Producers across the state voice their concerns about possible fuel shortages resulting from the war in the Middle East.

00:00We don't have a market here for our sales stock. We have to go into New South Wales.
00:04It's a long journey and the profit margin on selling those stock is going to be extremely
00:08reduced or we may not be able to transport at all, which will result in us becoming overstocked
00:15in this area. There'll be a huge amount of trucks parked up and a lack of ability to deliver our
00:21freight. Probably just transportation for food, transportation for cattle, getting cattle to and
00:27from the market, it's going to affect us a lot and it's going to put the price and everything up.
00:33Obviously the cost, the cost of fuel and the actual supply, if we can get supply. It hasn't
00:38been too bad out here, but the price is the biggest problem out here.
00:42We don't tend to find it goes up quicker than it ever goes down. So yeah, I think it will
00:48be an issue for at least a year or so or maybe longer.
