00:47Hamaker has all the work to do, where is Seth? There he is there.
00:51Seth was close there in the start, but the problem is, if you're coming into these right-hand first corners,
00:56it's tough to break and turn at the same time.
01:02And when you do that, it allows other guys to sneak up the inside if you get into the first
01:06corner too hot.

01:15He's going to make contact with Evan Ferry.

01:25Talked about Evan getting a good start in these heat races and giving that chance to run up with the

01:36Now, is tonight the night, we've seen this over the years with Nate Thrasher,
01:40there'll be a breakout moment along the course of the season, right?
01:43And really, tonight needs to be that night for Nate Thrasher.
01:47Well, and he is one of those guys, Lee, that can come out here and win.
01:51He's done it.
01:52I mean, he's beat all the best guys in the 250 class.
01:54Jet Lawrence, Hunter Lawrence, and these showdown races, and triple crown.
02:00So he is, he's certainly capable of coming out here and dominating tonight like what he's doing right now.
02:05Just hasn't been able to do that in the last couple years.
02:09He's fought some injuries, but the potential is there.
02:12Because all of the talk, obviously, and understandably, is about Hayden Deegan, Cole Davies, Michael Moseman before his injury.
02:19Michael was having a terrific season.
02:21And he talked about the teenager in Caden Dudney.
02:24And there's been lots of talk about everybody else other than Nate.
02:28So now is tonight going to be his moment.
02:30Well, and it's been that way every year, I feel like.
02:33Everybody knows that he has the speed to win.
02:36But, you know, he's just had, you know, a couple fumbles along the way.
02:41Look at Hamaker.
02:43Talk about progress.
02:44He is whipping through and making these passes very efficiently, effectively.
02:49Simonson is next on his list.
02:51And you heard, you heard about what Cole Davies said, how the track was slick.
02:57Now these guys are probably drying up a little bit and they're able to move around a lot more, especially
03:01Seth Hamaker will.
03:04Yeah, we see the intensity that Seth has now as he starts to push to the front there and try
03:08to get past Devin Simonson.
03:10Talking to Seth earlier, this has been a very intentional thing.
03:14He's happy with his late race pace.
03:17But he said, trying to find that balance between staying out of trouble.
03:20We saw that replay early on there in the early laps.
03:23Staying out of trouble and keeping the intensity.
03:26And staying out of trouble as he goes down.
03:29That balance has been difficult for him, Lee and Ricky.
03:32And there we see it bite him.
03:33That is a lucky escape.
03:35That could have been really nasty.
03:37Yeah, I mean, he definitely hit hard.
03:40That was absolutely brutal.
03:42And it happened so quick.
03:44Again, like I said, Hunter Lawrence talked about how going through the rhythm lanes, this dirt is very sticky.
03:52And it's going to become challenging.
03:54And let's see what happens.

04:46These two guys, they're only five points apart from each other in the championship standings.
04:52They both have a best result of six.
04:55For Cody's shot, every one of his four results this year has been in the top ten.
04:59Devin Simonson missed the top ten just once.
05:02So this is a really good intra-team rivalry.

05:05And you can tell they're probably doing a lot of the same stuff at Club MX because they, like you
05:10just talked about,
05:11they're marrying their finishes.

05:21So looking a little further down the order, Evan Ferry, Gavin Towers, Marshall Welton, Luke Nees, they are all in
05:27the top nine.
05:29So they're all going straight through to the main as we stand here right now with just 40 seconds remaining.
05:34And this would be big for Hamaker if he is able to get by Benick and Simonson just for that
05:41gate position.
05:42Six points back out of the championship.
05:44He's going to go right by Benick, gets a better drive out of the corner, carries more entry speed into
05:50the Wolves, and off he goes.
05:51Now he's going to set his sights on Simonson.
05:53And I believe if he can just stay right here, he'll be able to get Simonson in the same spot
05:59that he did get Benick if it doesn't happen to Corhan.
06:03If he isn't able to make the move in this rhythm lane right here, it's going to get pretty narrow
06:07up until they get before the Wolves.
06:09This is where it came undone for him a little earlier with that overjump.
06:13A lot more rhythmic that time.
06:15As Seth Hamaker gets by Devin Simonson.
06:19Yeah, Simonson clipped the backside of that tabletop, wasn't able to triple, and Hamaker was.
06:25That's how he was able to make the pass.
06:27Great comeback for Seth.
06:34Man, these Wolves here tonight, you can see right there just briefly, they were going to be the tail of
06:40the tape and the separator,
06:41but they have somewhat evened out, which if you're not good at the Wolves, you're probably really happy about that.
06:47But if you go up a guy like Cole Davies, it takes a massive advantage out of what you would
06:53have had against your competitors.
06:55And an even playing field.
