00:21Both crew members ejected safely, but only one of them was rescued by two military helicopters

00:30The wounded American colonel was somewhere in the rugged mountains of southwestern Iran,
00:34and so were the Iranian Revenutionary Guard Corps. The IRGC raced to locate him,
00:39even recruiting locals for the job. The rescue operation, which involved dozens
00:43of military aircraft, faced resistance from Iranian forces. According to Reuters,
00:47two Black Hawk helicopters involved in the mission were hit by Iranian fire, but were able to escape.
00:52Trump confirmed the rescue in a Truth Social post, writing,
00:56he sustained injuries, but he will be just fine. And then he added,
00:59we will never leave an American warfighter behind.
