00:00We've been really clear that we've recognised the cost of living isn't just a recent thing,
00:04it's been for many years families have been struggling, so the government has said it's
00:07the number one priority, we will take action, that's why on the 1st of April bills will
00:12come down and that's protected even though everything going on in the Middle East might
00:15worry your viewers. On the 1st of April bills will come down because of decisions the government's
00:19taken and we stand ready to take other action to support households at the end of that price
00:23cap period. What we're also saying today though is that this is a moment to learn the right
00:27lessons from the crisis to build a system that doesn't have the volatility of fossil fuels
00:32in it so that our consumers are protected now and in the future.
