looking forward to the role.
08:16We get to see her in a new light.
08:19Not everyone knows that she can sing.
08:20I didn't know that she could sing.
08:22I actually didn't know that.
08:22I actually did not.
08:23I did.
08:23She once messed up the lyrics to The Greatest Showman on some random show,
08:27and it was brilliant.
08:27So I did know that Gemma Collins could sing.
08:29I feel like we should probably do this in here.
08:31Who would we rather see in Chicago, Sunita or Gemma Collins?
08:34100% Gemma Collins, please.
08:38Please.
08:39Oh, my God.
08:39Gemma.
08:39Mama Morton.
08:40Mama Morton is Gemma Collins.
08:43Please.
08:44Please don't.
08:45Come on, Sunita.
08:46Calm down.
08:46She's going to run it back.
08:47And then, you know, Gemma will have the last laugh.
08:50I think she will.
08:51Do you know what?
08:51Like, while we're on Gemma, because she's such a big character,
08:54I think she's really enjoying herself this time around.
08:57She's really throwing herself into it.
08:59And obviously, with the end of Savannah Scrub and them coming up to main camp,
09:03it did give David Haye a chance to get his comeuppance.
09:06What do we think about Gemma Collins taking it to him?
09:09Good on her.
09:10She was denied water.
09:12She was denied water.
09:12She was not happy about that at all.
09:14But it's nice to see her, I think, in a different life.
09:18Because normally, I think what would have happened is Sunita would have said
09:21that sort of scathing comment about being a joke.
09:23I don't think Gemma would have let it go.
09:25No.
09:25I think she would have carried on with like a dog with a bone.
09:28But she's not let it go.
09:28Oh, she's talking about it over the box and pans.
09:32Over the washing up.
09:35She's not let it go.
09:36But she's certainly not rising to it in that creep scenario.
09:39Yeah.
09:39I mean, if we look at Gemma's history in reality TV shows,
09:42she is the first to quit.
09:44She's the first to kick off.
09:45And I think she's really come into this experience
09:47wanting to redefine herself in this environment.
09:51And I just think it's a real shame that Sun was trying to take her there,
09:54if you get what I mean.
09:55But look, she's a strong personality.
09:57She can handle herself.
09:58A really good way of seeing that was her against David Haye
10:01because no one's really said anything.
10:04Obviously, we had our Bev who said that she was going to shit him.
10:07I was like, come on, Bev.
10:09Let him have it.
10:10He deserves it.
10:10I want to give Bev a hug.
10:11Bev needs a big hug because she came in with so much spirit.
10:15And I honestly thought she was going to absolutely annihilate him.
10:17I think she bottled it last minute.
10:19Do you think?
10:20Yeah.
10:20I don't think she bottled it, but for good reason.
10:23I think she walked into camp.
10:25She saw that the morale was high.
10:27She was up for meeting everyone.
10:29And I think she just didn't want to bring it down.
10:32She thought, I'm going to tell you, but in a jokey way.
10:34Yeah, she said it in a jokey way.
10:35And I think also, like, you know, when you're meeting new people
10:38and you're like, oh, I don't want to sort of like throw the cat
10:40amongst the pitchers here.
10:41Like, I just want to get on with everybody.
10:43And so she kind of like, as you say, she had a little bit of a joke
10:45and that was her sort of done.
10:47But then you see Gemma go, no, David, I'm not happy with the water comment.
10:49And I can't wait to see how that works out between the two of them
10:53because they are such big personalities.
10:55And we saw actually in the tease, obviously,
10:58that that flares up a little bit between the two of them.
11:00I think Gemma was like, David's not being very accommodating.
11:03I don't think he likes me.
11:04How do you think that's going to go?
11:05I think it's wild because after being in the jungle myself,
11:08you know how important the morale of camp is.
11:11The experience is hard enough.
11:12So having little things like that,
11:14that as a viewer might just seem a bit ridiculous,
11:16it really wears away at your sense of self
11:19and you do kind of lose the plot a little bit.
11:21So I'm hoping some of what good happens.
11:23Yes, so do I.
11:26I mean, do you think Gemma's got sort of like the right to call him out?
11:28I think she does.
11:29100% he denied her water.
11:32She's been through enough.
11:33She's been on our Zen pitch.
11:35I believe that the quote was,
11:36I finally felt free.
11:37I was liberated.
11:38I did not need that bread.
11:40This woman has been through it all.
11:42Give us a glass of water, please, David Hay.
11:45Jesus.
11:46You're not in the ring now.
11:48Right.
11:48And also, I feel like everyone's accommodating his ways
11:54and his sensibilities because he's an athlete.
11:56But so is Mo Farah.
11:58And he ain't acting like that.
11:59That's a really good point, AJ, actually.
12:01Yeah, so Mo Farah, to be honest with you,
12:03I would say more decorated than David Hay.
12:05He's the complete polar opposite, isn't he?
12:07One of the most decorated athletes of all time.
12:09He's amazing.
12:10He's been through adversities,
12:11which we have, you know, seen in this episode.
12:14Oh my God, amazing.
12:15It's really touching.
12:16And, you know, he can still get on with people
12:19and work as part of a team.
12:21I think David's very much, he needs to lead.
12:24He needs to be in control.
12:26I don't think we've seen that.
12:27Do you know what was really nice to see
12:28some, like, personal stories in this episode as well?
12:32We've got Gemma Collins and Mo Farah's stories.
12:34Really beautiful.
12:35Gemma talking about, I think it was Manjaro,
12:37wasn't it, she was talking about?
12:38And, like, going deep into something like that,
12:40I think that takes quite a lot of bravery,
12:42to be honest with you.
12:42Listen, it's such a topic that everybody
12:44kind of likes to poke fun at nowadays,
12:46but she was open and saying,
12:47I did it and it felt like it changed my life.
12:50Yes, maybe her reasons for her life change
12:52were a little bit more, you know, humorous than others.
12:54You know, she didn't need the bread at the table,
12:56but nonetheless, it made her feel amazing.
12:58And I feel like it takes confidence
13:00to be honest about that topic.
13:02Absolutely.
13:02It made her feel amazing initially.
13:05Yes.
13:05And then she got the storms and the best and the that.
13:07But, you know, she's talking about her actual health
13:10and that is a vulnerable position to be putting herself in.
13:14That conversation is something
13:16that we haven't really seen people be very open about.
13:20And this series in particular,
13:22especially when it's coming from Gemma,
13:23who, you know, she's like,
13:24I'm not the GC anymore, I'm Gemma Collins.
13:26And this has come out.
13:26I think that kind of conversation
13:28in something that's probably going to be watched
13:29by quite a few people is so important.
13:32Oh my gosh, 100%.
13:33I think we all probably know people
13:35that are on different medications like that.
13:37And yes, there are some people
13:39that do it purely for vanity reasons,
13:41but I personally know people
13:42that it's massively changed their health.
13:44It's made their quality of life so much better.
13:47And of course, there are so many different risks
13:49and side effects involved.
13:51But honestly, I think these sort of conversations
13:53are important.
13:54You know, what I did enjoy about Gemma's
13:57opening up about her experience on it
13:59was that she showed two sides to it.
14:01She said initially it was really good
14:04and then it was not good.
14:06So it had negative side effects for her.
14:09And I think that's what everyone needs to be careful of.
14:11You know, it's a relatively new drug.
14:13Not everyone knows the side effects.
14:15And, you know, at the end of the day,
14:17like she said,
14:18what works for one person doesn't work for the other.
14:21So it's definitely a case by case situation.
14:24Look at us.
14:25Oh, I'm a select.
14:26Are we scientists?
14:27I know.
14:27I can't believe it.
14:28This is what's so great
14:29is we're actually getting to have these conversations.
14:31I think it's a massive testament to the series
14:33and how it's going so far.
14:35I'm loving the honesty.
14:36I'm loving the open dialogue
14:37between her and all of the campmates.
14:40You know, more father talking about
14:41his journey into the UK.
14:43So amazing.
14:44How touching.
14:45And, you know, Scarlett's reaction
14:47was obviously very moving.
14:50And it's just nice to see them all
14:52mucking in and getting on with it.
14:54Do you know what, AJ?
14:54You touched on it there.
14:55Let's go into Mo's story
14:56because that was...
14:57I actually have to confess,
14:58I didn't know...
14:59Me neither.
15:00...a lot of that story.
15:01I think he actually did a documentary.
15:03Yeah, I'd seen it.
15:04So I'd seen bits of his story,
15:07but do you know what?
15:07It's one of those things
15:09that it doesn't get any lighter
15:11the more you hear it.
15:12It's still pretty harrowing.
15:15You're separated from your family
15:17in unfathomable circumstances.
15:21And then you go on to be an amazing success.
15:24And an amazing human.
15:25Yeah.
15:26And I think that was so...
15:27A joyful man.
15:29A joyful man.
15:30With a sad pass.
15:31Who doesn't need the limelight
15:33but still manages to find his place
15:36in a show like that
15:37with such big personalities.
15:39I think that is so hard to find.
15:41That's powerful.
15:42It's very powerful.
15:43You know, he keeps quiet,
15:45but you know he's always got
15:46a really big smile on his face.
15:48As AJ said,
15:49he's been through so much adversity.
15:50How do we feel like his journey
15:52is going in that camp?
15:53He's obviously camp chef
15:54for quite a bit of it.
15:55And he's just a good time guy, right?
15:57I think you see it in the emotion
15:59of his other camp mates.
16:00That is his journey.
16:01He's touching their lives.
16:02He's going to really inspire
16:04so many people watching at home.
16:05And I think that he's going
16:07to leave this experience
16:08being even more of a legend
16:09than he already is
16:10if that's even possible
16:11at this point.
16:12We might not see him that much
16:14because that's what tends to happen.
16:16We love someone nice,
16:18enjoy us,
16:18but obviously we're always
16:20going to gravitate
16:21towards the drama.
16:23What's wrong with us?
16:24Of course we will.
16:25We're like lovely,
16:26inspirational.
16:27What's going on
16:28with Sunita and Gemma?
16:29Fight, fight, fight.
16:30Listen, I mean,
16:31speaking of inspiration,
16:33I'll say it again.
16:34Gemma Collins did not need
16:35that bread at the table.
16:36No, she did not.
16:37And arguably,
16:38I think that's up there
16:39with one of the most
16:40inspirational stories
16:41I've ever heard on television.
16:42It's hard because
16:42we've all actually been there.
16:44We've all been there.
16:45And it's actually really hard
16:46to deny the bread.
16:47I will always take the bread.
16:49Oh, actually,
16:50I'm still not there yet.
16:51I'm going to get a bit of a shot.
16:51You eat it,
16:52you get charged from it,
16:53you're like,
16:54the bread wasn't even free!
16:55Human!
16:57We've seen so far,
16:59the trials are bigger
17:00and tougher
17:00than they've ever been.
17:01That was a tough trial.
17:03That was wild.
17:04But this is,
17:04who wants to be
17:05the legend of the jungle?
17:07This is like all-stars,
17:09you know?
17:09They've all done
17:10this experience before.
17:11I know,
17:11but the water did come in there
17:13really fast.
17:14I was like,
17:15oh my bad,
17:16they've just put the tap
17:17on full black.
17:18But I love seeing that.
17:20You know when sometimes
17:20you hear like,
17:21it's going to be bigger
17:21and you're like,
17:22oh, here we go.
17:22Like,
17:23nothing's really going to change.
17:25You can visually see it happening.
17:27Like,
17:27I've never,
17:28generally there's a point
17:29where I can do that.
17:30And I feel like
17:31I throw myself into most things.
17:32They're literally gasping for air.
17:35Yeah.
17:35I think we should probably
17:36talk about Bev.
17:37Bev.
17:38Bev.
17:38Oh,
17:39she is my MVP,
17:40that woman.
17:41So she was in tank number three,
17:43right?
17:44And I think
17:44what Anna Deck was saying
17:45was two and three
17:46are the slightly easier tanks.
17:48One and four are slightly harder.
17:49Now,
17:49Adam Thomas,
17:50they call him Mr. Bush,
17:51so obviously,
17:52I think he was always
17:53going to take number four.
17:54Now,
17:55Beverly put herself in
17:56for number one.
17:57She was like,
17:57I'll do number one.
17:58And then Sean Walsh comes in
18:00and he's obviously just like,
18:01look,
18:02I think I should be doing this.
18:03He was very sort of like,
18:04no,
18:04I'm going to be doing that one.
18:05Really annoyed me.
18:06And I think she was like,
18:07okay,
18:08fine,
18:08whatever.
18:08He wasn't very good.
18:10No,
18:10she was overlooked.
18:12She's constantly been overlooked.
18:13Yeah,
18:13she was overlooked
18:14because she's an older woman
18:16and we're watching people's prejudices
18:18play out.
18:19And it's unfair.
18:20And I'm sure Sean meant
18:22no harm by it,
18:23but that's what happens.
18:24And it is
18:25so frustrating to watch,
18:27especially as
18:28she smashed it.
18:29She smashed it.
18:30She was overlooked by David Hay
18:31when he sent her out of camp.
18:33She was overlooked by David Hay
18:34when he said,
18:34well,
18:35what's she really going to bring
18:35if we did bring her back in?
18:37Then she was overlooked
18:38by Sean by going,
18:39oh no,
18:39actually you,
18:40like old lady,
18:41basically you go to number three.
18:43And I just think that's crazy
18:44because he was terrible
18:45in the trial.
18:46He wasn't communicating.
18:47He was screaming,
18:49dancing for the cameras.
18:50Meanwhile,
18:51Bev,
18:51absolute soldier,
18:52getting on with it,
18:53plunging to the bottom.
18:54Legend.
18:55Are we talking about soldier?
18:56In the clip we see
18:58from Samora's episode,
18:59she's strapped into a plane.
19:01She's 68 years old, AJ.
19:03She's about to dive out of a plane.
19:05She's a legend.
19:06But she's a woman
19:07who knows what graft looks like.
19:10Do you know what I mean?
19:11I've seen her workout DVDs,
19:13all right?
19:13She is solid.
19:14I have no idea why.
19:15Is that true?
19:16Absolutely.
19:16She's got a workout DVD.
19:18Of course she does.
19:18She's the queen of workout DVDs.
19:20Are you having me on?
19:21I didn't even know that.
19:21Put some respect on Bev's name,
19:23all right?
19:23And she's a northerner.
19:24She's full of northern grits.
19:25She's absolutely solid.
19:27So is this her chance then?
19:28She's going to dive out of a plane.
19:30She's going to prove everybody wrong,
19:31even though she doesn't need to
19:32because she keeps doing it
19:33every single time.
19:34Batting it out of the park.
19:35Is this her moment to shine?
19:37It better have be.
19:38It's either that
19:39or she's going to give David
19:40a left hook
19:41and then everyone
19:42will finally shut up.
19:43I don't know what it will take.
19:44I truly think to us,
19:46she is shining.
19:47It's to them in the camp.
19:49And by them,
19:50it's the men.
19:50I'm like,
19:51come on, boys.
19:51It's David.
19:52Let's open your eyes
19:53and see, you know,
19:55the queen in front.
19:56Not to go back to it,
19:57but I do think that
19:59if you are Sean Walsh
20:00and you're going to insist
20:01that you are in number one tank,
20:02and as you say, AJ,
20:02I don't think he's done it
20:03for any reason,
20:04sort of like malicious,
20:05but if you're going to do it,
20:06don't scream like you screamed.
20:08And like,
20:09don't be like,
20:09I can't get the keys.
20:11Like, no,
20:12if you put it,
20:13Adam Thomas didn't say a word.
20:14No.
20:14He literally just got on with it,
20:16did it,
20:16put all the stars in.
20:17He couldn't breathe
20:18for half of it.
20:19He, by the way,
20:20Adam Thomas.
20:20Had a crocodile in there.
20:21It was not just a crocodile.
20:22He had like a salt water,
20:25buffalo eating,
20:26Nile crocodile.
20:28Bro, that is,
20:29I've never seen,
20:30that's a death roll crocodile.
20:31That was mad.
20:32I'm actually like,
20:33when that happened,
20:34I literally jumped out my seat.
20:36I would have been out.
20:37I would not have been able
20:38to do that task.
20:39No way.
20:40That trial was so hard.
20:42Okay.
20:42Even Gemma.
20:44She did amazing.
20:46She's claustrophobic.
20:48And she smashed it.
20:50So how do we think
20:51they did as a team?
20:52I thought that
20:52the communication
20:53was really poor.
20:55Adam was amazing
20:55at doing the task,
20:56but he could have relayed
20:57at the beginning.
20:58These numbers are at the bottom,
20:59so let's do these ones first.
21:00But even then,
21:01I think he still did
21:02incredibly well.
21:03I just think that
21:04the constant overlooking
21:06of people like Bev
21:07is ultimately
21:08what led the team
21:09to not do as well.
21:10This,
21:10because everyone's fighting
21:11to be the legend.
21:11They've done it before.
21:12We're actually getting
21:13to see people do this
21:14at the best of their ability
21:15and really try their best.
21:17It's so fun
21:17to be able to actually sit here
21:19and really delve in.
21:20So like,
21:21Gemma Collins was great.
21:22She was amazing.
21:23At one point,
21:24she actually got a bit annoyed
21:24at Sean.
21:25She was like,
21:26Sean, shut up now.
21:27And her entire tone changed.
21:29But I agree.
21:30I think it was really,
21:31really interesting to watch.
21:32I can't wait to see
21:33if that Savannah Scrub team
21:36sticks together
21:37in the main camp.
21:38I hope so.
21:39Because they are bonded
21:40so well.
21:41I really enjoyed
21:42watching them as a group.
21:43Yeah.
21:43They had really good morale
21:45considering that
21:46they hadn't eaten.
21:47They'd not watched.
21:48They were on top form
21:49to be fair.
21:50And it is easy for me
21:51to be sat here
21:52being like,
21:52Sean should have done better.
21:53But at the end of the day,
21:54they were all in that tank.
21:55Well, how would you do,
21:56do you think?
21:57I'd have drowned.
21:59You'd still be in the tank.
22:01I'd be in the tank.
22:01Face down.
22:03Crocodiles ripped an arm off.
22:06Do you actually think
22:07you would struggle?
22:07I would not have done well.
22:08I was so nervous watching it.
22:10I was stressed.
22:11That was a stressful watch for me.
22:13So hats off to all of them.
22:14I did the Scout Swimming Gala
22:16when I was in year six.
22:18Scout Swimming?
22:18And it was terrible.
22:19Sam, halfway through,
22:20they had to get the stick out
22:21and drag me along.
22:21So I don't think
22:22that would have been my forte.
22:24Not at all.
22:25There's something in my head
22:26now I can imagine
22:27you just get
22:27like goggles down
22:29by your neck
22:31just trying to sort of
22:32deal with it.
22:32100% accurate.
22:33That's it.
22:34And they got quite a good meal
22:35as well.
22:36Crocodile.
22:36They did, yeah.
22:37Which is nice.
22:37On a slightly different note,
22:39we have heard Gemma Collins
22:40talk about her agent
22:41a few times.
22:42She's,
22:42call me agent.
22:44And it's like,
22:44how many times
22:45do you reckon
22:45are we going to hear
22:46of call my agent?
22:48I'd be sweating
22:49if I were her agent.
22:50Do you know,
22:50he's called Mark,
22:51by the way.
22:51Am I getting sacked?
22:52Mark's on standby.
22:55Mark's not going
22:56to sleep at night.
22:58Like that phone's on my own.
23:00Yeah.
23:00I think,
23:01I think her agent's
23:02chilling though.
23:03I think he's chilling.
23:04I think he must be thinking
23:05she's doing a great job.
23:06I do want to touch
23:07on Adam Thomas
23:07quickly as well.
23:08He had a little cry.
23:09He got quite emotional.
23:10AJ,
23:11you said something
23:11really interesting.
23:12You was like,
23:12you know,
23:12I don't know
23:13how he's going to be
23:13as this experience
23:14goes on.
23:15And you were like,
23:16I did think
23:16that he might struggle
23:17and maybe sort of like
23:18come head to head
23:19with people if...
23:20Maybe.
23:21I just think ultimately
23:22Adam is just such
23:24a happy-go-lucky guy.
23:26He's amazing
23:27and he's so vulnerable
23:28and very open
23:29with his emotions.
23:30With the ups
23:30and the downs.
23:31With the ups
23:32and the downs.
23:32And I just think
23:33that environment
23:34for anybody,
23:36you know,
23:37you guys have been
23:37through it.
23:38But I think
23:39particularly for someone
23:40who's so family-orientated,
23:42so like into his routine,
23:44I think it is hard.
23:46And, you know,
23:47he missed his son's birthday.
23:48He's having a little cry
23:49the night before.
23:50I think that environment
23:51must be stressful.
23:53Especially if you're tired.
23:55You're starving as well.
23:57And you're missing your...
23:58Why are you...
23:58Missing your kids' birthday.
24:00Shout out to Adam's son,
24:02Teddy.
24:02Happy birthday, buddy.
24:04You had the best day ever.
24:06But I think also
24:07when you're, you know,
24:09Mr. Positive,
24:10you know,
24:10Mr. Energetic,
24:11it must be quite hard for Adam.
24:14You know,
24:14he's starving.
24:15He hasn't slept either.
24:16And I think, you know,
24:17everyone's probably expecting him
24:18to always be like,
24:19you know,
24:20Mr. Morale around camp as well.
24:21It does take its toll, right?
24:23You know, I mean,
24:23Max, obviously you've done the show.
24:25I'm sure there are a few people
24:26like that in your show, right?
24:271,000%.
24:28Naturally,
24:29my personality
24:29is to kind of inject humour
24:31and fun into situations.
24:32And I remember around
24:33day four or five
24:35feeling really,
24:36really low
24:37and feeling like
24:38I don't know
24:39how to be vulnerable
24:40around these people
24:41because I've been
24:42the happy person.
24:43And then you just end up
24:45breaking down.
24:45And I think that's
24:46what's so beautiful
24:46about the show
24:47is that somebody like Adam
24:49who is a very masculine
24:51family man
24:52can also cry,
24:53can also show
24:54that vulnerability.
24:55I mean, look,
24:55we've seen David,
24:56we've seen Gemma
24:57and I think that's
24:58going to carry on.
24:58But anyone else,
25:00do we think there's
25:00going to be anyone else
25:01who's going to be
25:01going head to head?
25:02I'm hoping that Bev
25:03stands up for herself
25:04and someone takes it too far
25:06and she says,
25:07actually,
25:07look at my track record
25:09compared to yours, love.
25:10I'm hoping for that.
25:11I don't know.
25:12I've got my eye on Sean.
25:14Oh, there you go.
25:15I don't know why,
25:16but I feel like
25:17at some point,
25:19maybe there'll be
25:20some tension
25:20between him and...
25:22Why?
25:22What do you think
25:23it is about Sean
25:24that makes you say that?
25:25I don't know,
25:26but I think
25:26he's come from
25:27a new camp, right?
25:28And I feel like
25:28he was quite the alpha
25:29in that camp
25:30and now that
25:31the camps have joined,
25:32I feel like
25:33this is what the guys do.
25:34It's like a battle
25:36of the alpha.
25:37So maybe him and David.
25:38Oh, that would be
25:40absolutely brilliant.
25:42I would love to see that.
25:44I'm not encouraging it.
25:45Yeah, no, I am.
25:47Absolutely.
25:47I want to see action.
25:50I want to see head to heads.
25:52But I also think
25:53that maybe like,
25:53you know, Sean,
25:54he could maybe
25:55rub people up the wrong way
25:56sometimes as well.
25:57I feel like, you know,
25:58the more hungry they get,
26:00the more tired they get
26:01and David suffers no fools.
26:03So actually, do you know what?
26:04They could have a,
26:05as you say,
26:06like a bit of a run in.
26:07Adam as well.
26:09As he gets maybe
26:10a little bit more emotional,
26:11AJ, as you said earlier,
26:12David doesn't suffer weakness,
26:14right?
26:14What happens if Adam's crying
26:16and David sees that
26:17and he's like,
26:18what are you doing, mate?
26:18Oh, that would annoy me.
26:20That would annoy me.
26:21That would really annoy me.
26:21I really hope
26:22that doesn't happen.
26:23But it could do.
26:24In just that one episode,
26:26there was so much.
26:27We was on a roller coaster.
26:29The highs,
26:30the lows,
26:30the twists and the turns.
