00:00Dating in New York City is already hard, but now there's a new deal breaker.
00:04And no, it's not your height, it's not your salary, it's not what you look like,
00:07it's actually what borough you live in.
00:09More and more New Yorkers are saying they would never want to be,
00:12and now what we're calling an inter-borough relationship.
00:15We spoke to couples across the city, and a lot of them are agreeing
00:18that they want to keep their relationships local.
00:20Between New York City's unreliable trains and subways, expensive Ubers,
00:24what's supposed to be a simple date turns into a huge planning process
00:27for couples that don't live near each other.
00:29Because distance for people in New York City is not measured in miles,
00:32it's really measured in how many trains you have to take to get there.
00:35And yes, people online are saying that if you're dating someone from another borough,
00:39it's basically a long-distance relationship.
00:40I mean, a lot of the times you do have to pack a bag for the weekend,
00:43but we also spoke to a few couples that are willing to put in the work.
00:46And their piece of advice is that you have to love the person and love the city,
00:49because we all know traveling across New York City can take a lot of time and effort.
00:54So what do you think? Would you date someone from another borough?
