00:00The Amadmi Party is facing a fresh political jolt.
00:04Amadmi Party's former chief spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar has quit the party and joined the Congress.
00:09And Kakkar has not left quietly.
00:12She's launched a sharp attack at the Amadmi Party, saying it has deviated from its founding principles,
00:18failed to deliver on its promises, and that she could no longer defend what she calls the indefensible now.
00:25Kakkar has also accused the party of putting self-interest ahead of the national interest.
00:29But her praise for Congress has been equally pointed.
00:33Kakkar called Rahul Gandhi an authentic leader, praised what she described as his resilience,
00:38and said the Congress and Rahul Gandhi are fighting against the chief election commissioner, Gyanesh Kumar.
00:45I call Amadmi Party indefensible now.
00:49And just give us some instances that pushed you to leave the party ultimately.
00:57Oh, well, it was no longer possible, Shreya, for me to defend the fact that Booth,
01:03a person who does not even, who did not even have the experience to be working at Booth level,
01:09suddenly that person is migrated from Rajasthan, brought into Punjab,
01:13given Gaadi Bangla a plump post, and you told me that you don't have the same gaadi bangla.
01:21Now there is no unknown person, who doesn't have the experience to be working at Booth level.
01:26How do you defend this?
01:27And honestly, over the past decade or so, in my being in politics,
01:32I have come to the definite conclusion that Rahul Gandhi is an authentic person.
01:37And I also think that already there is the traitor Gyanesh Kumar,
01:41who is ensuring this, that BJP gets vote,
01:44Chori Se votes, which the BJP, which weren't cast to the BJP.
01:48And so therefore, not a single vote should go astray now,
01:53and they should all come under one umbrella,
01:55and it should go to Congress,
01:56if the idea is to ensure that BJP is ousted,
01:59and if we have to preserve the plurality in India,
02:03if we have to preserve the sovereignty of this country,
02:05we must all come under one umbrella.
