00:31his second consecutive game. They do have one of their big players go back in the lineup tonight. The great
00:38Anthony Edwards third in the league in scoring. Jeff Skinway has more on the Ant-Man. Yeah. Thank you. He
00:43is back after missing six games now and he's such a big part of what they do. They're in the
00:49middle of a lot of playoff positioning right now. So it's very important. Let's take a look at what he
00:52did the last time the Mavericks played him as part of our stool.
00:56Going the extra mile when he went for 40. He gave you five threes. He also gave you six rebounds.
01:02I mean, he's one of the most incredible mid-range offensive players in the game, but he's a bomber from
01:07three. He glides such an incredible athlete. He's a big part of what they do. And after this stretch of
01:13missing some games with some knee problems, he needs to settle in for this final run. You know, Minnesota could
01:18get all the way back up to three. And if they do, he'll be a big part of it.
01:23That fourth quarter Anthony Edwards had in Minnesota, that first game out of the All-Star break was quite something.
01:2914 in the fourth quarter, 11 consecutive points after the Mavericks had overcome an 18-point deficit.
01:34Yeah, that's something he can do. But it looks like he's coming off the bench tonight. Got a little late

01:41But, yeah, come fourth quarter, you know the ball's going to be in his hands.

07:03But Jake Kidd said they want to get better at some things defensively.
07:06I thought they did that against a team that was really playing well.
07:09Five and one in their last six, but really hunkered down defensively, especially in the second half, some big-time

07:14And, you know, held a team that, you know, likes to get in the paint, really challenged them left and
07:18right.
07:19But led by this man here, had some huge plays late in the game that really get them to get
07:24that much-needed win.
07:25It's the first time the Mavericks have held an opponent below 40% shooting since January 3rd when they did
07:31that against Houston.
07:32First time they held an opponent below 100% since the Knick game on January the 19th.
07:37And it had been a while.
07:39But it was really nice to see.
07:40And it had to happen on a night when their offense had struggled, even though of late, overall, their offense
07:46has been very good.
07:47But down 15-8 here early as Nembhard pulls up from the nail.
