What is the reward for someone who leaves their home and comforts purely for the sake of Allah? In Sahih al-Bukhari 36, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) explains the divine guarantee given to those who strive in His cause.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Allah guarantees that He will admit the Mujaahid (who goes out in His Cause) into Paradise if he is killed, otherwise He will return him to his home safely with rewards and war booty."

Key Lessons & Insights:

The Sincerity Clause: The Hadith specifies that this reward is for the one who goes out "driven by nothing but belief in Allah and His Apostles." If the intention is for fame or worldly gain, the guarantee does not apply.

The Divine Guarantee: Allah takes it upon Himself to ensure the striver is never a "loser." Whether they return home with success or achieve martyrdom and enter Paradise, they are victorious.

A Longing for Martyrdom: The Prophet (ﷺ) expresses his own deep desire to be martyred and brought back to life to strive again, showing the incredibly high rank of this act of worship.

Why this is in the "Book of Belief": It proves that Iman is not static; it drives a person to action, bravery, and self-sacrifice for the truth.
