00:17Monday night hoops in a showdown between Western Conference foes and two teams that look very
00:23different than they did to start the season one team that's seen the mountaintop riddled with
00:29injuries but fighting for playoff position and positioning in the play and another that's in
00:36rebuild mode with a young star who's been having a sensational rookie campaign tonight is the
00:45Dallas Mavericks take it on the Golden State Warriors and we welcome you inside American
00:51Airlines Center I'm Michael Grady alongside Brad Doherty Ashley Shabbat he joins us as well
00:56Warriors Mavericks and Brad will start with the Warriors they have some bodies back Porzingis is
01:01back Moody is back and they're still within striking distance from where they want to be in the play in
01:05yeah they got to play a smart basketball game tonight so Michael they got to take advantage of the size
01:09and to have court slow this basketball game down Dallas likes to get out and run slow that pace
01:14down keep them out of transition they like to get out and run speaking of the Mavericks and the guy
01:18spearheading that is Cooper flag he's having an outstanding rookie campaign what do you like
01:22about yeah he's a unicorn type player he is fantastic in every facet of the game I've been
01:27really impressed with his defensive effort tremendous shot blocker gets into the passing
01:32lanes ultra athletic and highly competitive he doesn't even know how good he's going to be
01:36when he gets a little more maturation he's going to be unbelievable right that's scary that's scary
01:41let's get to our starting lineups for this one and we'll begin with the Golden State Warriors
01:45D'Anthony Melton Brandon Pajemski Moses Moody Draymond Green and Christoph Porzingis is back in the lineup after
01:53missing Saturday's game with the back for the Mavericks it's Max Christie Najee Marshall there's that
01:59rookie Cooper flag alongside PJ Washington and Daniel Stafford I mentioned the play in picture right now the
02:08Warriors in that 10 spot but they're just a game and a half behind the nine seed the Portland Trail
02:15Blazers
02:15and just two games behind the LA Clippers and that's kind of a sweet spot if you're in that play
02:21in a race
02:21you want at least two opportunities to win one game to punch your ticket into the postseason
02:28once again no Stephen Curry for the Golden State Warriors he's missing his 22nd straight game with
02:36runner's knee but he is in the building I saw him back back in the back working out getting in
02:41some rehab so
02:42hopefully he's close our officials for this one Jason Goebel is our crew chief alongside Diedrich Taylor and Nate Green
02:52Gafford and KP on the center circle and we
02:55are underway both of these teams
02:58trying to snap three game losing streaks

25:08Learning on the defensive end is something i've been watching with cooper and he's just
25:12He's basketball savant like he picks things up very quickly
25:15And as he matures just as a young man
