New data from the RAC and AA shows the average cost of unleaded has now surged to around 150p per litre, the highest level in months, with some areas seeing even steeper increases. As the cost of filling up continues to rise, are Leeds locals changing the way they drive or just absorbing the extra expense?

00:00As long as the war is continuing the gas prices will always rise I mean I'm from Saudi so I
00:06know
00:06what's happening over there and everything and we're one of the countries which disposed the
00:10oil to other countries all over the world and stay for most like it disposed 20% of the oil
00:18price oil in the world so if the war continues it's gonna be a big problem I will I am
00:24very
00:24much concerned I don't have a car over here but I know from friends and family that car I mean
00:29gas prices are increasing very much I do a lot of walking and I don't drive my car much which
00:36is
00:36lucky because the prices are really high but it doesn't affect me greatly because it's not as if
00:42I drive a great deal I mean said that it's very obvious that a lot of other people are feeling
00:50the pinch because a full tank of petrol that's an enormous amount that's been added to that so I'm
00:57feeling it more on other people's behalf than I am on my own my wife's got an e-tron now
01:03that's an
01:04electric car so it's what seven pounds to charge or like 70p or something which you know you accommodate
01:09for now but if you've got like a larger engine let's say and it's costing you like 120 to get
01:14like 300 or so miles I can see how it can like stab you in the pocket but you've got
01:19the kind of
01:20luxury to like tweak what car you've got this war business I think it's it's it's really out of
01:25mind you know you should have done this really you know and that's you know everything goes up
