RIVAL QUEENS CLASH IN SAVAGE LEOPARD SHOWDOWN WITH VIDEO BY LAKSHYARTHA SHARMA Watch this incredible wildlife moment that felt nothing short of unreal as two female leopards erupted into a full-blown clash in the Lower Zambezi, Zambia. The dramatic encounter was filmed by wildlife guide Nick Kleer from Hoedspruit, South Africa, who had spent a few quiet days tracking the area’s elusive cats. But nothing prepared him for what unfolded that afternoon. The two females, Lady Mondoro, the more established leopard of the territory, and Mai, a younger female, built tension slowly throughout the day before finally exploding into a vicious fight. Claws tore through fur and skin as the rivals tumbled and struck with astonishing force, the sounds of snarls and ripping coats echoing through the bush. While brutal to watch, the raw display of strength and power was undeniably extraordinary. Despite the ferocity of the clash, both leopards survived. Mai suffered a large gash across her face along with a few other cuts, while Lady Mondoro walked away mostly unscathed. Nick, still shocked afterwards, said he couldn’t believe what he had witnessed: “Absolutely insane. Outrageous.” One user wrote: “Whaaat! Incredible encounter and captured. This definitely made up for the few quiet days… Since they’re both related and share the same territory, I’d assume this was a territorial dispute?” ENDS
