00:00Yeah, probably more excited about the weather to be honest. I like running in hot weather, so I know it's
00:05going to be a fast track and it's a new track here, being here for another national championships, probably the
00:10pinnacle of athletics in Australia, trying to crown yourself a national champion. We've got through the domestic season obviously and
00:17you can win, you can lose, but whoever takes it here is the king.
00:22And you've had a good start to the year, four wins?
00:24As I said, it's a great field, we've got so many boys coming up, so it's not going to be
00:28an easy race either, it's going to be competitive and I look to make that five wins in Australia.
00:32I've got so much family coming across the weekend and just sort of even being part of the family group
00:37chats while they're all figuring out their logistics and sort of figuring out how many people I'm going to have
00:41in the crowd.
00:41I'm just pumped because you don't get that overseas and I think here in Sydney I'll actually be able to
00:47hear my family in the crowd too compared to the packed out stadiums that we have overseas, so I'm really
00:52excited.
00:52So was it a nice moment flying in, you won those two medals and knowing that you're coming home to
00:57race?
00:57Yeah, yeah, definitely. I think it's when you know you've got a big program at the National Champs coming up
01:03in less than two weeks that you kind of, you take your moment with the medal and then you just
01:08move on.
01:09And it wasn't really until I saw Rose Davies at the track when we were training last week and she's
01:13like, oh congrats!
01:14And I'm like, for what? Like you just, I don't know, now you just kind of go, okay, I've got
01:18a big job to do at Nationals Reset and then on Sunday afternoon I think my team and I will
01:23reflect really well and take in everything we've done since sort of that World Cross medal in January.
