00:00Yo, what's up everyone? I'm Danny from Bury Tomorrow and these are four metal albums that I like.
00:07Slipknot, Iowa. Oh, what an obvious one for everybody. It's really unknown. I don't know
00:11if people know the band Slipknot, but they are pretty big. They're pretty well known now. But
00:16no, Iowa was one of the best, I think is still one of the best metal albums of all time
00:20that
00:20has ever been and will ever be. So it's one of my favorites. Slightly left field one for number two
00:25is more in a hardcore genre, but La Dispute Wildlife is one of my favorite albums. Lyrically,
00:31it's one of the best albums I think out there in the alternative scene. I actually have the lyrics
00:36from King Park, Tattooed in My Stomach, and they're the only band's lyrics that I have other than my
00:40own. How narcissistic. Another incredible metal album, I think for our genre specifically, was
00:48Killing With a Smile by Parkway Drive. It was a great album that kind of introduced our band
00:52into the metalcore world as it was. And bands like Parkway Drive defined the genre. It was amazing
00:58to see how they could kind of blend hardcore and metal music together in a more commercial way,
01:03which was great. And slightly more of the alternative side of things is Alexis on Fire Crisis.
01:08Our band is kind of a blend of very heavy music and quite light music. And Alexis on Fire did
01:14that
01:14perfectly in the post hardcore scene for a long, long, long time. And still those albums,
01:19well, all of their albums remain some of the best in circulation in the alternative genre.
