00:05Welcome to Peacock NBA Monday presented by Xfinity.
00:13Welcome to Miami.
00:14It was a beautiful day.
00:15The weather is warming up.
00:17The NBA playoff race is warming up as well as we're headed into the last two weeks of
00:22the season with the big Eastern Conference matchup tonight.
00:25Philadelphia 76ers, Miami Heat for Tyrese Maxey.
00:29Tonight is his second game back after missing 10 games with a right pinky injury.
00:34He was great in a win against Charlotte.
00:36And, of course, Bam Adebayo recently up 83 points in the game, averaging 20 points, 10
00:43boards, and about four assists per game this year.
00:47In the Eastern Conference standings, the Philadelphia 76ers with their win on Saturday.
00:51They're eight games over .500.
00:53They're in seventh.
00:54Miami 39 and 36.
00:56They are in ninth.
00:58And, by the way, this is the third and final matchup between these two teams this year.
01:02Hi, everyone.
01:03With the great Brian Scalabrini, I'm Mark Folliwell.
01:06This is the tiebreaker in the season series between these two teams.
01:09You just saw the standings, the proximity of one another to the standings.
01:13Two teams going in kind of different directions in terms of how they're playing right now.
01:17What's the mindset for these two teams today?
01:18So, with that one, Mark, Philadelphia coming off an amazing game against Charlotte where
01:24they dominated the fourth quarter on the road in a must-win.
01:27For Miami, they're in Indiana.
01:29A game they need to win, and Indiana outscores them 27-11.
01:35Both teams want to get wins.
01:36Both teams want to stay out of the play-in tournament.
01:39But they've got to both kind of figure out what this game means to them.
01:42Well, they both played over the weekend, and there's no changes in the starting lineup tonight.
01:46For Philadelphia, they got their big three together for just the 18th time this year.
01:51Maxie, Paul George, Joelle Embiid, the talented rookie from Baylor, Vijay Edgecombe,
01:56and Dominic Barlow, who was on a two-way contract earlier this season.
02:00That completes their starting quintet.
02:03And, meanwhile, Davion Mitchell from Baylor, Tyler Hero, Pella Larson,
02:07in his second season in the league, Andrew Wiggins and Bam Adebayo starting for the Miami Heat.
02:14Eric Spolstra's team has to cope with another game without Norman Powell.
02:18Spolstra, in his 18th season, is Miami's head coach,
02:21the longest-tenured coach in U.S. professional sports right now.
02:27Obviously, another good year for Miami.
02:30Meanwhile, Nick Nurse, in his eighth year as an NBA head coach,
02:33his third season with the Philadelphia 76ers,
02:35a champion with the Toronto Raptors.
02:38Eric Spolstra, of course, knows a thing or two about winning championships with the Miami Heat.
02:42So it's a great coaching matchup for a game of importance again.
02:47The standings, there's proximity, and this is the tiebreaker game.
02:51They're only playing three times.
02:53Scowl, one win for Miami, one win for Philadelphia.
02:56That puts a lot of importance on this one tonight as well.
02:59And I love how both coaches approach it.
03:01So with Nick Nurse, he's getting Embiid, he's getting Paul George and Maxie back.
03:06And he's like, hey, we're just going to figure it out as we go.
03:08And Spolstra's doing the same thing.
03:10Doesn't know what happened to their defense, but they're saying it doesn't matter.
03:14What matters is we've got to find a way to get a win.
03:17Miami controls the opening tip, and we're underway.
03:22And here's a quick thrust to the basket and score for Pella Larson.
03:26Yeah, a lot of misdirection with the back screen on one side.
03:29Pella Larson sees that lane right to the basket.
03:32Miami loves to drive in one-on-one situations.
03:35Almost 13 points per game post All-Star break for Larson as a quick answer from Philadelphia.
03:40On the elbow, pull-up from B.J. Eskin, the rookie.
03:45Eskin going into play tonight, 16 points per game.
03:49Right side of the floor, Wiggins put it down off a Bam Adebayo screen.
03:54And then it's Davion Mitchell driving and scoring in Miami.
03:57Two drives, which is what they do.
03:59Scowl, they lead the league.
04:00They drive it 61 times per game.
04:03And it's been on point on the first two possessions.
04:05Also, Miami averages 31 points a game in the first quarter.
04:09They like to get out to a hot start.
04:11Three-pointer and Bede on the money.
04:14Since returning, and Bede has been spectacular.
04:17He's playing inside.
04:18He's playing outside.
04:19He's doing it all for Philly.
04:2135 last week against Chicago, then 29 on Saturday against Charlotte.
04:25Inside Wiggins try to follow home his own miss.
04:28It's Dominic Barlow with the rebound for the 76ers.
04:31Here's Tyrese Maxey setting up.
04:34Maxey returned from a 10-game absence and was outstanding.
04:38And a four-point win over the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday night.
04:42He had an electrifying poster dunk in the fourth quarter.
04:46He drives and dishes to Paul George.
04:49George had a keen three, a go-ahead for good three late in the game.
04:53He missed on that attempt, and the ball out of bounds to Miami.
04:59Tyler Hero.
05:03By six to lane, pulls up, and hits.
05:05And they need Tyler Hero to be aggressive.
05:07Whether it's two-man game with Van Manabayo or going isolation,
05:11they need scoring tonight without Norman Powell.
05:14Did have his second-highest scoring game of the year last night, 31 points.
05:19Now here's a lost ball by Maxey.
05:20The save-in by Andrew Wiggins.
05:23Miami loves to push it.
05:25In and out on the three.
05:27Tyler Hero.
05:35Adebayo defending.
05:36A little bump from Embiid.
05:37Fades and hits.
05:38Embiid is so skilled when he gets in that 15-foot range.
05:41He needs very little space to get the shot off.
05:4436th game of the year for Embiid.
05:46On the move, Bam Adebayo draws a foul.
05:49The first on Embiid.
05:50And the first team foul.
05:53All right, look at D.
05:54Two and a half minutes played.
05:55And look at Miami's defense lately.
05:57I mean, they're known as a hard-nosed defensive team, but look at that.
06:01Look at those numbers.
06:03I mean, that is atrocious defensively.
06:05Not getting it done.
06:06In a point of time in the season where they have to stack up wins.
06:10They were playing great right up until March 16th.
06:14And then the bottom fell out on them.
06:16Bam on the free-throw line.
06:18That 149 given up on Friday night against Cleveland.
06:22The most ever allowed by the Miami Heat in a game in franchise history.
06:26And we have to understand, it's going to be a little bit pace-adjusted.
06:30Miami, 27th in the NBA in pace last year.
06:32They play a lot faster.
06:34So, obviously, more opportunity to score.
06:36But still, those numbers are not getting it done.
06:39That is not the Miami Heat way.
06:41More on Miami's defense.
06:42Let's introduce the third member of our crew, our courtside reporter, Jordan Cornett.
06:46Jordan had a chance to talk to Jaime Hawkes, and he said, defense, it's got to come from everyone.
06:50Everyone has to do more.
06:51We have more deflections, steals, rebounds.
06:53This is the moment where we can keep hold of the rope or let go and fall down the mountain,
06:59guys.
06:59Well, so far, so good on the offensive end of the floor.
07:02Davion Mitchell scoring for the second time in the game.
07:04Knocking down Miami's first three.
07:06Harris Bolster talked about, no matter what it is, a missed shot, a turnover.
07:10They want to get out and run.
07:12They want to try to get the ball to the paint and play from there.
07:15Drive it flush for Paul George.
07:18Miami up by two.
07:19Just over three minutes played.
07:21Bam for three.
07:22And it's good.
07:23So Bam out of bio in his first nine seasons.
07:27A hundred and twenty-one threes.
07:29That's his hundred and twenty-second three of this season.
07:32So he's shooting the three a lot more.
07:34And speaking of shooting a three, a response of Paul George from Philadelphia.
07:38Paul George looks so much better since his 25-game absence.
07:44Said he feels physically much better.
07:46Moving more quickly on the floor.
07:49Dominic Barlow after it was lost by Tyler Herro.
07:52Both teams on the deck.
07:53Jump ball is boost.
07:55All right, let's go back to this Paul George three.
07:58Watch him drift into space.
08:01Take no time.
08:02Oh, this is a drive where Paul George is turning a corner and elevating, throwing it down.
08:07I don't know if I've seen that all season.
08:10Next time he's...
08:1126-point game, Scal.
08:13Yeah, and then the next time he drifted into space and knocked down a three.
08:16So, there's no question Paul George is playing with a ton of confidence.
08:19And he looks fresh.
08:23Jump ball, Dominic Barlow.
08:25Barlow, that is.
08:26Tyler Herro, controlled by Miami.
08:28Checking the shot clock.
08:29Bam on a pile.
08:30In the paint.
08:30By the shoot.
08:31He hits again.
08:33Bam has had a lot of success against Joel Embiid in the regular season.
08:40Maxie on the driving dish.
08:44Four minutes gone by in the game.
08:46Miami at home and front by four.
08:49Back down Embiid.
08:50Deep in the paint to score.
08:51Yeah, if you don't see a lot of that from Embiid, I think he's mad that Adebayo's going back at
08:56him.
08:56Quick attack off a main basket.
08:58Driving dish.
08:59Mitchell finds Andrew Wiggins for a three ball.
09:01And that's what Spolcher was talking about.
09:03No matter what, we want to start our offense from the paint.
09:07Another back down here for Embiid.
09:09And down he goes.
09:11Whistle a bit late.
09:13Trip to the free throw line for Joel Embiid with Philadelphia down by five.
09:18Yeah, if you're in Philadelphia, you've got to be really excited about this.
09:20Embiid taking his time, getting to his spot.
09:23But watch this aggressiveness right here.
09:25To the middle.
09:26Jump stop.
09:27Goes right up.
09:29And here he is again against the double team.
09:31Splits it.
09:32A la Tim Duncan light.
09:37Miami's made four straight shots, but it's a trip at the other end of the floor to the free throw
09:41line for Embiid.
09:45Embiid is at 85.5% on free throws this year.
09:49Averaging approximately nine attempts from the line per game.
09:53And goes to the stripe with 7.32 left of the quarter.
09:59Foul on Bam for his first.
10:03And the first team foul on Miami.
10:05Now, Embiid has missed some time, but in his last 14 games, he scored over 24 points in each of
10:13those games.
10:15And since his return, averaging 32 points a game in the last two games,
10:20six boards in both of those games.
10:22And now here's Miami.
10:24Loose ball.
10:25Track down.
10:25Wiggins got it.
10:29Now Wiggins defended by Barlow.
10:33Glancing at the other end of the floor to check the shot clock.
10:35Plenty of time for Davion Mitchell.
10:37Off the bounce.
10:37Driving on Barlow.
10:39And Mitchell misses.
10:43A rebound from Paul George.
10:44Off the hands of DJ Edgecombe.
10:47Man, who brought the trampoline?
10:49Edgecombe high up up the rim.
10:51The alley-oop finish.
10:53An electrifying player.
10:55DJ Edgecombe soars and scores off the alley-oop pass.
10:59And then a turnover force.
11:00They're in the open court.
11:02A long three.
11:03Backs the end and outs.
11:08Now Tyler Hero looks for three.
11:12Missed it off line.
11:14Embiid the rebound.
11:16Embiid brings it up the floor.
11:19Edgecombe a sensational finish a moment ago, but gives it up.
11:22Now Embiid over Mitchell.
11:23Comes up short looking to draw the foul.
11:30And off to Hero.
11:32Mini for Tyler Hero.
11:34Soft touch.
11:35It falls.
11:40Tyler Hero's second basket of the game.
11:43Autobio leads Miami with seven.
11:46Embiid's got nine early on.
11:51Edgecombe on the ball.
11:53Embiid for a pick-and-pop too.
11:55Embiid looks a little tired.
11:57Miami should push the ball right now.
11:59And they are.
12:00Orson finishes in transition.
12:02Nick Nurse going to let them go.
12:04Smart play by Miami.
12:06Embiid right now is a little bit slow up the floor.
12:09No, Nick Nurse going to go with a timeout.
12:13After Paul George brings it into the front court.
12:17535, Lund to the first quarter.
12:19Mark, this was ridiculous.
12:23Look at him.
12:24Paul George throwing it high.
12:26Oh, my goodness.
12:28Edgecombe, 77, throwing it down.
12:36People of what Miami has done this year, particularly early in games, including tonight.
12:41They're going to play tonight.
12:42Tied for the most points per first quarter.
12:44Almost 32.
12:46Overall, 120 points a game.
12:49Second in the league.
12:50122 points for a home game.
12:52That's first.
12:52Out of the timeout.
12:53And they're missed.
12:54And Bam out by a run to the floor and flushes.
12:57And Philadelphia is going to attack right back and score.
13:00Paul George.
13:01And he draws a foul.
13:02What a great counterpunch from both teams.
13:07This is windshield wiper basketball in the first seven minutes tonight.
13:11Yeah.
13:12Embiid missed the shot.
13:13So, Bam gets out and runs, throws it down.
13:15Miami doesn't get back, complaining about a call.
13:18And on the other end, Khalil Ware with the push.
13:21Paul George out in transition.
13:26And you mentioned the points.
13:28One thing about Miami, they look great in the first quarter.
13:32They need to figure out a way to make this sustainable.
13:36Why can't they run all game?
13:38They're pushing on mates.
13:39They're pushing on misses.
13:40They have to find a way, when things aren't going well,
13:43to continue to do what their identity is this season,
13:46which is play fast.
13:48Number one in pace.
13:50After a three-point play by Paul George,
13:53the lead for the Heat, four points.
13:54Hero up the baseline to score.
13:56He got a little Pinoy step on the baseline.
13:59Hero, highly skilled player.
14:03Injuries have limited him to just 29 games as of tonight.
14:07Rebound for Ware off the missed three-point shot by Echko.
14:13Davion Mitchell attacking, throwing a lot.
14:16Ware is great.
14:17And finishing alley-oop with that one beyond his reach.
14:20Couldn't cleanly haul it in, and it's out of bounds.
14:22A bad read by Mitchell.
14:23Probably should have challenged Embiid at the basket.
14:26Thought Embiid came over, but to his credit,
14:29and Embiid is one of the best in the league at drop coverage
14:32and playing two guys at the rim.
14:35He's not going to be fooled by a play like that.
14:37And he stays in the game.
14:40Interesting to note in our conversation with Nick Nurse before the game,
14:43with Paul George coming back,
14:46Joel Embiid just back from 13 games out,
14:48due to an oblique strain, Tyrese Maxey.
14:50He said there's no minutes restrictions for any of those three individuals.
14:54Feels like he's concerned more about getting them more minutes together
14:58than he is about overplaying them at this point in time in the season.
15:02They do make some changes.
15:04Kelly LeBray Jr., Quinn Grimes both in.
15:07And Echko from the corner.
15:08Drills the three-pointer for Philly.
15:11Miami was in that zone.
15:12They got blitzed by Indiana in the zone.
15:14They came out with it.
15:16To no success on that one.
15:18Miami lost last night at Indiana.
15:20135-118.
15:22Hero, the step back rattles home.
15:25Hero has to be aggressive all night and has to do more than just the first quarter.
15:31To answer on the other routes,
15:33glancing off the iron of Paul George three.
15:40Bam on the perimeter.
15:42Echko picked him up.
15:43Touch pass by Mitchell.
15:45Jaime Jaquez Jr. is in the game.
15:47The top bench score in the league among six-man eligible players.
15:52Connects on a jumper along the baseline.
15:54And really smart play.
15:55Get Embiid away from the basket.
16:02Lead is nine.
16:04Close out to Echko.
16:06Cross-court pass to Oubre from Paul George.
16:09Three-pointer no and where the rebound.
16:14Dream start for Miami.
16:15Having lost seven of eight.
16:17But up by nine and a chance to push it to double digits.
16:21Just over three minutes left in the first quarter at home.
16:24They excel on back-to-backs.
16:2611-4 on the second night.
16:28Giant killer in the lane.
16:29No good for Hero.
16:30Offensive rebound.
16:32Ware.
16:33Shot in the paint.
16:34That comes up short.
16:35Oh, and Kelly Oubre is down.
16:37Hero keeps the ball alive.
16:39A foul is called here on Oubre.
16:43Rough landing there for Kelly Oubre as we look at our DraftKings live spread.
16:5076ers pregame.
16:51A minus two and a half.
16:53Now a plus one and a half.
16:56DraftKings the number one sportsbook for live betting.
16:58To get in on the action, download the app and use promo code DUNK when you sign up.
17:04Gabion Mitchell just checked out.
17:06He was excellent.
17:07But let's see if Miami can keep that same pace with him on the bench.
17:12Ware does stretch the floor and gets a three-pointer.
17:15Yeah, this is not uncommon for him to knock down three or four threes in a game.
17:2037% on threes this year.
17:21And Miami's on a nine-long run right now.
17:26Paul George, he's the one who picked up the foul a moment ago.
17:28His first, he goes cross-court, drives.
17:32His own defense has been good after that first possession for Miami.
17:36Illinois, a great three-point shooting team.
17:3835% this year.
17:40See how they're isolating Embiid away from the basket.
17:44And then Hero drives on him.
17:47And a foul is called.
17:51223 left in the first quarter.
17:53Miami and front by a dozen at home.
17:58Got to score before Embiid sets up that defense.
18:01And right now, out in transition, Kyler Hero draws about three guys to the paint.
18:05Kicks it out.
18:06Here's Bam leading the break.
18:08Pell Larson with the dunk.
18:09And then Davion Mitchell.
18:11He's a blur.
18:12And Bam throwing it down.
18:13If you're going to score against Philly, the best way to do it is to try to negate Embiid.
18:20And the way to do that is to push the ball.
18:22And you look at the first quarter stats.
18:24Seven fast break points.
18:26Sharing the ball.
18:27Ten assists from Miami on 14 made baskets.
18:30They've already hit six threes in this game.
18:33They score a lot, of course, because of their high-paced scowl.
18:36You're talking fast break points.
18:37Miami's 18 a game.
18:39Fourth best.
18:40And for what it's worth, Philadelphia does concede a lot of fast.
18:43Fast break points.
18:4476ers give up 17 fast break points a game.
18:47That's the sixth most in the league.
18:48Yeah, and so Philly likes to crash the offensive glass, especially when Embiid is not there.
18:53So when you do that, you're going to have to give something up.
18:56But right now, the story of Miami is not this.
18:59The story of Miami is can they maintain this?
19:03Because it seems like every game they have a quarter where they're in the teens.
19:07And that's not going to get it done against really good teams.
19:11Well, alert the media.
19:12Tyler Hero just missed a free throw, 93.7%.
19:16That's just his seventh missed free throw in 97 attempts this season.
19:21Doesn't have enough to qualify for the league-leading free throw percentage,
19:25which is what he achieved last year at 93.4.
19:311-2 on the line for Hero.
19:3310-0 run against the heat zone defense.
19:38Tyrese Maxey turns down an outside shot and hits a baseline pull-up from about 18.
19:43Yeah, with Joel Embiid in the middle, he presents so much gravity.
19:46He got the ball one time, and three guys surrounded him.
19:51That hits that 10-0 scoring run for Miami.
19:55That's Tyrese Maxey knocks down the baseline jumper.
19:59But 46 left first quarter.
20:01Hero was on the line a moment ago.
20:04Possession at the end.
20:05Good defense.
20:06Tyrese Maxey, league leader, and steals.
20:08But a block there.
20:09And it'll work fast, and it's Edgecombe again.
20:12Maxey's a blur.
20:13Edgecombe's a blur.
20:15Philadelphia giving Miami a little taste of their own medicine in transition.
20:19Tyler Hero straightaway three was in, and so it wasn't.
20:25Drew Smith is in the game for Miami.
20:27He's not played in the last four games.
20:30Providing some point of attack defense against Tyrese Maxey.
20:34Fights over and indeed screen.
20:36Smith guarding Maxey.
20:37Shot clock at seven.
20:38Slinging a pass inside to Grimes, who then finds Edgecombe for the corner three.
20:43See, they're not pushing the ball at the same pace as they were earlier in the game.
20:50They do want to pick and roll with Hero and Ware.
20:53Ware turned down to the outside shot, and then ends up with Tyler Hero drawing a foul.
20:5954 seconds left to the corner.
21:01Yeah, Hero trying to be aggressive right here.
21:03Good defense by Maxey.
21:04I thought he was going to turn the corner.
21:06Good job by Bam.
21:07Sprinking ahead.
21:08One of the fastest guys in the league, but Edgecombe gets to the basket.
21:12Nice play by Tyrese Maxey.
21:15Nine in the first quarter for Edgecombe as he goes out.
21:19That baseline jumper by Tyrese Maxey a moment ago, just a second field goal attempt, and his first make.
21:26Foul a moment ago on Quinn Grimes.
21:28First in the last two minutes.
21:30Simone Fontecchio is in.
21:32Aaron pass tracked down by Ware.
21:35Screens for Drew Smith.
21:36And a hand by Maxey thought he had a clear strip.
21:40Referee Trey Maddox calls the foul on Tyrese Maxey, which is his first.
21:45And two down in the last two minutes of freebies coming for the Heat.
21:48Boom, that's a tough call.
21:50Maxey got a lot of ball.
21:55Oh, that's tough.
22:00One thing to look out for right here.
22:04Philly would definitely play two for one, looking to shoot the ball around 31 seconds on the shot clock, on
22:09the game clock.
22:11Nick Nurse just does challenge a lot and quite successfully, 42 out of 60 on challenges, but opted not to
22:18there.
22:19As Drew Smith goes to the free throw line, he's made 83% this year.
22:23Tonight's 68 games of the season, and they call a foul, and it's good, Maxey!
22:29Tyrese Maxey chants for a three-point play.
22:32They didn't wait until 31 seconds.
22:34Maxey scores at 36.
22:35Full gas, no break.
22:37Maxey gets contact.
22:39This is a play that you see all the superstars making in the NBA, body control, touch on the rim.
22:46Now we have to bring this up.
22:48Miami should go two for one.
22:51Getting no indication from the Miami bench if they are going two for one, but they should try to push
22:56it.
22:56You can get up the floor in about three and a half seconds if you're an elite NBA player.
23:03Oubre's out of the game.
23:04Justin Edwards is in.
23:08Pass ahead by Smith.
23:11Wiggins to drive.
23:13Smith to drive.
23:17Fontecchio didn't make a shot for the four last night.
23:21No two for one, but now Fontecchio with a chance for the court, but then underneath the basket, there's an
23:26offensive foul.
23:28Wave off the basket for Simone Fontecchio.
23:30And an offensive foul underneath on Kahlil Ware.
23:35Man, now they're talking trash on the baseline.
23:40Maxey and Tyler Herro, look at these guys.
23:48Foul on Kahlil Ware is his second of the game.
23:52That's a tough call, but you're in the paint.
23:54You've got to be square.
23:55I'm not sure Maxey would have got out to the shooter on that.
23:58You've got to let him go.
23:59You've got to know where not to do plays like that.
24:04Fourth in the league in scoring.
24:05Tyrese Maxey, 29 a game.
24:07He's the initiator here on an end of court of possession.
24:10Drive, kick, George.
24:12What's it, Brian hits it.
24:14Kahlil Ware is back.
24:16Miami absolutely fell apart at the end once Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo win to the bench.
24:24But Philly and Maxey responded.
24:2610-1 Philadelphia run.
24:29You're watching Peacock NBA Monday presented by Xfinity.
24:38Jordan Cornett here in Miami.
24:40Sixers made a late first quarter push.
24:42Confidence is high.
24:43Confidence is also high because of this sheet of paper.
24:46I'm holding right here.
24:47An injury report for the Philadelphia 76ers.
24:50For the second consecutive game, it looks barren like this.
24:54You'd have to go back two months for an injury report to look like this for the Philadelphia 76ers.
24:59Now, of course, you see Janai Broom on there.
25:01Well, he's had surgery.
25:02He's been out for about a month.
25:03Tyrese Maxey, well, that's league protocol because he wears a splint on his finger.
25:07But clearly available and out here playing high-level basketball.
25:10I had a chance to talk to Kelly Oubre, and he said,
25:12Hey, look, it's like going into a fight, and you're under man for the majority of those fights.
25:16But all of a sudden, you show up with your chest puffed out because you've got all your guys, and
25:21you are ready to brawl.
25:22This group is confident and ready for a playoff push trying to improve their seating.
25:26And with that finish in the first quarter, showing that they mean business, guys.
25:31It was really intriguing to talk to Nick Nurse before the game, Scal.
25:35And a great report from Jordan about the mindset for Philly.
25:38But he said, Tyrese Maxey, he said,
25:40Look, it's always surprising when a player has a long layoff that comes back with rhythm.
25:44And he immediately pointed to how much Maxey worked during his ten games out due to that pinky injury.
25:51And was ready to hit the ground running.
25:53He's let the game come to him so far tonight, just five points in the first quarter.
25:56But 26 points, seven boards, eight assists, and 43 minutes on Saturday night.
26:02Yeah, basically Nick Nurse.
26:03It's like every time I saw Tyrese Maxey, he was running up and down the stairs, up and down the
26:07court,
26:08playing guys one-on-one, shooting.
26:10Like, he was doing everything.
26:11So, it's understandable that he comes back and looks this sharp.
26:16Well, he's got seven, and Bede has nine, and Paul George has 11.
26:20Edgcombe with nine as well, 12-1, Philadelphia run.
26:25Fantecchio over Grimes, missed on a three, and Quentin Grimes with a rebound.
26:30And then once Coltonster went to the bench here, it's a disgroup and struggling to score.
26:37Paul George is not struggling to score.
26:4014 to lead all players tonight, as he connects on another three.
26:46Three threes, five of seven overall for Paul George.
26:51Hacquez to Fantecchio.
26:54The 76ers go in front on the PG-3.
26:59Hacquez to answer.
27:01A dim bonus in to start the second quarter, playing minutes at center, and grabs the rebound.
27:08After connecting from the outside, Paul George into the paint.
27:12Late dish to Grimes.
27:15Grimes screens.
27:17Fantecchio on a switch.
27:19Low clock situation.
27:21A step back, a contested one.
27:23And Fantecchio the rebound.
27:29Fantecchio over the top.
27:31Well, Ware on the second opportunity flushes.
27:35That's what I'm talking about.
27:37A little post-up, around the paint, in the restricted area.
27:42Ware is top ten of the league in both dunks and second chance points.
27:47And speaking of dunks, it was a chance for Grimes.
27:49And he follows in his own miss.
27:51Yeah, that is a tough, tough putback for Grimes.
27:56It's the first offensive rebound of the game for the 76ers.
27:59Ware just scored inside.
28:01Shoots on the outside.
28:03Oubre, the defensive rebound.
28:05In transition.
28:07Slingshot across the court by Maxey to Grimes.
28:09To arriving, Kelly Oubre.
28:11Nice finish in the paint.
28:12So this group right here was the group that had to play a ton in addition to Maxey and George.
28:19But Grimes, him, Oubre, and Bona have all been playing really well.
28:24Baseline jumper, no good, Andrew Wiggins.
28:28Philadelphia has their biggest lead, 76ers.
28:31Attack on two or three more to him.
28:36Five main threes in the game for Philly.
28:38Overall, they're shooting 57% for the floor in the first quarter and change.
28:42Stands-till three over Larson.
28:44Missed by Maxey.
28:50Three minutes gone by.
28:52In the second quarter.
28:53Here's a drive and a spin and a circus finish by Wiggins as he draws the foul.
29:00Opportunity for three the old-fashioned way in to tie the game.
29:03Really simple play.
29:04Just get the ball to the other side of the floor.
29:05Look how much space Wiggins has on this drive.
29:08There's the spin.
29:10And then kisses it off the glass.
29:12On the other side, Sixers do a great job of having that balance of attack, but also look for cutters.
29:19Oubre right down the middle with a finish with the right hand.
29:24First player for the 76ers tonight with two fouls is now Paul George.
29:29On the Miami side, Ware has two fouls.
29:35Ware is out.
29:36Bam, Autobio's back in.
29:37So one thing to note, like Miami went with a bunch of bench guys, right?
29:42And it's understandable.
29:43When you're on a back-to-back, you're trying to get as many guys in the game that can impact
29:48the game as you can.
29:49Because you never know who's going to have it on that night.
29:52So it's understandable why Miami didn't.
29:55It's just Davis didn't play well when they were in there.
29:57A strong move inside.
29:58It was missed by Oubre.
30:01And then Bona on the put-back attempt does draw a foul.
30:04And we'll go to the line.
30:05I love the identity of this group, right?
30:09The first group had the M.B.
30:11He's running ice.
30:12So these guys are junkyard dogs.
30:15Getting to the basket.
30:17Offensive rebounding.
30:18More cutting.
30:19More movement for this Philadelphia 76er group.
30:23You mentioned that Bona was one of the guys who had to play a lot of minutes when Embiid, Paul
30:28George, and Tyrese Maxey were all out for significant chunks of this month of March.
30:35Bona started 10 games in March, averaging 7 points, 6 boards, 23 minutes, about a block and a half of
30:41games.
30:42This is a player two years running who's a top-five player in the league in blocks for 100 possessions.
30:48Yeah, and there's no one way to navigate an NBA season to have success in the postseason.
30:55You could be healthy.
30:56You could get a guy halfway through the season.
30:58Whatever it is.
30:59But right now, it looks like Philly has a lot of things going well for them.
31:04This group that probably needed some time, and they weren't going to get it, got some experience, and now you
31:09have some older guys that probably need some rest to get back.
31:13Here's the first one.
31:15Here's the first one.
31:16Here's the first one.
31:18Here's the first one.
31:18Here's the first one.
31:18Foul on Bona, his first.
31:22Bam Adebayo picked up his second foul a moment ago.
31:29Bam over the last four games, only 30% from the floor, and just four of 30 on threes.
31:35Goes to the free throw line and misses the first of two.
31:39You want to own a game-worn jersey from your favorite NBA player.
31:42Well, just scan to bid on official game-worn jerseys all season long.
31:46Go to NBA Auctions, your home for authentic game-worn jerseys.
31:52We did ask, by the way, with Eric Spolster before the game,
31:56if defenses are covering Bam Adebayo any differently
31:59since the 83-point game back on March the 10th against the Wizards.
32:03And he said no, but he hasn't noticed much in the way of changes
32:06for how defenses are gearing to stop Adebayo,
32:09who, of course, got off to such a great start in that game,
32:1131 points in the first quarter, out to 82.
32:13Yeah, I mean, he's scoring big numbers, but his efficiency is way down.
32:18That has to change for Miami.
32:22Inside, Utrecht misses it, should be it.
32:24It comes back to him, and he misses another who's just in too deep.
32:28Couldn't carve out enough space to finish.
32:29Quick attack, Miami, three-ball, straight music,
32:32Maximone, Fontecchio.
32:33And as soon as they check in, Davion Mitchell,
32:36the pace gets increased.
32:42Longer defender, Wiggins, on Tyrese Maxey.
32:45Swing it to Oubre, corner three missed.
32:48Fontecchio with it for Miami.
32:50And accelerating up ahead, it's Mitchell.
32:54Now, bam.
32:56Bona defending.
32:58Got a backing down.
32:59A pump fake, spun into traffic.
33:02Out to Fontecchio, looking for another three-pointer.
33:05Long rebound.
33:07Terence to Bam Adebayo.
33:09Got in over the arms of Adebayo.
33:11And another foul on Bona to send Adebayo to the free-throw line.
33:15That's smart play by Bam.
33:17You take a look.
33:18Soon as he feels contact, and that arm right there,
33:21you see the elite offensive players across the league
33:24feeling contact, going up, and getting two for that play.
33:30About 78% this year on free throws.
33:32Bam Adebayo.
33:34Had a one of two on the line a moment ago.
33:37733 left in the second floor.
33:39Of what is the third and final regular season matchup
33:43between Philly and Miami.
33:45The standings going into tonight.
33:4776ers are seventh.
33:49Miami, their ninth.
33:50Same record as the Charlotte Hornets,
33:52but they own the tiebreaker over the Hornets.
33:54This will decide the tiebreaker, Scowl,
33:56because in November, Miami won at Philly.
34:00127-117 late February.
34:03Philadelphia beat Miami 124-117.
34:06So, 1-1, even Steven going into the game.
34:08Yeah, and you know, with Miami,
34:10you can't go to Indiana and lose that game.
34:13You've got to...
34:15Oh, here.
34:16Face guard blockout on Pella Larson.
34:18Yeah, we saw a foul on Miami on Larson.
34:20Yeah, unless Bona grabbed him,
34:22that's going to be a face guard blockout.
34:27You're not allowed to face guard blockout a guy.
34:30See, oh, no, he's got good position.
34:32Oh, they should challenge that.
34:33And that's what...
34:34Oh, Spolster's going to hit that green light special.
34:39See it right there.
34:42Yeah, Bona pulling it down.
34:44They're probably...
34:45Miami is probably going to win this one.
34:48Coach is challenged by Eric Spolster
34:50with the heat in front by three.
34:53Peacock NBA Monday is brought to you by Xfinity,
34:57proud partner of the NBA.
35:02The scenes of Miami.
35:04You just saw that a moment ago.
35:05We welcome you back inside Kaseya Center.
35:08What was the call?
35:10So, you can see it right there.
35:12Pella Larson, Bona.
35:15So, we've got an unsuccessful challenge.
35:18Look at that.
35:19Larson trying to block out on the inside.
35:27The call is foul on Larson.
35:30Interesting.
35:31And so, it's an unsuccessful challenge.
35:33No challenges the rest of the way for Miami.
35:37Both of these coaches are good on their challenges.
35:39Success rate, Nick Nurse is fifth,
35:41and Eric Spolster is seventh.
35:4369% this year, but misses on that one.
35:47Into the middle of the defense for a free-throw line.
35:49Jay, good for Embiid.
35:51So, gets to the zone and beat is great.
35:53In the middle of the floor.
35:58Wiggins ran it down along the baseline.
36:04Mitchell held out of the paint by Grimes on the drive.
36:07Pass to Fontecchio.
36:08Turnover.
36:09Yeah, Mitchell got sped up on that play.
36:12Really short-handed point guard
36:14when it comes to the assist-to-turnover ratio.
36:18To that point, fifth in the league,
36:204.2-1 is assist-to-turnover ratio.
36:22Yeah, usually you don't see him get sped up.
36:24He got sped up on that play.
36:27With his defensive ability,
36:29usually he's the guy speeding up.
36:30Exactly.
36:31Someone else, but a lost ball here by Mitchell.
36:39Miami despite their pace,
36:40a low-turnover team this year.
36:43Six fewest in the league.
36:46Embiid blocked by Wiggins.
36:49Embiid got it back.
36:51Underneath, Dominic Barlow scores.
36:53I love Dominic Barlow.
36:55The way he plays,
36:56he is so smart about playing off of the stars of Philadelphia.
37:01His two-way deal has been converted to a standard contract.
37:05Had a really nice season.
37:06Barlow averages eight points,
37:08five rebounds, 24 minutes a game.
37:1157 starts for Philly this year as well, Scout.
37:14Yeah, I think he's been excellent,
37:16and he really fits that role.
37:21Still a very young player, 22 years old.
37:25Time with the Spurs, time with the Hawks.
37:27Fourth season in the league,
37:29and Philly has been a positive point.
37:33Embiid draws into the defender.
37:36Low clock, Twinton Grimes has to let it fly.
37:38He hits it.
37:39And that all starts with Max's patience against the clock.
37:43He knows exactly how much two seconds in
37:46as he springs that ball out.
37:52Piro, step back three.
37:56And it's Tyrese Max.
37:57He grabs the rebound,
37:58and will push the tempo.
38:00He's got Larson back up.
38:01Gero's into paint recovery by Andrew Wiggins.
38:05Miami in transition.
38:08Gero to the serve.
38:12Gero from the corner.
38:15Ubray had it knocked away, but secures it.
38:17That's the Embiid factor.
38:19Gero had a layup,
38:20but he didn't want to challenge Embiid at the basket.
38:21Oh, Biggins.
38:23Quick fade away from Max.
38:25He is on the money.
38:26It is so tough.
38:28And now the run is nine straight.
38:32Looking for a run stopper.
38:34It's a quarter jumper missed by Wiggins,
38:35but it's going to be tapped back to it,
38:37and he glides to the basket to score
38:39and stop Philly's run.
38:40Yeah, excellent job by Piro Larson,
38:42kicking that ball out
38:43on the back tap off the offensive board.
38:51Embiid with 12 to shoot hot.
38:53Backing down over Wiggins.
38:55The shot rolls home.
38:57It's amazing how he could be so physical
39:00and have such soft touch.
39:02Very Yoke-ish-like.
39:0413 in the game for Embiid.
39:06Paul George leads Philly with 14.
39:09Rennell 3, Keller Larson.
39:13They're, Miami's letting Joel Embiid
39:15off the hook on the defensive end.
39:17They were engaging him early.
39:20Now they're settling for long shots.
39:22Meanwhile, at the other end,
39:23they engage Embiid on offense,
39:25and he goes to work inside.
39:27Biles got two fouls,
39:29and another foul is called here.
39:31Chief Ben Taylor blows the whistle
39:33with 4-0-1 left in the second quarter.
39:37I'm going to tell you,
39:38you can't put your hands on Embiid
39:40because he'll flop.
39:42So watch how Bam just has to back up
39:44and eventually gives ground.
39:46Now he's standing with a 7-1 guy
39:49in the restricted area
39:50with a soft touch.
39:52And let's take a look at that.
39:55Physical, and yet,
39:57look at that.
39:58Right on the rim.
40:01Play Embiid is so tough to stop.
40:03You want to be physical.
40:04You want to stand your ground.
40:06If you want to give him a body,
40:07he'll fall down,
40:08and he'll get two free throws out of it.
40:11In that case, by the way,
40:12the foul is on Damian Mitchell,
40:14so it's no foul trouble.
40:16In that particular case for Adebayo,
40:19who has two,
40:20doesn't pick up a third.
40:21It's Mitchell's first.
40:24And Embiid on the free throw line.
40:27.14 just scored.
40:28He's 3-4-3 at the strike tonight.
40:3185.5% of big.
40:33He shoots free throws well.
40:3483 for his career,
40:3585 this year.
40:36Yeah.
40:37He won MVP for a reason.
40:39It's really tough to keep away from spots
40:42that he wants to get to on the floor.
40:43He just saw that soft touch.
40:46Physically, he can get to the paint
40:47and score it.
40:50Another mistake by Miami.
40:51See, the first quarter,
40:53Miami controlling tempo.
40:55This second quarter,
40:56it's like they let go of the rope.
40:58Go, go, go, go.
40:59Philly has bench contributions,
41:01some grimes,
41:02and Oubre,
41:03and Bona from a scoring perspective.
41:05Paul George continued a hot streak
41:07at the beginning of the quarter.
41:09Embiid's been inserted on offense
41:11here in the middle of the quarter.
41:15Low clock steps to a double.
41:17The base is up,
41:18Embiid no good.
41:23Bam.
41:24On a quick drive.
41:26Looking to create space,
41:27Embiid stay down.
41:30Around the horn,
41:31show and go.
41:32Pella Larson against Edgecombe.
41:35Hero.
41:36Got away from Paul George.
41:38Should six-axe get the way to score?
41:40Well done.
41:41Ridiculous skill set by Tyler Hero.
41:44Taking off three Philadelphia defenders.
41:48A dozen of the game for Hero.
41:51How many points out of Biome has as well?
41:54Lead is 5-4 Philadelphia.
41:58Edgecombe,
41:59one of the highlights of the night
42:00with an hour finish in the first quarter.
42:02Puts up a jumper.
42:07Good road team Philly this year.
42:0820 wins,
42:1016 losses.
42:12Away from Philly.
42:14Barlow defending.
42:16Autobio gave it up.
42:20Hero's first drive attempt
42:21and second.
42:22Stopped by Quentin Grimes.
42:24Will it move at his feet well?
42:25Good defense here by Grimes.
42:26Late shot.
42:27Clark, he has to put it up.
42:28No go.
42:30Offensive rebound.
42:31Mitchell pushed up.
42:33No go.
42:33Hawkins falls for Pella.
42:35Larson.
42:35And on the doorstep,
42:36it takes a second try
42:37for Larson to score.
42:39Now, Miami's a team
42:40playing with that energy.
42:44Here comes another timeout.
42:45Good job by Nick Nurse.
42:47Well, the all-important
42:49close to the quarter.
42:50Who will close the quarter?
42:52Well, Miami gaining some ground right now.
42:56Peacock NBA Monday.
42:58We're underway here,
43:00Miami and Philly
43:01at 8-12 Eastern Time.
43:02Tip-off of Chicago and San Antonio.
43:05Scout.
43:06San Antonio has won
43:07eight in a row.
43:09Victor Wimbenyama and company,
43:1024 of their last 26.
43:13Bear in mind,
43:14they have the tiebreaker
43:15over the Thunder,
43:15and there's just a two-game gap
43:17in the loss column
43:18for the number one seed.
43:18You know, they're going for it,
43:20that's for sure.
43:20Why not?
43:21They should be.
43:22They're playing as good
43:23a basketball
43:24as anybody in the league.
43:26And Wimbeny,
43:27if he's playing 30,
43:2932 minutes,
43:30and he's out there
43:31not tired,
43:32man,
43:32I don't know a better
43:33player in the league right now.
43:35I know there's a lot
43:36to talk about the MVP.
43:38To me,
43:39when I watch him bright,
43:39he's my MVP.
43:42Miami and Philly,
43:43both teams shooting
43:44in the 30s percentage-wise
43:45here in the second quarter.
43:46Hella Larson,
43:47open look from deep,
43:48no good.
43:49Maxey rebounds.
43:50Had a chance to tie the game.
43:53Did it up and down
43:54first half for Miami,
43:55but they've got a chance
43:56to make up some ground
43:57here late in the first half.
43:58They get a stop
43:59with the fadeaway missed
44:00by Maxey.
44:01Watch Bam right here,
44:02sprinting the floor.
44:03They've got to attack Embiid.
44:07Jaquez,
44:08deep into the paint.
44:10Last 90 seconds
44:11of the half.
44:13Davion Mitchell,
44:14probing,
44:15looking,
44:15driving,
44:16keeps a live dribble.
44:18Finds Jaquez,
44:19challenged by Embiid
44:20and missed.
44:22Embiid had a huge block
44:23in the corner
44:24on a shot like that
44:25by Brandon Miller
44:26with seven seconds left
44:27on Saturday night's game.
44:28Sealed the game,
44:29great block by Embiid.
44:32No block there,
44:33but a really good challenge
44:34on that three
44:34from Jaquez.
44:35Here's a drive,
44:36a stutter step
44:37in the paint.
44:38Maxey gave it up.
44:39Paul George missed
44:39on the corner three.
44:41Maxey dropped.
44:42Pass ahead.
44:43Adebayo,
44:44to Pella Larson.
44:45Nice finish.
44:47Man,
44:47he just elevated
44:48from outside the paint.
44:50That time,
44:50the Euro step
44:51around Embiid
44:52going right over the top.
44:55Eight for him.
44:56Larson averages
44:5711 a game this year,
44:5813 a game
44:58since the All-Star break.
45:01Now here's
45:02a quick spin move
45:03and finish
45:03with the left,
45:04Dominic Barlow.
45:05Yeah,
45:06Embiid was at the top
45:07of the key,
45:07so if somebody else
45:08was going to play
45:09that middle,
45:10Barlow made an excellent
45:12move at the basket.
45:15See if Miami
45:16can create
45:17the two for one
45:17here at the end
45:18of the quarter.
45:19They do,
45:19another score.
45:20Pella Larson
45:21that time for Marquez.
45:23Yeah,
45:23I like the way
45:24Miami responded
45:25since the timeout.
45:28Stopping a score
45:28and they can take
45:29the lead
45:29into the locker room
45:31at halftime.
45:34Difference is five seconds.
45:37Both teams have a foul
45:38to give here
45:38at the end of the quarter.
45:40Maxey surveys the scene.
45:42Drive, stops,
45:43dishes,
45:44Edgkamp.
45:45Low clock.
45:46Off balance
45:46and fouled
45:47in the act
45:48of shooting.
45:49Tyler Hero
45:49wants him to challenge
45:51and of course
45:51they can't.
45:52They've used
45:53to challenge
45:54unsuccessfully
45:55here in the second quarter.
45:56So watch this play.
45:58Edgkamp drives
45:59to close out,
46:00gets ahead.
46:01Yeah,
46:02that's enough
46:02body contact.
46:03You're going to get
46:04that call
46:04in this league.
46:09Spokes are saying
46:10he backed up
46:11into him
46:12but it's no different
46:13than any star player
46:14getting to his spot
46:15and then trying
46:16to get contact.
46:17First of two,
46:18good for Vijay Edgkamp.
46:19He's in double figures now
46:21as we look ahead
46:21to the upcoming

46:46offline to beat the buzzer.
46:50Well,
46:51good response
46:52from Miami.
46:53They lost it there
46:54for a minute
46:55but they got back
46:56on track.
46:57Heat have led
46:58by as many as 13.
47:0076ers have led
47:01by as many as seven.
47:03Currently,
47:04the advantage three
47:05for Philly
47:06at the interval
47:07here on Peacock NBA Monday.
47:0976ers 61,
47:11Heat 58
47:12and Jordan Cornett
47:14is joined now
47:15by Paul George
47:16who had 14 points
47:17in the first half
47:18for Philadelphia.
47:19PG,
47:20only your third game back.
47:21You seem to be
47:21in midseason form.
47:22What's clicking for you?
47:24He's playing basketball,
47:25playing confident.
47:27I'm in good shape.
47:28My body feels great
47:28so I just feel the confidence
47:30to go out and do things.
47:31Playoff-like atmosphere
47:33in this one
47:33with what's on the line
47:34for both teams.
47:35What's it going to take
47:35for you guys to steal one
47:37on the road
47:37in the second stanza?
47:38We just got to stay poised.
47:39Stay poised.
47:40They're playing fast.
47:41Last couple games,
47:42teams have been playing
47:43with a high tempo.
47:44This team, I believe,
47:45is number one in pace
47:46so we just got to weather that,
47:47get back,
47:48get our defense set
47:49and continue to just play,
47:51you know,
47:52just great offensive basketball.
47:54We're moving it,
47:54guys are touching it
47:55and because of that
47:56we're getting good open shots.
47:58We'll get your break, man.
47:58We'll see you in the second half.
47:59Appreciate it.
48:00Paul George, for now,
48:01we'll send it back
48:01to the boys in studio.
48:03Ahmed.
48:03Back to Miami
48:05and coverage of Peacock NBA Monday,
48:07Philadelphia 76ers
48:08and Miami Heat.
48:10Philly 61, Miami 58
48:12with the third quarter
48:13about to start.
48:13Hi, everyone.
48:14Mark Folliwell,
48:15Brian Scalabrini,
48:16Jordan Cornett
48:16will join us in a moment.
48:18So Philadelphia
48:18had their big three back
48:20for Saturday's game
48:21against Charlotte.
48:22As you pointed out
48:23at the beginning of the game,
48:24it's the first time
48:24that all three
48:25had scored more than 25
48:27in a game
48:27and a couple of those guys
48:29are on their way
48:30to another 25-point effort
48:31and Maxie may join in.
48:32Their stars are coming through
48:33here in the first half.
48:34And the way they're doing it,
48:36the 14 assists
48:37and only one turnover.
48:39Stars playing within a role.
48:41That is dangerous,
48:42especially the way
48:43they're moving the ball.
48:44The skill level's off the chart,
48:45but look at this.
48:46Keep on working that ball.
48:49Don't take a good shot,
48:50take a great shot.
48:52Look at the patience here
48:53as they try
48:54and Paul George
48:55knocking him down.
48:57So you have the big three
48:58playing with pace,
48:59they're playing with patience,
49:00and they're not
49:01turning the ball over.
49:02Philly's offense
49:03looks great right now.
49:04Now before the third quarter starts,
49:06let's get the Miami perspective
49:08with more.
49:09Here's Jordan Cornette.
49:10Jordan.
49:11Coming out of the halftime locker room
49:12had a chance to talk to
49:13associate head coach
49:14for Miami Heat,
49:15Chris Quinn,
49:16and he said,
49:17look,
49:17the messaging was
49:18we were running with pace
49:19and playing with tempo,
49:20and we were succeeding
49:21in the first quarter.
49:22Got away from it,
49:23started operating the half court,
49:24and when we do that,
49:25it's advantage the 76ers.
49:27We've got to look to run
49:28with every opportunity,
49:29kind of what Scowl
49:30was talking about
49:31in that first half.
49:32Additionally,
49:33he said defensively,
49:34you've got to run guys
49:35off the three-point line,
49:36make them drivers.
49:37That needs to be
49:38defensive focus, fellas.
49:40Will Jordan,
49:40he had a great interview
49:41with Paul George
49:42at the end of the first half,
49:43and PG pointed out
49:46their tightening up
49:47transition defense-wise
49:48was a big component
49:49of the second quarter.
49:50So let's see how
49:51the chess match unfolds
49:53here in the second half
49:53with Philly starting out
49:55on offense.
49:56A pass of a feed
49:57to Barlow
49:57broken up by Batch,
49:59and on a bio,
50:00drives and spins
50:01and draws a foul
50:02and will immediately
50:03head to the free-throw line
50:0523 seconds deep
50:06into the third quarter.
50:07Yeah, I don't know
50:08if they have any other
50:09option to win this game
50:11unless they push
50:12the basketball.
50:12This is off a turnover.
50:14Look at Bam,
50:15highly skilled
50:15in the open court,
50:17gets fouled,
50:18and he'll get two
50:18out of it.
50:19What a great way
50:20to start with a stop
50:21and a transition opportunity.
50:24And a quick foul
50:25on Paul George,
50:27which is his third foul
50:28of the game.
50:30Man, I really
50:31should have asked
50:31Bolster,
50:32like when you go
50:33through the slumps
50:34where you're not
50:35pushing the ball,
50:36when you're scoring
50:3711 points
50:38in the fourth quarter
50:39like they did
50:40the other night
50:40against Indiana,
50:42could you just
50:42sub a guy out
50:43and say,
50:44if you're not gonna run,
50:45we're not gonna win,
50:46and I can't play you
50:48if you're not running.
50:49So, it feels like
50:50they need that level
50:52of urgency,
50:53especially late
50:54in the year
50:54when these guys
50:55are all playing
50:56for something.
50:56Boul change
50:57to Tyrese Maxey,
50:58by the way.
50:59So he's on three fouls
51:00on George.
51:01He's still on two.
51:02Max.
