It’s been a year since Melanie vanished without a trace, and Clover and her friends decide the best way to get answers is to go straight into the isolated valley where everything went wrong. Naturally, the first thing they find is an abandoned visitor center. Because subtlety is for people who don’t mind dying on camera.

Before they can piece anything together, a masked killer starts stalking them. One brutal murder after another, with the kind of creativity that only horror movies can afford. And just when you think they’re done, they wake up at the start of the exact same night. Again. The valley traps them in a time loop, and the threat adapts each round, getting nastier instead of learning manners.

Hope runs out fast. Not because they’re pessimists, but because there’s a real limit to how many times they can “try again.” Their escape plan is painfully simple: survive until dawn.

Ein Jahr ist rum. Dann tauchen Clover und ihre Freunde ins Tal ab, um Antworten auf das mysteriöse Verschwinden ihrer Schwester Melanie zu finden. Klingt nach Detektivarbeit. Wird aber ein verlassenes Besucherzentrum als Horror-Arcade. Kaum sind sie drin, sind sie auch schon weg. Ein maskierter Killer jagt sie, und zwar nicht mit subtilen Warnungen, sondern mit immer neuen, ziemlich grausamen Varianten davon, wie man eine Nacht nicht überlebt.

Und dann passiert das Schlimmste. Sie wachen wieder auf, ganz am Anfang derselben Nacht. Zeitloop. Wiederholen. Reparieren geht nicht. Die Bedrohung ist jedes Mal anders. Mit jedem „noch ein Versuch“ wird klar: Irgendwann ist die Anzahl ihrer Tode nicht mehr nur metaphorisch. Überleben bis zum Morgengrauen ist plötzlich weniger Plan als Mantra.
