00:00I'm Josh from Solosis and these are my four favorite metal albums
00:05I'm gonna go for And Justice For All by Metallica. My older sister's boyfriend when I was a kid
00:11handed me a CD of that record because I was into Slipknot and he was like check this out. Just
00:16an
00:16absolute riff fest so that's got to be up there for me. Number two I'm gonna pick Iowa by Slipknot.
00:22I remember when I was a kid being really into Korn and into Life Is Peachy and then when Follow
00:28The
00:28Leader came out when they sort of blew up I remember just kind of feeling like oh it's not
00:32quite as heavy not as intense and then Slipknot came out love them and then they got massive off
00:37that first record so I was kind of expecting like the next one to be like oh I hope it's
00:41not just
00:42more tame and it was so much heavier and more intense and more death metal vibes and I just
00:47remember as a fan just being like this is the coolest thing ever so I love that record super
00:51heavy super intense definitely one of my favorite albums ever. Up next I'm gonna pick Arise by
00:56Sepultura again another record that is just full of riffs and somewhat of a blueprint for what
01:03Solosis does in some ways just loads of different vibes they had some of that kind of influence from
01:08the hardcore scene as well as just tons of thrash and death metal and lastly I'm gonna pick Symbolic by
01:13Death yeah the production's great again just full of riffs it's a bit more progressive but just so many
01:19riffs and I just love good riffs and it's just full of them so that's it that's my pick
01:24."
