00:22and it's like these are the moments where we get to celebrate those very
00:25difficult accomplishments and those days of like oh god I gotta take four
00:29Tylenol just to get out of bed my back hurts I got a sprained ankle but like
00:33I'm here celebrating today and I'm so grateful it says you see that you're
00:36still like grounded and you find yourself in that headspace of still finding
00:39gratitude I have to you know I have to I'm nine years sober this is an
00:43unbelievable experience to have this at this stage of my sobriety into my life
00:47and it's like I need to stay present because this is baby's first Tony's and
00:52who knows when the next one will be so I need to remember this for the rest of my
00:56life and so far so good I mean you're related to one of the most famous
01:00people in the world does she find that same sense of like wow I can't believe
01:05we're still doing this how do you kind of like find yourself remembering like I'll
01:08remember when we were kids and we used to do things I mean you know I think that
01:11we're a very grounded family which is amazing it comes from the top down comes
01:15from my mom who has just been the most amazing mother to both of us she was at
01:19Ariana's show last night in California and then took a red-eye to come here to be at the
01:24Tony's to watch me perform today there I mean what other mother can say that like
01:30you know like the way that she splits her time like that so it's just it's come
01:34from the top down and we are very grounded family and I'm very grateful to my
01:37mother for instilling that into us and and grandpa and Nona before her spending
01:42equal time yeah it's unbelievable yeah you know my mother loves her children
01:47equally and she does she comes to everything that we do she literally even
01:53like in previous she'd be with me for a week then with Ariana for a week then
01:55she'd be back to me three then she'd go run her company for a week then she'll
01:58come back to me and then she go to Ari and she doesn't sleep the Italians we
02:02have the best family dynamics and I know she was just in fuck her in law that she
02:05kind of come to you after and like there's a lot of like similarities in
02:08that like family dysfunction that was going on in that movie not I mean
02:12specifically say about fucking love but I will say like we are so
02:16stereotypically Italian in the way that we are just like very obsessed with each other
02:21always around each other like every holiday it's like it was so cute my
02:24mother was like for Mother's Day what do you want I just want to be in a room
02:28with both of my children and that's what we did on Mother's Day is just like
02:32that's it we had breakfast in bed it was the cutest thing ever and that just made
02:36her happy it's like all she all we want to do is be around each other as much as
02:39possible and so it's hard because Ariana's on tour and I'm like literally
02:43anchored to Broadway but um we have spent a lot of time together even with the
02:48crazy schedule that is so nice to hear what is your favorite Italian
02:51restaurant in New York La Masseria on 48 47th and 8th why is that classic Tuscan
02:58Italian like Nona's meatballs really good not as good as my Nona's meatballs you
03:04know God rest her soul but but really good meatballs I'm gonna have to go I have it
