00:03The brand is called Waifu Wear. I am wearing the waifu.
00:07Okay. And what came up with the concept? What were you doing and just suddenly said,
00:11I gotta have this shirt, I gotta have apparel, I gotta do this?
00:13It was my first convention I ever went to, Phoenix Comic Con 2015.
00:17And I took my little cousin and I was wearing a plain white t-shirt.
00:20And when I got there, I was just like, mind blown. I was like, yo, this is like all the
00:23things that I love.
00:23I love. And so I wrote that in permanent marker on my t-shirt and rocked it.
00:27And people loved it so much, I trademarked it.
00:29What do people think it is and not what it is? What do they, what do they, what do you
00:33think?
00:33Sometimes they think it's water, sometimes they think it's Wi-Fi.
00:35Some deep, it's like a booty and stuff like that?
00:37Yeah, but waifu is anime slang for wifey.
00:40Okay.
00:40That's all it is, anime slang for wifey and anime girls.
00:43Real life anime girls, you know what I mean? 2D, 3D, pillows, toys, all that stuff.
00:47Now, do you have a lot of women buying it or are there guys that want them?
00:51Both.
00:51Like that, you know. And then so, for your brand now, where do you want to keep taking it?
00:57I want to get a heavier presence online.
01:01I'm like, I am old school as far as I love being in person, boots on the ground, organic growth.
01:09Yeah.
01:10But the next step is really getting a handle on online sales and marketing and stuff like that.
01:16Because that stuff is like foreign to me.
01:17You need to partner with one of these artists because if someone can do that.
01:20I have an artist that I'm partnering with.
01:22Because I can see some of these anime characters wearing your shirt.
01:26Yeah.
01:26That would be something dope.
01:27That would be something really, like, you know.
01:29Yeah, that would be, oh, yeah.
01:30Yeah, give me a couple of those.
01:31Those are dope.
01:34You have a couple of them I can have?
01:36What was that?
01:37You have a couple of them I can have?
01:38Oh, these are, I have to charge for these.
01:40Okay, okay.
01:40That's what I'm saying.
01:41That's definitely, definitely how you make it come to life and stuff.
01:44You know what I mean?
01:45Yeah, thank you.
01:46When you're here, what are your goals?
01:48Are your goals just more brand awareness?
01:49Or are you actually just putting more sales?
01:52Both.
01:53Brand awareness and sales.
01:54You know what I mean?
01:55We all have to make money, right?
01:56But definitely brand awareness and connecting with people and telling them the story of how
02:00the brand started.
02:01But definitely brand awareness.
02:03You know what I mean?
02:04When you're doing good work, you know, sales come.
02:06So definitely I more focus on brand awareness and sales when I come to these things.
02:10Now, my question, the last question is, have you taken it overseas?
02:13Have you taken this?
02:15Have you come with these?
02:16White floor is actually trademarked in South Korea, China, and Japan.
02:19And here in the States.
02:20But have you taken, but have you gone and done a con over there yet?
02:23I've sold overseas, but I have not been to a con overseas yet.
02:25So you need to go to China Joy.
02:27China Joy is like their Comic Con, you know what I mean?
02:29You know, China Joy or Tokyo Game Show like that, you know what I mean?
02:33And then they have Anime Expo.
02:35Their stuff is like so regular over Japan, literally every other month they have on, you know what I mean?
02:39But what I'm saying is they have some really big ones, you know.
02:42But it might be a way, if you go to brand up with like Bandicoat,
02:44there might be a brand that wants to work with you and bring you over, you know what I mean?
02:48That'd be great.
02:48And then they have a shirt giveaway, you know what I mean?
02:50That'd be great.
02:50You know, like that, you know.
02:51So it might be something, you know, something that would go, that's complimentary, you know what I mean?
02:56And since you have the licenses, that would help them more because then they would know
02:59they could market in Korea, Japan, and South Japan, and China too.
03:04That's really good advice.
03:05Got that.
03:06All right, then we'll see you so much.
03:08Okay.
03:08Appreciate you Bunny Train.
03:09All right.
03:09Yeah, thank you.
03:10Peace.
03:11Oh, tell me where they can find it.
03:12Tell me where they can get the stuff out there.
03:13Find me at Instagram, where to waifu.
03:15Find my brand at waifuwear.
03:18My website, where to waifu.com.
03:20My brand's website, waifuwear.com.
03:22Gotcha.
03:23Okay.
03:23Thank you guys.
