GREY SHARK RUSHES DIVER DURING SPEARFISHING SESSION

Check out the tense moment a large shark suddenly appears and lunges toward a diver during a spearfishing session.
Daniel Van Gemert, from Australia, filmed the underwater encounter while diving in a reef area surrounded by tropical fish and coral.
The footage begins calmly, showing clear water and marine life, before the situation quickly changes.
Out of the blue, a large grey nurse shark emerges from the shadows and moves rapidly toward the diver, opening its jaws just inches from the camera.
The sudden movement appears to startle the diver, who immediately begins ascending toward the surface.
The video shows the water becoming disturbed as the diver rises quickly, before breaking the surface and reacting in shock while scanning the area.
The encounter highlights how quickly conditions can change during underwater activity.
Daniel said: “Grey nurse swam past during a spearfishing session, and it all happened so fast.”
