DOG REMAINS CALM AS LEOPARD LUNGES AT ZOO WINDOW WITH VID BY LAKSHYARTHA SHARMA Watch this clip where a routine zoo visit suddenly turns into a heart-stopping moment, as a curious dog comes face-to-face with a highly agitated leopard. Sylver Samuel from Simpsonville, South Carolina, USA, recorded the encounter as her dog, Don (also known as Adonis), calmly observed the big cat even as it lunged and swiped aggressively toward him. Despite the leopard’s predatory behaviour, Don remained composed, continuing to take treats and staying responsive to his owner. The pair only stayed for a few seconds before leaving the area, ensuring the animal was not further stressed. Sylver said: “The zoo animals and crowds are a great training opportunity for desensitization, but it is not something we stick around for unless the animals are just curious and not becoming stressed or frustrated. "We stayed here for just a few seconds and left to respect the animal's space. "Don's temperament is very much still puppy even now at 2 1/2 but his composure in situations like this remind me of how important it is to have a stable dog. "This could've went really wrong for us. But as you could see, he was curious but still taking treats from me while dodging the slashes from the leopard.” ENDS
