A professional diver has captured a heart-racing close encounter with bull sharks.
Ana Ximena Ibarra Lazcano, a divemaster from Mexcio, captured the moment during a dive off the coast of Playa del Carmen.
In the clip, several large female Bull shark can be seen circling calmly as a trained diver feeds them, offering a rare and up-close look at one of the ocean’s most powerful predators.
Ana said the encounter was carried out under controlled conditions with experienced professionals, and no one was injured during the dive.
Bull sharks are known for their strength and adaptability, often found in both saltwater and freshwater environments, making sightings like this both thrilling and unforgettable.
The encounter highlights both the allure and respect required when interacting with marine life — offering a glimpse into a world few get to experience firsthand.
