00:02We don't really know what happened, how he landed there.
00:06A really sad thing to see that somebody would leave an animal in that state.

00:14He came to the shelter. He was just shaking uncontrollably.
00:20It made me feel like the best thing that we could do for him was take him home and make
00:25him our foster.
00:25So we brought him home and he was still just exhausted and completely drained.

00:33One of our dogs in particular, she was a street dog and she had puppies on the street.
00:38She showed the most interest off the bat, just laying by him, licking him, just doing all the stuff that
00:43a mother would do.

00:45And then his real big breakout into the world is when...
00:49Oh my god, he's running!
00:50We're setting up for a gala and that's when he really took to my wife Natalie.
00:55He was finally able to use his legs on his own and he sure used them to follow her around.
01:00Do you miss your dad?
01:01I think we knew as soon as we walked into our house with him that he was going to stay.
01:12The most amazing thing is when he first started to use the stairs.
01:17Because at that point the stairs were higher than he was tall.
01:20But he had gotten enough strength and then that was just a huge confidence boost.
01:26Seeing how happy he was, we knew that he wanted to live with us and our dogs.

01:36We decided to give him a DNA test.
01:39It was so hard to tell what kind of dog he was.
01:41Oh my gosh.
01:43We definitely did not expect the results that we got back and he is 100% American bully and those
01:50are big dogs.
01:51So for him to only be 5 pounds at 5 months and actually be alive was absolutely shocking.
02:00Equally as shocking as the fact that we now had an American bully on our hands and not a Chihuahua.
02:06We couldn't be prouder of Drummy and we are so happy that Drummy is going to be a part of
02:12our family and living in our home.
02:21But they will not get back at the end of this episode.
