Moment brave dog chases off invading leopard

This is the moment a brave dog chased off a leopard - by repeatedly barking at it.

CCTV footage from Makhmalabad in the Nashik district of India's Maharashtra shows the small white dog scaring the predator away.

Moments before, another dog was seen fleeing as the leopard approached the area.

But instead of following suit, the brave dog stood its ground - and chased the leopard away.

The sighting caused panic among villagers, who alerted the authorities.

The forest department responded to the incident and discovered that the leopard had come from a nearby sugarcane field.
