With taxes potentially set to increase, do you think the extra cost of increased tax is worth putting towards key services? Where should the extra money be spent?

00:00We're all really paying more tax in the food prices or whatever we buy in the shops all year round.
00:05So Christmas prices, really, I think.
00:08I still maintain that the NHS will be number one for me.
00:12We just need to be a bit conscious of where that tax goes after when we pay the tax to police, to ambulance, to fire service.
00:21I think the main thing is that people don't always believe that if they pay more tax, it's going to help them.
00:27And I think probably that is because, from what I understand, the government is in so much debt that it's just getting us out of the hole we're in, which I can understand too.
00:36So to be honest, I think I would love more money to be spent on services.
00:40But I do appreciate that first, they probably have to kind of get back to zero, if you see what I mean.
00:47But that's not going to be very popular, you know.
00:49So, yeah, I think if I could choose, I would say I would always put probably education first, maybe transport, the stuff that might pay for itself in five or ten years.
