00:07to the province of Duarte, where two people died.
00:10You are the uncle of one of the victims and you are the mother of one of them. Tell us about that.
00:14case.
00:15Well, to this day the authorities still haven't given us an answer about that event, a regrettable event.
00:24where there were two deaths, my nephew and a family friend.
00:30The authorities still haven't done anything about it. It's been a year and a month since then, and still nothing.
00:38The authorities have done nothing.
00:39So the person is echoing that, irresponsibly, they haven't faced us and we want justice
00:47with my nephew and a well-known friend of ours.
00:52Who is it?
00:54The person who committed the act is Juan Pablo Silverio. Here he is, right here in this photo.
01:04He is an airplane pilot.
01:06That man is from Santiago and, in an irresponsible manner, during an irresponsible overtaking maneuver, he hit my nephew.
01:15and he took his friend who was riding behind the engine.
01:18He took it away and messed it up in such a way that those boys were completely devastated, those boys were totally devastated.
01:25The authorities, I repeat, have not done anything to us, nothing at all in that case.
01:30I want the media, and everyone who receives this video, to share it with...
01:36Alicia Ortega, Marino Zapete, and all the media outlets, please help us find a way to achieve justice.
01:46to what we want, so that this death does not go unpunished.
01:49Because that man can still be walking around, running over young people, young people with a future, young people whose future tomorrow is uncertain.
01:57He can do it and he can continue in his own way. He can continue.
02:01Ma'am, to lose a child in such a regrettable, tragic accident, how has life been this year?
02:08For you?
02:08The worst thing that can happen to someone.
02:17Justice.
02:20You have given everything, you have followed all the procedures, there has been everything, you have tried to communicate with the person
02:26so that he can be held responsible for this case, and what has been the response?
02:29They haven't given us any kind of response, not at all, no response whatsoever.
02:35They are people, because they are wealthy people, it is possible that they may have bought off the authorities.
02:44Unfortunately, here in this country money flows freely and we still haven't received any kind of response, but
02:50We believe that man's justice does nothing, because we believe in divine justice, in the justice of
03:00God.
03:00And let's hope that one day justice can be done for our family members.
03:04How did you determine who it was? Did you conduct your own investigation or was it the authorities?
03:09We conducted our own investigation. The authorities arrived at the scene, but they didn't investigate very thoroughly, because the
03:17The man disappeared, the truck was completely wrecked there, and maybe that's why he didn't leave, because the truck
03:24It became unusable at the time.
03:26Thank you!
