Problem is, he clocks two coworkers who are just trying to survive their overtime as a couple. So now the most romantic night of the year turns into a sprint through danger, bad assumptions, and the kind of confusion that only happens when you’re hunted by someone who takes flirting way too literally.

Heart Eyes leans into the ridiculousness without pretending it’s high art. It’s a slasher built on one simple premise: wrong identity, wrong timing, and two people stuck running for their lives instead of making plans. If you like your holiday horror with a wink, this one fits.

Valentinstag, rote Rosen und ein Serienmörder, der offensichtlich beim Thema Romantik nicht ganz zu Ende gedacht hat. Der berüchtigte „Heart Eyes Killer“ sucht sich nämlich ein Liebespaar als nächstes Ziel. Dumm nur, dass er ausgerechnet zwei Kollegen im Büro-Dauerbetrieb falsch einsortiert. Statt Candlelight-Dinner gibt’s Verfolgung, Fehlalarme und das sehr unromantische Gefühl, dass die Liebe gerade zur Lebensversicherung wird.

„Heart Eyes“ ist Slasher mit Büroalltag als Munition. Witzig, wenn es sein will. Panisch, wenn es muss. Und am Ende bleibt die Frage: Wer hat diesen Typen eigentlich reingelassen. Spoiler: nicht wer smart genug war, die echten Zeichen zu lesen.
