00:01Tight today, huh? Georgie, alright good morning everyone and so I have been
00:10away for a couple of weeks and it's my first day back at the sanctuary. Super
00:14excited to see the animals. I hope they excited to see me.
00:21Hello my gorgeous. Hello my gorgeous. This is my girl. Hello boy.
00:32It's a reunion. Hello my girl. Hello boy. Hello girl.
00:46Hello my boy. Yeah, come let's go. Let's go here. Come, come, come, come. Come guys.
00:58He's like pushing me. She's pushing me. Oh, that's wonderful. Oh, come. Oh, come, come,
01:07come, come, come. Come, come, come, come, come. I think there's a nice area here. Come,
01:14come, come, come, come, come. No, no, no. Come. Come on. Come on you. Let's go. Come on.
01:31Right here, let's see. Oh, oh, oh. There we go. There we go. It's a lot better here.
01:42Alright and we can stop. Yeah. Don't get jealous my boy. Don't get jealous my boy. Hey, look at you.
01:53Hey.
01:54Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. And down. And down. And down. And down. And down. Yeah, yeah.
02:03Let's go down. There's my boy. And roly poly. And roly poly. Roly poly. Yeah.
02:26Yeah, my boy. Give you a thorough check over. That's not, so that's actually not a ringworm.
02:36That's just an abrasion. So when the lions get older, Mr. Big is 16. You see it in dogs as
02:44well.
02:44Wherever the protuberances of the bones stick out, they tend to rub. And when the lions lie down on hard
02:52surfaces,
02:53then you get that. Basically just the hair is no longer there. Hello, big boy. Yeah. Let's go. Let's go.
03:06Yeah.
03:07Ah, ha, ha, ha. Ah, ha, ha, ha. Yeah. Yahoo. Hello, my boy. You're very vocal. You're very vocal. Hey.
03:20Okay. Hmm. Okay. Is that enough attention for you? So whenever I haven't seen them for a bit,
03:31I will always come and show Mr. Big the attention first. Because if I show Ginny the attention first,
03:45he gets ticked off. And he might even still come and try and get some attention if I show her
03:55some love and affection.
03:57Oh, it's terrible here. Yeah, there you go. He's already putting himself between me and her.
04:11There you go. Hello, my boy. Here you are. Here's my boy. Okay, down. There we go. All right.
04:22Yes, you are the king. The king. Mr. King.
04:29Now, don't bite his tail. Don't bite his tail because then I'm going to get bitten.
04:33Why are you biting his tail? You silly thing. Hey. Gin. Gin, Gin.
04:44Guess you've got enough grasshoppers on you. What have you got there? Yeah.
04:59This is my girl. Such a sweet lioness. What a wonderful greeting. Fantastic. So they are definitely up
05:22on the list of animals to take walking. They are the third youngest group we have here at the sanctuary.
05:36Okay. Bye, guys. One, two, and three. Woo! Woo!
05:49He's got to the point where he's now seen the hyenas and this is all part and parcel of fun
05:59at the sanctuary.
06:04Part of the enrichment. All right. So good old Georgian Yame. Boys, here he comes running.
06:13I have Yame's favorite. Some catnip and the brush.
06:29So the first to greet is Yame. Hello, Yame. That's nice. First to greet is Yame. Hello, boy. Oh, oh,
06:40oh.
06:44Hey. Where's Georgy? Hello, Georgie. Ooh, your man. Oh, your man. Come here, big boy. Come here,
06:55Hatterson. Now, wait! Don't start tha... The cock. No. I've got some nice... Oh!

08:23yeah okay one more one more hit
08:41okay
08:46yeah georgie yeah so i was just trying to chew my camera no george yeah
09:16george george
09:19oh wait
09:30kitty hello my gorgeous
09:33hello my gorgeous
09:42what do you want what do you want hey kitty what do you want hey precious i know what you
09:52want i know what you want
10:00yeah let's get it for you hey how about it you want it yeah yes let's get you let's get
10:10you yeah let's get you let's get you come yeah
10:14hey
10:22okay two seconds just going to get nikita pilchards
10:37yeah
10:38yeah guys so i think somebody made a mistake when buying and ordering
10:42so those are minced pilchards and those are pilchards in tomato sauce those are the ones nikita likes
10:48i'm not sure what she's going to do with those ones because
10:52it actually looks like dog food
10:56let's see
10:58kitty kitty kitty kitty kitty oh
11:07now where is she going yeah we go
11:09Hello?
11:13Yeah.
11:39Guys look at Nikita's hair. Look how it's coming out and that is because the old girl is just
11:56not grooming herself anymore. You can see her colours actually, her hair is all oily and
12:03matted. Coming out in chunks, my girl's show. Precious soul. So Nikita is, I think she's
12:25pushing 23. And yeah, I think I need to... Hello, my girl. She's actually also pretty blind.
12:43So she's not seen well. So that's when you first arrive, she's not sure who you are. And
12:50then only after speaking to her and her licking you and smelling you, then she calms down
12:55and she realises that it's actually you. But initially when you come in with her now, especially
13:03having been away for a bit, yeah, she's pretty uncertain as to who this is. But as soon as
13:12you bring her her pilchards, she's a happy cat. I don't think I'm going to be giving her the
13:18minced pilchards. I think one can of pilchards is more than enough. She used to share a can
13:24between her and Cole. And so guys, for many of you who have eagle vision and who are extremely
13:33perceptive when watching my videos, a few of you pointed out that the video contained only
13:42Nikita and not Cole. We love you, Cole. You're such a beautiful boy. Say cheers to everyone.
13:51That is life at the sanctuary with the oldies. Time is borrowed, even with dear old grumpy Nikita.
14:03You know? And we realise that. You know, we've got to be gentle with them and appreciate them
14:12while they're still around. Look at her, she's still cheeky. Little cheeky girl. You're a little
14:17cheeky girl. You know that. You are Nikita. You're a cheeky girl. You are cheeky. Cheeky cheeky.
14:28Oh, grumpy. Grumpy kitty. Cheeky and grumpy. And she'll feel feathers to hiss and swipe and paw.
14:40She's still got a lot of feistiness in her old kitty.
14:53Oh my goodness. She's still busy with her, her meal there. So it's actually quite interesting
15:01that she came, um, for the pilchards, which actually just shows you how much she enjoys her pilchards.
15:09So she'd give up her, her meal to get some pilchards. Well done Nikita.
15:13No wonder. I was actually thinking to myself, um, it's very unlike Nikita to keep on emitting
15:20these little, you know, growls and grunts. And now I understand why. She was actually just saying
15:26to me, listen, I've got a piece of meat and you're not welcome. You're not welcome to eat my meat.
15:32But yeah. Still got an appetite. Anyway, we're going to love and leave Nikita. And once again, guys,
15:41I hope you understand, um, the reasoning behind not immediately going out on the socials, uh, with,
15:50with Cole. Um, because yeah, even though he wasn't the most featured cat on the channel,
15:57he was still equally loved. And a male leopard living to that age, uh, in captivity is, is,
16:03is quite record breaking. I mean, it's, uh, it's, it's no mean feat. And, uh, yeah, it, it, it was,
16:12again, um, a feather in all of our caps here at the sanctuary. Uh, the mandate was to give him
16:19a
16:19good life, a good quality of life. I think we did that as best as we could. If you had
16:23to ask Cole,
16:23maybe he would think that he, he lived a good life too. So, uh, I'm going to love and leave
16:28Kiri and,
16:30let's go and visit some hyenas. Oola, come. Oola.
16:38Looks like you've eaten half a cow. Hello, Ma. Hello, mate, gorgeous. Hello, Stinky.
16:51He's a good boy. I have some really, really cool news to share. Uh, it is that time of the
16:58year
16:58again. Bobcat's really excited. It's that time of the year again, uh, where we are running the annual
17:04Good Good Giving competition. It's not just a good prize. It's a great prize for you and a partner
17:11or a friend. You'll get to fly out here to South Africa, uh, where you will spend, uh, two nights
17:18here at the sanctuary at Amy's camp. You'll get to, uh, spend a lunch with me. Furthermore, you'll get to
17:24go on a wonderful, wonderful conservation experience. That's not enough. You'll then be, uh, whisked away
17:30to the Kruger National Park for three nights in absolute luxury. You'll get to see Bobcat's cousins,
17:36hopefully. And then if that's not enough, you will then be swept away to the magical Cape town,
17:43where you will be get to spend, uh, three nights experiencing everything the Cape has to offer.
17:49All that you really need to do, uh, to get your name in the hat to enter the Good Good
17:53Giving competition
17:55is donate. It's really that simple. Um, and your donation, uh, every cent of the donation goes into
18:01the conservation causes that the KRF gets behind. That includes, um, all the anti-poaching causes that
18:08we, um, support snare removal, the helicopter flights that are so desperately needed in many of these remote
18:15parts, as well as, um, you know, the education of the communities and upliftment and, uh, yeah,
18:22not forgetting protecting, uh, the habitat in which these beautiful animals exist. So guys, if you've ever
18:29wanted to come to the sanctuary, meet the characters, meet Bobcat, meet Gabby, um, and go on a magnificent
18:36safari, a once-in-a-lifetime safari, and then if that wasn't enough, go to Cape Town. Click on the,
18:43uh, the link
18:43in the description below and, uh, follow the prompts. And all that's left for me to say is, uh, from
18:49me and Bobcat,
18:50good luck. And we hope to see you here in South Africa.
19:20you
