00:41to officials linked to Javier Milay's party.
00:51Hello and welcome to From the South. My name is Pablo Michelicio from the Telesur Studios in Caracas, Venezuela. We
00:57begin with the news. Stay with us.
01:17Iran destroyed multiple targets of the United States and Israel in the Persian Gulf during the 95th wave of missiles
01:24as part of the True Promise 4th Operation.
01:27The Iranian Revolutionary Guard highlighted that among the destroyed targets were the EMRs and Patriot systems, the Mars-Mixels launcher
01:36system and other facilities within the U.S. operation centers in Kuwait, Baren and the United Arab Emirates.
01:43At the same time, Tehran attacked an Israeli-owned merchant ship in Baren as well as other sites in the
01:50country.
01:50The military entity emphasized that these operations were successful in defense of its territorial sovereignty.
02:06Iran denounced Saturday an attack by the United States and Israeli forces on the Bush nuclear power plant and the
02:13Qusestan petrochemical complex.
02:15According to Iranian authorities, a guard was killed by projectile fragments near the perimeter of the facility while the shockwave
02:23and impact caused damage to one of the plant's auxiliary buildings.
02:27Initial investigations indicated that the most critical sections of the plant were not affected and that operations are continuing without
02:36interruption.
02:37According to the Persian nation's foreign minister Abbas Arashi, the Bush facility had been bombed four times since the beginning
02:44of the war on Iran and criticized these actions as a lack of concern for its safety.
02:55In this context, on his social media, Arashi called the West's position on the attacks hypocritical and recalled the outrage
03:04caused by the hostilities near the Ukrainian Zaborizia power plant and warned that the bombing could cause radioactive fallout that
03:12would seriously affect the Gulf countries.
03:15Arashi also denounced that the attacks on petrochemical plants.
03:19Arashi also denounced that the attacks on petrochemical plants are part of a specific objective on the part of Washington.
03:29When continuing in Iran, thousands of protesters stayed to the streets in support of the Islamic revolution and condemned aggression
03:35by the United States and Israel.
03:37The protesters chanted slogans against the Sionist regime of their Western allies in order to demonstrate national unity and support
03:46for the Iranian government.
03:47At the same time, they celebrated the news that Iranian air defense had shot down two U.S. fighter jets.
03:54Since the aggression began on February 28th, Iranians have maintained their presence in the streets, which reflects their support for
04:01the Islamic revolution.
04:10The U.S. War Department confirmed that 365 U.S. troops have been injured and 13 others killed since the
04:17beginning of the war against Iran.
04:19A detailed report on the war reported that the vast majority of the injured are enlisted personnel within the U
04:26.S. military.
04:27According to official figures, 247 of the injured belong to the Army, 63 to the Navy, 36 to the Air
04:35Force and 19 to the Marine Corps.
04:38However, other reports suggest that the actual figure could be much higher given the strict media censorship in the United
04:46States.
04:47The Pentagon has now provided details on the medical conditions of those affected despite growing questions about the conflict.
05:01According to Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, FAO, the conflict in the Middle East is already impacting
05:08global food supplies.
05:09FAO was that a prolonged crisis could directly affect agricultural production and increase the prices of basic goods.
05:16According to the Organization's Food Price Index, the average price of food increased by 2.4 percent compared to February
05:25and 1 percent more than a year ago.
05:27Despite the moderate increase, the reports published on the official FAO website consider that if the conflict with Iran continues,
05:35there will be direct consequences for the agricultural sector.
05:39FAO also warns producers make good impacts, plant less or switch to less fertilizer-intensive crops, affecting yields, food supply
05:48and prices this year and the next.

06:17Israel accelerates demolition of Palestinian
06:20structures in the West Bank including East Jerusalem. The Palestinian Information Center
06:25criticized the fact that 102 demolition operations were carried out on structures
06:30in the West Bank during the first quarter of 2026. The Zionist regime is destroying
06:35structures in this occupied territory under the pretext that they lack building permits,
06:41while Palestinians claim that obtaining approval for construction work is virtually
06:46impossible due to the measures adopted by the Zionist regime.
06:59We move on to the topics. In Turkey, demonstrations in several cities rejected the North Atlantic
07:04Treaty Organization on its anniversary. Several political parties called on their members to
07:09take to the streets to protest against the organization founded on April 4, 1949. In Ankara,
07:15Istanbul, Izmir and Eskizahir demonstrators demanded the closure of U.S. military bases in Turkey
07:21and the country's withdrawal from NATO. They also condemned the aggression of U.S. and Israel against
07:27Iran. The protests are the start of a campaign against the warmongering organization which will
07:33hold its annual presidential summit on July 7th and 8th in Ankara.

08:31local officials warned that the thought could still rise as several people remain missing
08:36and elites still have been taken hostage. The army also said it is continuing to fight
08:41armed groups operated in the east of the country that are trying to undermine peace efforts.
08:52In Rwanda, President Paul Kagame criticized the United States government calling the recent
08:58sanctions against his military an insult to his country. The president accused Washington of exerting
09:04a strong pressure on Kigali while treating the Democratic Republic of Congo with Kigali, despite the
09:11latest failure to comply with the peace agreement signed under Donald Trump's mediation. In this context,
09:16the Mexican government defended the Rwandan intervention as a necessary measure of self-defense
09:22against militias linked to the 1994 genocide. The president also warned that he would not withdraw his defenses
09:30as long as both the threats persisted. Previously, the United States sanctioned Rwanda for his at least support of the

11:44due to poor visibility. Records state that those levels have risen to a high concentration of over

12:10affecting the happening regions in central and southern Italy. Officials stated that the storm

15:36and strengthening of the national program to investigate cases of people disappeared
15:41from 1973 till 1990.
15:44The organization has expressed deep concern regarding the decision by
15:48Los AntĂłn Lucas's development to dismiss three professionals
15:51to help keep decisions within the program.
15:54They say the officials in question have a solid track record
15:58and that their departure could weaken the problem's effectiveness.
16:02Therefore, the Human Rights Commission is demanding guarantees
16:04that there will be no restrictions on communications
16:07that may jeopardize the continuity and effectiveness of the program.
16:18In the United States, a group of 63 Democratic lawmakers
16:21in the right to the president of the United States
16:23questioning the expansion of the economic campaign against Cuba
16:26are warning that the six levels of policy
16:29are suited as to the opinion of the protesters on the island.
16:31The initiative was promoted by Juan de Flamengo Levy-Mix
16:35and the Senator Keenan Keenan,
16:37who argued with the facts that Washington's attempt
16:40to force the institutional control as a legal
16:43despite no 60 years of assumptions.
16:46The lawmakers also urged the president to pursue
16:48each amount of opportunities instead of maintaining
16:51what they call and the effect of the system.
16:54It is important to highlight that it was not fair.
16:57To prove ''No, Alejandro, that your father can go and find you'.
16:59The Secretary of
17:26The Cuban government, through its foreign minister Bruno RodrĂguez Barrilla, expressed
17:30his gratitude on Friday for the aid sent by governments and people from around the world
17:35to help Cuba cope with the intensified blockade imposed by the United States against the island.
17:40In a message posted on his social media accounts, the official made a public acknowledgement
17:44with these words.
17:45We thank the governments and people who have sent material aid to Cuba amid the energy
17:51blockade imposed by the U.S. government, which is causing severe harm to the Cuban people.
17:55Solidarity cannot be blocked and demonstrates its value in the face of the genocidal U.S.
18:00policy.
18:10Cubans across the island celebrate Saturday the 65th and 64th anniversary of the José Martí
18:16Pioneer Organization and the Young Communist League, respectively.
18:20The festivities began days before with cultural exports and political activities in all provinces
18:25and cities in the country.
18:27Amid the economic difficulties resulting from the strengthening of the U.S. blockade against
18:32the Caribbean island, the José Martí Pioneers Organization was founded on April 4th, 1961
18:38under the name of Union of Rebel Pioneers, taking its present name in 1977 during the third
18:45Congress of the Cuban Young Communist League.
18:47On the same date, but in 1962, the Young Communist League was founded following a proposal by the
18:53historic leader of the revolution, Fidel Castro, during the closing ceremony of the first Congress
18:58of the then-association of Young Rebels.
19:09And in the context of the celebrations, Cuba President Miguel DĂaz-Canel congratulated both organizations
19:14on eggs and affirmed that they were a tremendous responsibility for the future of the country.
19:21He also stressed that their duty was to creatively channel the talent, energy and natural enthusiasm
19:27of children, adolescents and young people into healthy environments free from violence, alienation
19:34and drugs.
19:35The President finally called on not to forget the words of the founder of Cuba's Communist
19:40Party and Jewish leader, Julio Antonio Meya, that every future must be better.
19:52All of the activities we have carried out have been organized by each of the pioneer groups
19:58and also within the groups.
20:00They have been made possible all thanks to the leadership of the pioneers who responded
20:05to the proposals and to the activities they proposed to carry out for this April 4th.
20:12We move on to other topics.
20:13Guatemala celebrates Holy Saturday and the start of vacationers' return from various destinations
20:19with at least four religious processions.
20:21The country awaits day of the resurrection with possessions dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows whose
20:27image is usually carried by women dressed in mourning who accompanied the Virgin Mary in her grief
20:33over the loss of her son.
20:34This act becomes a tradition passed down from generation to generation where condolences are
20:40offered to the Virgin by approaching churches and praying before her image in an atmosphere
20:46of respect and silence.
20:48The video culminates a night with the solemn Easter video.
21:00The Artemis' second mission, the second moon landing space flight in over 50 years, enters its third day of journey
21:06now
21:07closely to the moon and to the Earth.
21:09The crew is being transported on the Orion spacecraft on a journey expected to cover more than 400,000
21:15kilometers from Earth to lunar orbit.
21:18The objective to the expedition is to collect information, geopolitical samples from the moon
21:24and photographic documentation for future expeditions.
21:27According to NASA's statements, Artemis' second aims to consolidate technological preparations
21:32and laid the groundwork for a permanent astronaut presence on the moon.
