00:00Tell me about your first day on set of Euphoria.
00:02My first day on set of Euphoria, I had auditioned a few months prior,
00:06and they called me, I think, the night before they needed me,
00:10or two days before they needed me.
00:11Okay.
00:12So I flew, I got off a plane, did the wardrobe,
00:14and we were shooting that same night with Alexa.
00:18Oh, no, not with Alexa.
00:22With Velop Podaris, who's lovely.
00:25Very lovely.
00:26So you didn't have any time to worry?
00:29It was kind of perfect, actually, because I didn't have to go through the paces
00:32of being in my bedroom, being like, what am I going to do with myself?
00:36No, it was honestly, yeah.
00:39Tell us about your character, what you could tell us.
00:43I play a character who is an actor on the show,
00:47and who's a very, the other characters in the show like him quite a bit,
00:53I guess, is what I say.
00:54I don't know.
00:54Yes, they do, yeah.
00:57I don't know how much I'm allowed to share.
00:59I know, and it gets tricky, because we've seen some of the episodes, but you're good,
01:03you're good.
01:03Did you watch Euphoria season one and season two when it was out,
01:07or did you watch it when you got the part?
01:08I watched it when I got the audition, to get the kind of tone for the audition,
01:12but yeah, not before.
01:14It's dark.
01:16It's wild.
01:16It's intense, man.
01:17It's intense.
01:17But, you know, it's also helped a lot of people.
01:20I get that sense.
01:21We were on set one day, and someone came up to us and said, you know,
01:23really, the show did a lot for our friend group,
01:26to, you know, the reality of what drug addiction is like.
01:30I mean, Euphoria has been so realistic since day one.
01:36And Sam's a genius, obviously.
01:37He's a visionary, so.
01:38I really do.
01:39Yeah.
01:40Now, I have to tell you about the Sharks.
01:42Tell me about the Sharks and your 80s wardrobe.
01:45The 80s wardrobe, the set design on the show and the wardrobe is all fantastic.
01:50The hair and everything, it's great.
01:52I mean, Ryan Murphy is, yeah, he's a genius and a great collaborator.
01:57I mean, working with him, getting to be in episodes that he directed is really incredible.
02:01Who do you play?
02:03I'm not allowed to say much.
02:05Fair enough.
02:06Fair enough.
02:06Tell me about your favorite 80s outfit you're about to wear.
02:10I wear leather pants in every episode.
02:13Leather pants in every episode.
02:15There you go.
02:17So it's a lot of leather pants.
02:18Kind of some Stockholm Syndrome with the leather pants.
02:21You might get a branding deal.
02:22You'll see.
02:23I don't know who's doing leather these days.
02:26I do have to ask you about your job.
02:28What advice has he given you as you are rising and rising?
02:33It's everything.
02:34I mean, it's so incredible to have a person like that that I can bounce ideas off.
02:39It's not even so much the acting part, but, you know, how to carry yourself in a business
02:45and on set as a co-worker with these people that you're making this thing with.
02:51But, yeah, I mean, he's the perfect sounding board for all of it.
02:54How often do people come to you and say, I'm the perfect script for you and your dad?
02:58That hasn't happened yet.
02:59What?
02:59Yeah.
03:00You need to make that happen.
03:02I'm not against it.
03:03Come on, a buddy comedy.
03:04A buddy comedy.
03:05I'm not against it.
03:05I'm not against it.
03:05I'm not against it.
