00:00Well, firstly, a huge congratulations, arguably the biggest win of your career so far against
00:07the three-seed Ludmilla Samsonova, but I wanted to start with that tie-break. That's the definition
00:13of a rollercoaster. Match points saved, you were saving set points, the fans behind you
00:18every single point. How was it there for you on court?
00:22Yeah, as you said, it was a rollercoaster. Of course, a rollercoaster match. I mean,
00:27she's an amazing player. She has really, really fast game, amazing shots, not very easy to handle
00:34on the other side. I think I can still learn a lot from her. But yeah, as you said, the
00:40crowd was
00:40amazing today out there, cheering after every point, so I just enjoy it there.
00:45Would you say the crowd helped you in those moments? There were a few moments we had a big serve
00:50to take
00:50the lead against in the tie-break. Did you fill that momentum with you with the crowd?
00:54Yeah, I think they helped me a lot. I mean, it's never easy making these tight tie-breaks,
01:02set point down, then match point. You couldn't make it, so it wasn't easy. But for sure,
01:07the crowd out there today helped me a lot.
01:09And now you're through to a huge quarter-final at WHA 500 event. We don't know who you're going
01:14to play next, so I'm just going to ask you about your two potential opponents. The first is Tamara
01:18Korpach, the German. What do you know about her and what threat would she potentially pose?
01:24I've played against her last year one time. I think she raced a lot again this year. She's
01:31playing some amazing tennis. I think she likes more the clay court, so for sure, if she wins,
01:39I need to study her quite good and try to understand her game a little bit. And then, of course,
01:45making the tactic with my coaches and going out there tomorrow if she wins. And otherwise,
01:53there's Potapova. I don't know her that well, so for sure, I'm going to watch the match now and
01:59see a little bit her game style.
02:01And just a final one. Having that experience today with the crowd behind you, how excited
02:05are you to get back out there in front of your home fans and feel that support again?
02:09I mean, I can't wait to get out there again. Playing in front of them is like a dream every
02:15day, you know? So I think it's one of the most special feelings you can get. So I can't
02:22wait to go out there again.
