SAN FRANCISCO DE MACORÍS – La Oficina Judicial de Servicios de Atención Permanente del Distrito Judicial de Duarte dictó este martes tres meses de prisión preventiva como medida de coerción contra tres hombres acusados de tortura y barbarie en perjuicio de un joven con discapacidad mental.

Los imputados, identificados como Eduardo Francisco Genao (alias "Moharra"), Roberto Contreras Herrera (alias "Robertico" u "Ovacón"), y Aladino Félix Altagracia (alias "Taguán"), son señalados por un incidente ocurrido en el municipio de Arenoso. Según las investigaciones preliminares, el grupo habría agredido severamente a la víctima con el objetivo de despojarlo de la suma de 500 pesos.

El Ministerio Público, representado en la audiencia, calificó el hecho como "atroz", destacando la vulnerabilidad de la víctima y la gravedad de las lesiones infligidas.

A su salida del tribunal, el principal acusado, Eduardo Francisco Genao, proclamó su inocencia a gritos frente a las cámaras, alegando que el verdadero responsable es un individuo apodado "Angelito".

"Yo soy un hombre de trabajo, yo no soy ningún delincuente. Esto es una maldad lo que nos están haciendo", expresó Genao visiblemente alterado mientras era custodiado por agentes policiales.

Por su parte, familiares de los detenidos calificaron la decisión de la jueza como una "injusticia", argumentando que no existen pruebas contundentes ni videos que vinculen directamente a sus parientes con la agresión al joven indigente.

El caso ha generado gran consternación en la comunidad de Arenoso, donde la víctima es una persona conocida y apreciada por los residentes.
