00:00But let's focus on this game itself.
00:01The favorites, it's no surprise today, Craig.
00:03It's going to be Seattle.
00:04It's Castillo going up against Johnson.
00:06Overnight around a minus 155 price, give or take, that Seattle was trading at.
00:10Now, we're up to 166 and as high as 175 in the marketplace as a favorite towards the Mariners.
00:15A total of this game is nine.
00:17The public expecting a bounce-back performance today for those M's, Craig.
00:21Yeah, and I would say in this game in particular, both teams four and five,
00:26both teams, you know, wrapping up on a Sunday.
00:29And the one thing that we haven't talked about throughout the show,
00:31and unfortunately when we're doing the show, we don't know exactly, are the lineups.
00:36And in a game like this, with a lot of their starters playing as much as they have for both
00:41teams,
00:41as I've noticed here, you could get some wonky lineups today, Donnie, with these two teams.
00:46So make sure before you do anything, make sure Cal Raleigh's in there for Seattle.
00:50Make sure Trout is in there for the Angels.
00:52Like, you could have some significant players sitting.
00:57So, and especially on the East Coast, a later game, before you do anything, check it out.
01:02So, for me, no strong opinion here.
01:04I do think Seattle is the better team.
01:07And I think that this is the kind of thing where Seattle goes home, they go to sleep,
01:11and they say to themselves, we should have won that game.
01:13Let's make sure we get the next one tomorrow.
01:14My guess is Seattle does that today.
01:16They don't love the Angels pitching, and I certainly don't love their starting pitcher today.
01:20I think they do win today as well.
01:21I think it's a Seattle day.
01:22And the reason I'm saying this, we don't have a huge book on Ryan Johnson.
01:25You take a look at last year, Craig, only 71 batters that he faced,
01:28but he got cracked by left-handed batters to the tune of a 455 weighted on base percentage,
01:33or excuse me, a 455 ISO and a 567 weighted on base percentage.
01:38And it's really translated over to this year as well, Craig.
01:40You look at only 18 batters he's faced from the left-hand side,
01:43a 286 ISO and a 489 weighted on base percentage,
01:46and even a high walk rate at this point.
01:48So when I look at that Mariners lineup, and Craig pointed out, look,
01:50we're early in the day.
01:51This game's not going to start till what?
01:531 o'clock West Coast, which is 4 p.m.
01:55Raleigh left-handed batter.
01:57Cal Raleigh, who's going to be a switch hitter,
01:58a whole bat from the left-hand side.
01:59Naylor, as well as Canzone, as well as Crawford and Young,
02:03and also Rivas, who's not a great hitter, but he's a switch hitter.
02:06Craig, we might be looking at seven of the nine batters to beat lefties today,
02:09which is what Ryan Johnson doesn't want to say.
02:12So for me, home run chances in this game,
02:14Luke Raleigh leading off there at a 474 ISO
02:16against righties to start the season.
02:18He's at a plus 500 price,
02:20and then Dominic Canzone at a plus 350 price, Craig.
02:22I'm with you.
02:23I think the Seattle Bats, if this lineup is what we think it might be,
02:26the lefties could have an advantage today.
02:29Yeah, it could very well be.
02:30Keep an eye on that.
02:31And all late games is always my advice with the lineups,
02:34because as it stands,
02:36you have to make some afternoon and evening decisions.
02:38And I think that probably goes for the next game we're going to preview as well.
