A simple camera test turned into a once in a lifetime ocean encounter.
Carlos Rodriguez from Australia filmed a rare moment during his first ever test of his own underwater camera.
After swapping equipment and diving back in, he suddenly noticed a massive shadow moving toward him.
To his disbelief, it was a whale shark, an extremely rare sight in the area, swimming calmly right in front of him.
The whale shark stayed for around ten minutes, giving everyone on the boat an unforgettable and once in a lifetime encounter.
Carlos said : “Extremely rare to see them around here and I was lucky enough to get my first shot of this ocean giant!”
“It stayed with us for 10 minutes, all the guests were lucky to see it and enjoy its presence.”
