00:11Knoblock, Ankeel, even like John Lester when he couldn't throw to first for that stretch.
00:16So with all the people you've talked to, have the yips with Anthony come up at all?
00:20Is that something that's come up?
00:22It hasn't come up with the people who are immersed in it, involved in it.
00:26I think in the outside world, everyone's trying to figure this out.
00:30You know, about a couple of years ago when Vaughn Grissom was first, came to the Red Sox,
00:35and nobody was seeing him throw.
00:37And there was murmurs all throughout baseball.
00:40I mean, scouts, everybody, about the yips, about the yips, about the yips.
00:44And, you know, I contacted the Red Sox, and they firmly denied that.
00:49And then when we saw them, it wasn't a great throwing motion, but it probably wasn't the yips.
00:54So I don't think that you can go down that road.
00:57Like I said before, when I said the y word, that's the y word.
01:00Because nobody in baseball loves talking about that.
01:02I mean, I did a whole thing with Daniel Bard, and that's the extreme example.
01:09Nobody, the worst thing you can do as a baseball player is introduce that,
01:13and everybody absolutely knows it.
01:15Now, I will say this, is that there are cases where guys have gone on the,
01:20not the injured list, but the, you know, I don't know what you call it, list.
01:25But it's basically a Gavin Lux, for instance.
01:27Gavin Lux, the second baseman for the Rays,
01:30I saw him make a throw this spring training that was 15 feet wide of the first baseman.
01:35That is a guy with a history of the yips.
01:37Next thing you know, they're putting on the IL with shoulder issue.
01:41That is like, that is, okay, we can point, paint the dots here.
01:45That is a guy with a y word.
01:46I don't think that you can go down that road quite yet with Roman Anthony.
