02:59We have all the standard things, we create them with very high quality, create a whole range of clothing.
03:07It's still pretty standard, you know, you put your jeans on, different kinds of shoes, etc.
03:13Everything meshes very, very well and stays together very, very well.
03:17But then we look at fashion, you know, how people want to actually wear clothes and actually appear in the
03:22game.
03:22So we do things like, you know, you can wear a short sleeve shirt over a long sleeve shirt, it
03:26takes care of all of that.
03:27You can, you know, choose different materials to do for yourself, many accessories, etc.
03:32But things like layering are very important in fashion.
03:35You know, so do you wear your t-shirt tucked into your jeans or over the top?
03:39Do you have your boxes, you know, showing out of the top of your jeans?
03:43Mix and match the accessories completely freely, make sure everything, you know, would act as if you're using it in
03:49real life.
03:50So you start to build up, you know, a tremendous range of assets that the players can take and use.
03:56But more importantly, they can really start to customize themselves and make unique versions of the clothing.
04:02So we just file the kind of the base stuff and they come in, pick and shoot us all the
04:07accessories, etc.
04:08And really start to craft the look that they want.
04:10Right down to the color of the stitching on the jeans or you want them stone washed.
04:16But then start to bring in the decal system again.
04:19Once again, the decals can be applied, you know, as something to the actual, you know, clothing of the game.
04:25And it looks like it's baked into the clothing. Once again, you're not an artist, but you can create very,
04:30very cool looking stuff.
04:33So you really go into town creating for the first time ever, you know, your own game character.
04:38It's not like anybody else has ever, but most importantly, it's very high quality user generated content.
04:45Even things like when you only give one mask, but people then create symbols and apply them to the masks.
04:50And they go completely overboard.
04:52You have no idea who you're going to see.
04:54Every single piece of clothing in the game can be fully customized with many, very, many layers.
04:59It's a very high quality kind of look.
05:04So this is kind of like, you know, a fun part of the game for many people is just creating.
05:08We're only showing the male character, we have a female character, all, you know, usable the same way.
05:14Once again, take that guy symbol, that clan symbol and apply it, you know, to clothing.
05:20So, people really can feel they can now, for the first time ever, make completely their own high quality character
05:26and take it into the game.
05:30The same thing with vehicles, you know, so we said, you know, okay, you can make your own character, you
05:35should be able to make your own vehicles as well.
05:37So once again, you know, we have many vehicles in the game-based ones.
05:40We built all a huge range of customization assets.
05:43You can fully customize, you know, your vehicles in the game as well.
05:46So, you know, it's not just about you and what you take into the game, it's about, you know, the
05:50weapons you have, the vehicles you drive, the music you listen to.
05:54You can create all of that, you know, as a game developer normally, right?
05:58And completely have your own unique look for you and your friends, you know, in the game.
06:04Once again, the same decal system is used as well, very, very easy to use.
06:07Just grab any of the decals that you or your friends have made.
06:09Very nice, simple Hughes interface and just grab them and drag them on, stretch them over.
06:18So, we have all the usual kind of, you know, under-the-hood performance options, et cetera, as well.
06:28So, there are a few driving games that offer this kind of, you know, functionality as well.
06:33But they tend to be just standalone, that's really what they're about.
06:36And we had to go out there and say, you know, those complete games had to just be a subset,
06:41really, of APB.
06:41You know, and...
06:50In terms of music, we'll talk about music.
06:52But basically, if you're driving this car, we're working with a company called Glass.FM.
06:57And basically, you can choose, you know, from your own music collection, what gets played out of your car as
07:02you're driving.
07:03That's a very, very important part, you know, if you want to have a persona in this game, you know,
07:07music's very, very important.
07:09And what we do is, and we don't transmit that music, you know, obviously we can do that because of
07:14bandwidth.
07:14But what we do do is, you know, if somebody else has that exact same track on, you know, on
07:19their MP3 collection, then we'll play that from that other person's machine.
07:23If they don't have it, we'll do matchmaking.
07:25So we say, do they have any other tracks by the same artist?
07:28If they don't have that, you know, do they have any general styles of the same kind of music?
07:36So, once again, players can, you know, create very, very high quality, fully customizable versions of vehicles in the game.
07:44And you will never see any two that are the same.
