00:04.
00:07.
00:30It's a fiesta once again.
00:48What a moment it was inside of the Frostbank Center to witness Victor's biggest shot of his young NBA career.
00:54The first go-ahead field goal in the final 10 seconds of the fourth quarter.
00:59Our overtime for the great one, number one, as the Spurs look to wrap up this two-game homestand with
01:04a win over the Indiana Pacers.
01:06Welcome to the floor, Jacob Tobey alongside Sean Elliott.
01:09That was some scene we witnessed a couple nights ago.
01:11Really was, and I can't lie.
01:13I mean, that shot made me really nervous, and I've got to say, that's a really gutsy, confident shot to
01:19run the clock down that low,
01:21and then decide to take the shot with about two seconds left or so left on the game clock.
01:26I mean, normally you want to go five or six seconds, give yourself a chance, but it seems to me
01:30Victor knew he was going to make it.
01:32Yeah, he made the right decision, the swish.
01:34Now, in terms of this game, Sean, no Steph Castle.
01:36He's out for the second straight game.
01:38We also just got word no Devin Vassell.
01:39He's out with hamstring tightness, so Dylan Harper's going to get his first career start.
01:43Yeah, and it's going to be all hands on deck because you can't be fooled by this Indiana Pacers record.
01:47They have some really good guard play, and so Dylan Harper's going to go out there and have to stay
01:52out of foul trouble
01:52and then perform the way he has on the offensive in the last two months.
01:56Spurs have been awesome all season long.
01:59That chemistry has been on display.
02:00Mitch Johnson talked about how close this team is after last win.
02:06It's a special group.
02:08Like, we've talked a lot this year.
02:10There's a combination of guys that have been here through some not as much winning.
02:16There's been some young guys that have been added very recently.
02:18There's been some older guys that we've added in the last year or two, and everybody's embracing each other
02:25and supporting each other and trying to push in the right direction, and that's powerful.
02:31Sean, it's been fun to watch this team get closer and closer through the season.
02:34It has.
02:35They've really grown well together, and I just love how the process is.
02:38It's now here.
02:39I mean, the future is here now.
02:40Absolutely.
02:41On the other side for the Pacers, a franchise-long 15-game losing streak entering this game.
02:45They've been one of the most banged-up teams in the NBA to struggle without Tyrese Halliburton and company.
02:50They've really struggled on the defensive end of the floor.
02:52If you look at their last 15 losses, nine times they've given up over 127 points.
02:56So they're not stopping anybody right now, but they are capable on the offensive end.
03:01All right, the Spurs are looking to win five straight games.
03:04They're 22 in their last 22.
03:07And the Pacers, again, 11 guys on the injury report coming into this game.
03:12But past Kelsey Ockham will play, it's the Spurs and the Pacers coming up next right here on FanDuel Sports
03:17Network.
03:19And the Pacers, final game of the two-game homestand, then back on the road for three.
03:23We take a look at the remaining schedule.
03:26The Spurs have been so good all season long.
03:30Six games at home, six games on the road, 12 remaining.
03:32And your favorite graphic, the fifth easiest schedule remaining in the NBA.
03:37More importantly, the magic number to clinch home court advantage in the first round is three.
03:42So this is a game our guys can't afford to squander tonight.
03:45I'd like to see them come out again.
03:46We talked about it with the appropriate amount of energy.
03:48And it's kind of sad, Jacob.
03:51After tonight, only five more left at the Frostbake Center for us anyways.
03:55Well, now I'm crying.
03:57We'll take a break, reset, and bring in the game.
04:00The Spurs and the Pacers coming up next.
04:03Wow.
04:05By Frostbake, exactly what you unexpected.
04:08And by H-E-B.
04:10Here, everything's better.
04:14Vic took the mic, screamed loudly into it.
04:17Kelvin addressed the crowd as well after the Spurs beat the Suns by one on the biggest shot of Victor's
04:24career.
04:24And we'll remember that game probably for the rest of our lives.
04:27Everybody was in a great mood as they should have been.
04:29Just an amazing performance.
04:31Another great comeback win.
04:33Rewarding all the fans that continue to stay in their seats and believe in this ball club.
04:38And like I said earlier, it's just nice to see that the process is finally complete.
04:44For his events into 24-11 in clutch games, third-best record when it gets tight.
04:50Take a look at the Pacers starting lineup.
04:52Again, this team has lost 15 consecutive games.
04:56A franchise-long losing streak under head coach Rick Carlisle, Jairus Walker, Aaron Neesmith, Pascal Siakam, Quentin Jackson, Andrew Nembhardt.
05:03The starting five for Coach Carlisle.
05:05And for the Spurs, if you're just tuning in, no Steph Castle once again with the hip injury.
05:10We just got word that Devin Vassell's out with right hamstring tightness.
05:13So that means Dylan Harper gets his first career NBA start.
05:18Yeah, and like we've talked about before, especially over the last couple months, that if he's on any other team
05:23in this league, most likely he's a starter.
05:27Dylan's been really, really good the last 20 games.
05:29He's efficient from the field, excited to watch him get some starter minutes tonight.
05:3441st different starting lineup for the Pacers, the most in the NBA.
05:37And the Spurs have the second fewest at 11.
05:42Get a minus, Petrinus.
05:44One of our three officials throws it up.
05:45Victor and the Spurs win the tip.
05:47It's presented by Pizza Hut.
05:49And we're underway.
05:50The final game of a two-game homestand before the team goes out for three.
05:54See what kind of mindset our guys come out with this afternoon, or tonight rather, because this is a team
05:58that still plays with a lot of paces.
06:00Indiana Pacers fall for them.
06:02Eighth of the NBA in pace.
06:03They force the turnover there.
06:05Here comes Neesmith.
06:06There were 11 different players, Sean, listed on the injury report for Indiana coming into this game.
06:12And Jacob, what we've talked about again in the past, this is a time of year where you see a
06:17lot of upsets,
06:17because teams like Indiana, they have nothing to lose.
06:21Go out there, let the ball fly three-wheel a little bit.
06:25It's very comfortable.
06:26Almost beat Portland a couple of games ago.
06:3227-119 loss for them.
06:33They were in it to the very end.
06:35Fox up and under.
06:37Let's go down.
06:40Wayne Jackson driving.
06:43Shut off.
06:44Hard fall.
06:45Deflected out of bounds off of the Spurs.
06:50The pitch is getting a piece of ass.
06:52Dean, a current win with the block early.
06:56I'm sure.
07:00Let's see if they gave one or not.
07:04Leesmith shot off.
07:06Looks like they didn't give him a block.
07:09Leesmith creating space.
07:11Nope.
07:14Spurs have won four straight games.
07:1620 of their last 22.
07:18Wimbledon Yama.
07:19Oh, boy.
07:20Good idea.
07:25We'll see Ockham with the All-Star team this year.
07:30Spurs force a turnover.
07:32Dylan Harper, first career NBA start behind the back.
07:36Catch-to-ball movement.
07:37HP for three.
07:38There you go.
07:39Mr. 100%.
07:40Off to a terrific start.
07:42Good job, Brennan DeFlaura.
07:43I like how Dylan Harper takes care of the basketball there after the steal.
07:48Fourth of the NBA in corner threes.
07:49That's his 68th.
07:55Nembhard up and under.
07:57Andrew Nembhard.
07:58Six in the NBA in assists, but he scores there.
08:00They have really good guard there, like I said.
08:02Nembhard.
08:03Neesmith.
08:04Of course, TJ McConnell's going to come off the bench.
08:06He's very good.
08:07He's going to look up.
08:07So, you know how those guys roll in, Mark.
08:11Dylan Harper.
08:12The bucket.
08:15Siakam rejected.
08:16That counts as a block for Victor.
08:18Everybody's really close.
08:20Champagny up and under.
08:23Timeout for Carlisle.
08:24He is red hot.
08:26Scott Cardoski.
08:28He got right in his face with the official.
08:34The coach is still out.
08:37Mid-court.
08:39Oh, that's really close.
08:41He might need a top camera angle for that one.
08:43But it's going to count right now as a block.
08:45Defense to offense for the good guys.
08:50At the Ultra Club tonight.
08:53Another home game for the Spurs.
08:55They're 27-7 here inside.
08:57Of the Frostbanks center.
09:00Taco Palenque.
09:01Spurs game day combo.
09:02Make sure to fuel up with the game day combo.
09:04Enjoy fajita burrito.
09:05Chips and queso.
09:06And score free.
09:07Spurs cup featuring the Coyote.
09:08It's game day flavor done right.
09:10Only at Taco Palenque.
09:11The official fresh mix of the Spurs.
09:16Early timeout call by Rick Carlisle and the Pacers.
09:21See how they come out of it.
09:23In one basket.
09:24They're one of four.
09:25Walker.
09:26Beautiful finish.
09:27Harris Walker has gotten now the last 17 starts with all the injuries that have taken place.
09:31Yeah, really nice.
09:33Pull over the top move there from Walker.
09:35Finishing the vicinity of Victor Mignogla.
09:38Not bad.
09:39Fox.
09:41Barnes inside.
09:42Oh, a quick move from Victor.
09:45Yeah, and that's a small play there from De'Aaron Fox.
09:47Couldn't pass the ball over the top of the double team.
09:50Fires it into the corner.
09:51And Harrison Barnes with a pull to victory.
09:54Spurs ball!
09:55He's wanted to get it there.
09:56And as soon as the ball comes out, so does the help defender running out to the corner.
10:01And Victor gets himself an easy one.
10:02Then on the defensive end, it's the Fox.
10:06With the deflection off of Quinton Jackson.
10:11Dylan Harper.
10:13Shane Penny.
10:15On the drive.
10:16Got it!
10:19That's where Julian has to continue to expand his game.
10:22So many teams, especially come playoff time, are going to do their best to run him off the three-point
10:26line.
10:29Barnes the rebound.
10:33He'll bring it up.
10:38Harper.
10:41Doesn't use a screen from Victor.
10:43Just steps back.
10:44Wemby for three.
10:47Shane Penny offensive rebound.
10:49Steps out.
10:50No.
10:52Victor thought he was held.
10:55He had two guys boxing well at that time.
10:58Mentioned it should be.
10:59They're smart.
11:00Mentioned the pace that the Pacers play at.
11:02Eighth in the NBA.
11:03They want to be fast.
11:05They move the ball here.
11:06Jackson.
11:07Way off.
11:08That was a great five from Walker.
11:10Those shots.
11:10It's pretty much turbos to me.
11:14Unbelievable pass there.
11:16Four minutes in.
11:19Dylan Harper up and under.
11:21Yes.
11:22Right by Siakam.
11:23Put the right amount of English on that one.
11:26Excellent job using the rim as well to protect his shot.
11:30Walker.
11:31No.
11:32We saw Dylan get stuck last game when he tried to put too much English.
11:36Yeah, exactly.
11:36Reverse English.
11:38Here's Fox.
11:39The Speedy Fox.
11:42How about that little push dribble between two defenders and it catches up to the basketball.
11:48Not a lot of guys can do that.
11:49They don't have to speed and quickness to pull that one off.
11:52Siakam counted in a foul and then the right leg.
11:56Kind of an awkward landing.
11:59That was more of our jersey hold than it was a foul there.
12:05And then he pushes the ball out there between two defenders, catches up with it.
12:11Excellent effort there.
12:13With De'Aaron Fox.
12:15You see that.
12:16That's for the foul.
12:18And then an awkward stumble for Siakam who's still trying to walk it off here.
12:22It's the last thing the Pacers want to see is another guy injured, Sean.
12:27350 man games lost due to injury.
12:29Third most in the NBA behind Memphis and Oklahoma City.
12:33It's been a rough year for Rick Carlisle who was sitting on that 1,000th career win for quite some
12:37time when we saw him in early January.
12:40There's no question he's one of the all-time great coaches in this league.
12:44Won a championship in Dallas.
12:46Could have won a championship in Indiana as well.
12:48You never know.
12:49Cyrus Alley Burton doesn't get hurt in that game seven.
12:51He'd be talking about the continuing champions right here.
12:56Ben Shepard is in.
12:57KJ McConnell as well for Pacers.
13:00He'll be topping.
13:02Fournette in for the Spurs with Kelvin Johnson.
13:08McConnell.
13:10Siakam checks his feet.
13:11Thought about the three on the deck.
13:14And the touch is there for Siakam who made his fourth All-Star game earlier in February.
13:18He's a mid-range baster and he had a 50-point game in this building in 2020.
13:26Way back in the day.
13:27You see that, you have that kind of performance.
13:30You can always fall back on it.
13:332020, way back in the day.
13:35What are the 90s then?
13:37Barnes off the mark.
13:40Stoney.
13:42Stoney.
13:42Stoney, thought about it.
13:43Oh, he made McConnell fall.
13:46But he couldn't hit the three.
13:52Let's go.
13:54Siakam against Barnes.
13:55The fadeaway is good.
13:57Pascal Siakam.
13:5924 points per game.
14:00Of course, there's a Spurs to call a timeout.
14:02It's a tough matchup for anybody who has tremendous size, athleticism, and you see fancy footwork.
14:08Keep being energetic because the tag on turn.
14:12And, you know, I'm still going to be myself.
14:15So, when we start winning, y'all are always going to say KJ was the same person and the winner
14:20or losing.
14:24And that's what it's going to be.
14:26But we're going to start winning.
14:28So, it's just a matter of time.
14:30We're learning.
14:30We're getting better.
14:32And, Sean, they have started winning.
14:34KJ is so optimistic when it may have been a little bit harder to be optimistic during that time.
14:39And so, you credit the character of Kelvin Johnson and the guys in the locker room and, you know, top
14:45coaching staff at the time that continue to reinforce building the right habits and pounding the rock.
14:51And maybe come, you know, May and June, that rock's going to split in half.
14:57Right on cue.
14:58You can call the play-by-play.
14:59I'll let you do it.
15:02You could have called that one.
15:04I don't have those skills there.
15:08That three ends at 7-0 pace or run.
15:11Neesmith is checked in.
15:12Swishes for three.
15:13Or rather, he's a starter.
15:14But, nevertheless, one of their better three-point shooters.
15:18I saw him warming up before the ball game.
15:21Really good release.
15:22Nice rotation on his shot.
15:25Dylan Harper against Shepard.
15:27Fake spin passes out of it.
15:30Harrison Barnes.
15:32Can't use the glass.
15:33Top of the rebound.
15:34Here comes McConnell.
15:34The speedy quick backup point guard.
15:36Nice bounce pass.
15:37And blocked by Cornette.
15:39Cornette blocking Neesmith.
15:41And he's just didn't fade any separation there.
15:43Luke Cornette all over that one.
15:45And Keldon Johnson has hit two threes.
15:48You know, Keldon's threes, they just look effortless, right?
15:51It's like he just kind of saunters into three-point range.
15:55Let's it fly.
15:58Shepard responds and hits it.
16:00Well, the coaching staff, Sean, had been trying to tell Keldon,
16:02take your time.
16:03No need to rush with that form.
16:04Right.
16:05And he's been doing that this year.
16:07He starts knocking that shot down, too.
16:08He makes so good for the defense.
16:10There you go.
16:11Harper takes that popper shot that you wanted these guards
16:14to continuously take.
16:16He's got Jay Huff on him there.
16:17And he's just using the speed of quickness.
16:19Stops on the dime.
16:20Faced the separation with his speed.
16:23McConnell fade away.
16:24No good.
16:25Barnes will just bring it up himself.
16:30Cornette.
16:32Kelvin thought about it.
16:34One-on-one with Toppen.
16:36Kind of move him out of the way.
16:38Got his own miss.
16:40Underneath Cornette.
16:42We've got Jay Huff coming over, trying to get the block.
16:45Leaves Lou Cornette underneath.
16:48Nice extra pass there from Keldon.
16:50Six-point advantage in the paint for the Spurs.
16:52McLaughlin the steal.
16:53There he is.
16:53Another impact play on defense.
16:56Right back to Harrison Barnes.
16:58He's fouled.
16:58Count it.
16:59And one.
17:00Jay Mack started that whole thing.
17:02Now, when we talked about the Pacers are not a job, they're not on the defensive end of the floor.
17:07Jordan McLaughlin, every time he's hit the floor, he's done something positive.
17:13Excellent steal and save.
17:15And then drops it right back to Harrison Barnes.
17:16He continues to run the middle floor.
17:18Great focus there from Harrison toward the end one.
17:22He's taking advantage of the Pacers.
17:25Not getting back in the open court.
17:27And, of course, Jordan McLaughlin with a nice steal.
17:30Mitch Johnson talked about Jordan before the game.
17:32Saying that everyone's seen the real impact of someone staying ready.
17:36And the staff keeping him as sharp as possible.
17:39Yeah, yeah, no question.
17:39I mean, he's come into a lot of games.
17:41Pretty much every time he's hit the floor, he's changed the energy.
17:46Spurs re-signed him in the offseason.
17:51And it's been worthwhile.
17:52He's filled in at every single spot.
17:54Ledger defensive block of the night.
17:55Belongs to Luke.
17:56Yeah, Neesmith trying to play that little game.
17:59Moving it from left to right.
18:01Thought the rim would protect his shot there.
18:03Probably had the left side of the glass open.
18:05Just incorrectly.
18:06And Luke Cornett all over that one for your Ledger defensive block of the night.
18:11Cornett seventh in the NBA in contest per game.
18:15Saw that there.
18:16Defensive impact with Victor.
18:19And Cornett as the defender.
18:22That's pretty good.
18:23Two of the top ten in the NBA.
18:25Yeah, and there's a few times this postseason where you're probably going to need them both on the floor at
18:30the same time for a big rebound or a big defensive stand.
18:33And they can both go out there and play off of each other on both ends of the floor.
18:40Victor just heading back to the tunnel to ride the bike, if you're wondering.
18:47Barnes chanted a three-point play.
18:5185% free-throw shooter this season.
19:00Spurs up by ten.
19:02They can match their largest lead here.
19:07And he does.
19:14Here's Walker.
19:17Little zone here, Sean, from the Spurs.
19:20Except for Walker finds the soft spot.
19:23Right on cue.
19:24You always do say you want to get the ball in the middle and then penetrate out.
19:28You got it way too low.
19:30Yeah.
19:30That time in the game.
19:34Blackfoot.
19:35Fox left wide open.
19:38Cornette got his own.
19:40Put it up.
19:41And he got fouled.
19:42So active on the offensive glass.
19:46Not a lot of signs out there right now for Indiana.
19:50And they lost Levita's Zubac, Sean, to a rib fracture for the rest of the season.
19:57Only played five games after being traded from the Clippers to the Pacers.
20:01Of course, Halliburton out the rest of the year.
20:03The right Achilles tear.
20:04Johnny Furphy tore his right Achilles.
20:06So it's just never-ending for Rick Carlisle.
20:10And that happens lots of times, right?
20:14But this team here gets a top four pick.
20:18And you get Zubac back healthy next year.
20:20And, of course, Tyrese Halliburton, you're talking about the most improved team in the league.
20:24Yep.
20:25But it has to be top four, Sean.
20:27If not, it goes to the Clippers.
20:32Five through nine.
20:34Five through nine.
20:35That's what I'm telling you.
20:36But that top four pick.
20:37Forget about it.
20:39Five.
20:41Five.
20:44Five.
20:45Five.
20:49kind of stay with it defensively McConnell that mid-range jumper has been a part of his game for
20:54now a decade he's one of the bastards at the mid-range came over and said hi to you before
20:57the game he did he knows what's up we talked to Arizona Wildcats for a second McLaughlin for
21:03three he just knew that was good as soon as that cross court passes me McConnell sets his feet
21:13can't answer Fox the rebound one that never rushes his shot as well he's got a beautiful shot as well
21:22Fox back-to-back threes for the Spurs a switch to the Hawks keep it on him
21:31Antonio's in five of ten from downtown after hitting 10 of 34 last game against the Suns
21:40Siakam the miss Carter Bryant's checked in gets the rebound
21:45Moss right back CB good experience here for Carter the girl against Pascal Siakam pushes him right out of
21:51the way left it short that was almost right on cue for you try to muscle his way past the
21:59four-time
21:59all-star was very energetic try to go through Siakam well that foul on Cornette by the way I mean
22:09he
22:09just goes right out of chicken chicken wing there just can't put the right touch on it
22:20fun to watch him grow all season long just 20 years old that's got to get a lot more reps
22:26against some of
22:27these top white players out there so this is great experience for him
22:36personal on Cornette Siakam again first look back into that zone again and Siakam finds another just
22:45that little of the floor it's wide open the last two times you've run that zone
22:51Kelvin crossover on Walker the spin Carter Bryant for three
23:01largest lead up 15 nice job rotating into that high spot for an easy one
23:06Micah Potter the former Spur checks in
23:14Kelvin almost loses it on the spin
23:18Cornette gives it right back to him
23:19kind of mix it up with Walker and Cornette sets the screen it's KJ against Potter no match
23:27about Masters of Midridge talk about maybe Masters of the glass who killed in that mix
23:36water
23:39them are with the fake out Walker hits a three there's Walker 36 percent this season from downtown
23:49well Kelvin was able to watch Timmy all those years on black so yes he was he got he got
23:54the schooling on that one
24:00all 10 spurs that have played and scored in this game Cornette
24:05two steps in that's the right decision to make their body for a second he might try to throw that
24:09mob to Carter underneath
24:11but he wasn't quite there so good decision there to go in and finish with your left hand
24:1819 to 9 bench scoring in favor of the Spurs
24:21of course has been top 10 in the NBA in bench scoring all season long
24:25Kelvin Johnson with the foul
24:29Indiana in the bonus
24:32so Siakam
24:34to the free throw line he had a good game
24:35in Indy last time against the Spurs 23 points 10 of 18 from the field nine rebounds five assists
24:41he saw some scrappiness between
24:43that Pacers squad and the Spurs in that game
24:46seems like a long time ago early January
24:50these two teams played each other twice in the preseason as well
24:52January 2nd if I'm not mistaken
24:54yeah I had to leave the first good memory
24:57tip for the celebration yeah you couldn't go full
25:00you have to launch on Ellie's over
25:01yeah
25:03I've really tried to catch
25:07eight glasses of one instead of 10
25:12one glass of champagne that's it
25:14high-scoring first quarter for the Spurs in 17 games
25:22chance to add to it here
25:23it's Fox
25:25close by Nembhard then steps back on him
25:28couldn't hit the three tapped out by Kelvin
25:32and kind of bounce
25:34a beautiful move from De'Aaron
25:38just couldn't hit the shot
25:391.4 seconds remaining in the first quarter
25:41that would have capped off a huge first quarter
25:48Nembhard inbounding
25:51lobbing
25:52blown up by Cornette
25:53Siakam
25:54got a good look
25:56don't think that would have counted
25:59and the Spurs
26:00go up 42-29
26:02after the first frame
26:05not bad
26:06the guy's got the appropriate amount of energy to start off this one
26:09they've got to continue this type of effort in the second
26:12Dylan Harper
26:13with a terrific start
26:14in his first start
26:17stepped back
26:18stopped and popped
26:20Dave Harper with the sharp early
26:21Antonio Spurs basketball
26:22and FanDuel Sports Network
26:23is brought to you by
26:24the Methodist Healthcare System
26:25Methodist Healthcare
26:27proudly offers
26:2710 neighborhood ER's
26:29across San Antonio
26:31only six
26:32home games
26:33remaining
26:34I know
26:34well five after
26:35I guess five
26:36right
26:36you're right
26:37five
26:39like you said
26:39it's sad
26:40you and I will be sitting in the stands
26:43watching the playoffs
26:44they just kick us out
26:45don't they
26:46yes they do
26:47how rude
26:48is it
26:48not fair
26:49how rude of them
26:50I get here
26:51and then no playoffs for us
26:52you experience
26:5424
26:54or I guess
26:55not all 24
26:56but most majority of that
26:58in your career
26:59through good years
26:59I mean you've got to call the second round for a while
27:05Jaden Law is a player or a broadcaster
27:08right
27:08just going into the paint
27:09and gets called for an offensive foul
27:13Walker takes it
27:18it's Carter's first
27:21he's had a lot of energy in this one early
27:23this time he's trying to go through Walker
27:26he's probably trying to go through
27:28Siakam earlier
27:30Pacers 12 assists on 12 big shots
27:33Wominyama
27:34altering that shot
27:36his highest scoring first quarter
27:3842 points in 17 games
27:42Wominyama getting Carter to jump
27:44spins inside
27:45passes out
27:46CB
27:51you can see how fast the Pacers are playing right now
27:55Jackson one of those fast guys
27:56but Victor says no sir
27:58I got really fancy there
28:00the kicker's welcome in a racer
28:03Fox drops it back
28:05Champagny driving again
28:07swinging around for Lindy
28:12Victor's gone for the lobby at the time
28:14there
28:14have a new guy on
28:15and our guys miss him there
28:17but I love the fact they move the ball around the horn
28:19get Lindy Waters for an easy one
28:24foul against San Antonio on Champagny
28:27Spurs are 7-14 from downtown
28:35Nembhard will get free throws
28:37the free throw line for Indiana
28:46first one good now we get a message from H.E.B.
29:04Victor out there with Castle
29:07CB waters in Champagny
29:12Victor just throws down a ridiculous lob
29:15that was silly
29:17I think they just lost contact with Victor
29:19because the ball was so high out on the floor
29:22I think the Pacers thought it was possible to get a lot there
29:27Walker hits it Walker's hit some tough shots
29:29look good early on
29:36the Spurs without
29:37step castle
29:38and debit to sell tonight
29:40woman Yama
29:42well
29:43soon as we're coming out of his hands
29:51Nebhardt
29:52stepping back for three
29:55Jackson offensive rebound
29:56Siakam moves it around
29:59Pacers squad that has lost 15 consecutive games
30:04longest streak in their franchise history
30:06Siakam no
30:07no chance against Wendy
30:09a nice ball pick
30:12looked like he maybe had a little bit of separation
30:14until he didn't
30:18Lepinema behind the bat
30:20throws it up
30:22Carter Bryant off glass
30:23I don't know
30:24that's
30:24that's Abby Normand
30:28that makes no sense
30:30at all
30:36he's got the skills to do every single thing on the floor
30:39I mean that whole sequence
30:40you think you have enough space to get that one off
30:43until you don't
30:44it's smothered
30:45and then he goes behind his back
30:47flips it up to Carter Bryant
30:48because it just doesn't look like a lob
30:51go ahead
30:51go ahead and run the play
30:52and right here
30:54freeze it
30:55here's the back screen
30:56and look at where Taron Fox is
30:58he's just two feet inside
30:59half court
31:00Victor goes all through the basket
31:02there's no bump here
31:03so Victor's unimpeded
31:05but
31:05I think what Pacers are thinking
31:07that there's no way you can throw that lob
31:09from half court
31:11like if you're watching that on tape
31:13you just don't see a lob coming
31:15until it happens
31:16that's your Methodist healthcare assist
31:18unbelievable
31:20awareness there from Daron Fox
31:21and to throw that locker
31:23pretty much half court
31:24put it right on the money
31:25here in five of the 15 Spurs assists
31:2815 of the 19
31:31assists on baskets tonight
31:34Jackson no
31:35who on the foul called in
31:37get it
31:37here comes Lindy
31:41Dillon Harper back in the game
31:42first NBA start
31:43for D Harp
31:46behind the back nasty move
31:48kick out waters
31:50shot clock at 8
31:51Wampanyama against Jay Huff
31:55Victor slow steps his way
31:56just missed it
31:58only time to cut that rebound
32:00try to be able to saucy
32:03do it on this group back in the basket
32:05Nembhard
32:06and that middle of the pain
32:08has been the problem so far
32:09there was no zone that time
32:10but he just got three
32:12Victor got sucked in really deep
32:14trying to help out on that
32:15penetration from talking
32:21Harper
32:22Nembhard a really good defender
32:24Heskey
32:26Harper
32:26shot clock going down
32:29Champagne
32:30about the three
32:31puts it on the deck
32:32kicks out
32:33Harder Bryant has to shoot it
32:34he doesn't know
32:35but he throws down
32:37a big dunk
32:40and Mitch Chang
32:42shoot it
32:42too much dribbling on that
32:43position
32:47you haven't seen a ton of
32:49dribbling from this squad man
32:50the ball's been moving around
32:52it's on that graphic we showed
32:53a moment ago first the NBA
32:55assists over the basically the
32:57last one and a half two months
32:58and by the way you do have
32:59Victor out there so
33:00involve him pretty much
33:02he's going to play wild ones out
33:03there
33:04hey push triple push triple push
33:08triple push triple
33:08push triple
33:32the fans that he has there
33:33he's picking that ball way outside the
33:35chain
33:36flips it up there
33:37and beats everybody
33:38the offensive rebound
33:40pop hit it out on the three
33:41women
33:42Yama the rebound
33:42Huff and Victor
33:44two of the top
33:45shot blockers in the NBA
33:46one be number one top number two
33:51joining each other here
33:54Harper
33:56pulls up
33:57and hits again
33:59Harper's in his own he's got a
34:00point
34:00that's a missed quick hands there
34:02it will pick up the ball
34:04like it may have gotten tipped
34:06there
34:06actually control
34:09McConnell
34:10funky release
34:11no good
34:16woman Yama
34:20hasn't seen three ball go down
34:22yet
34:25one step closer
34:27I don't mind that shot when he's
34:28still in the free
34:31will be topping
34:32too strong
34:35it's a rebound
34:36the third to the Pacers and we
34:38know Topic can do that
34:40Slam dunk champion in 2022
34:42and forcing Mitch Johnson to call
34:44a timeout
34:45we're on the road for three
34:47after this
34:48two game homestand
34:49wraps up and it
34:50starts in Miami
34:51as we take a look at our
34:53engine road games make work
34:54travel less work at
34:55engine.com
34:56Monday
34:57and Miami
34:59Grizzlies on Wednesday
35:01and a couple days in between
35:02that game against the box in
35:04Milwaukee on Saturday
35:06so the heat still fighting for
35:08playoff position
35:09of course Bam out of bio
35:11the big news of the season
35:12that 83 point game
35:14and so
35:15finally he rolls back it
35:16that's going to be a tough game
35:18come Monday night
35:21you want to save your
35:22thoughts on Bam's
35:2383 point night
35:24for that game
35:25or do you want to go on that now
35:26I mean 83 is 83
35:27I mean I
35:30I don't know
35:31I don't know
35:31I'd have to see the whole thing
35:32just saw highlights
35:33and you know
35:34saw other people's opinion of it
35:36just still 83 is 83
35:37yes sir
35:37waters
35:38shot won't count
35:39offensive foul
35:42on Champagne
35:43that's two
35:47late whistle
35:48McConnell
35:50is okay
35:51he's down for a second
35:52Mitch Johnson questioning
35:53and he's upset
35:54at get a minus
35:55but try this
35:57all right
35:59on that right side of your screen
36:11Shepard
36:17Toppin
36:25is a high flyer
36:28takes off quickly and then there's no question about that one I'm not sure that ball is going to go
36:32in
36:32there
36:35Kobe Brown has checked in for the Pacers still at Harper passing out right to Lindy Waters
36:45McConnell
36:47fast
36:49Toppin
36:49three
36:51doesn't hit any of his three corners so far he's 0-4 off the bench
36:59this will mismatch right here
37:02Harper
37:04moving Huff
37:05he's finished
37:06Huff has to save it
37:08and Harper and Shepard collide
37:10with a foul on Dylan Harper
37:11that's two
37:13you've got to create a lot of space when you're going against Huff there
37:16he's a really good shot blocker
37:19like what Dylan Harper did there just couldn't quite find the right touch off the glass
37:23Huff second in the NBA in blocks at 133
37:26of course trailing Victor
37:28when Yamaha Huff earlier in the season when we saw him was leading the NBA blocks
37:32that was because Victor missed some time
37:33exactly
37:35we knew that was
37:36that would be righted when Victor started playing
37:38it was only a matter of time
37:39he's a good first quarter
37:45C. Ockham had a good first quarter
37:48Kobe Brown
37:50in and after three
37:57Keldon
37:59Keldon
38:00down low
38:01muscle
38:01beef
38:02bucket
38:02yeah
38:04that's a Keldon offense
38:05give it to him at half court
38:06you have a mismatch
38:07everybody just get out of the way
38:08space the floor
38:10if he's gonna pass it out
38:12you have a wide open shot
38:14but not necessary that time
38:17McConnell the miss
38:18Cornet the rebound
38:25Cornet
38:25into Keldon
38:26who's got 12 points off the bench
38:29T. Ockham's guarding in that time
38:30is giving up size
38:32and weight
38:34giving up all put those in spades
38:38Rizal been so good in the paint all season long
38:41right now 32 to 22
38:42their advantage in this game
38:44mentioned the lack of size
38:46on the pacer roster
38:48Siakam lost it
38:49shot clock going down
38:51miss
38:51way off to the right
38:56KJ
38:57pass Brown
38:58another bucket for Keldon Johnson
39:02timeout Indiana
39:03largest lead up 20
39:06KJ
39:08can't do anything wrong
39:09right now
39:09he's bringing the beef
39:10right now
39:12he lacked his body
39:14so well
39:17here he is
39:18he just gets physical
39:19again and again
39:19a little back up
39:20a little buff
39:21it shows off a little finesse
39:23we're back in 30 seconds
39:27and I think that's our job
39:28to continue to
39:29hear them
39:30talk to
39:31all the different departments
39:33in our organization
39:34that are at the forefront of
39:36you know
39:38making those decisions
39:39and just
39:39kind of trying to continue
39:41to walk down the season
39:43of course
39:43the Spurs
39:44clinching their
39:46playoff berth
39:46after the win
39:48against the Phoenix Suns
39:50so Mitch
39:52Mitch knows
39:52how to handle down the stretch
39:53here these final 11 games
39:55he's been around Pop long enough
39:57so
39:58he's been a player himself
40:00and so you know
40:01and he understands it
40:02this time of the year
40:04everybody's a little
40:04keep melting
40:05everybody's a little tired
40:06and I like what he said
40:07there's sometimes it's
40:08understanding when to give
40:09guys a little bit of rest
40:10in your mind and your body
40:12if they are
40:12well that rest when
40:13the end season
40:15or rather the
40:16postseason tournament
40:17the play-in
40:18when the Spurs get their rest
40:20that will be clutch for this
40:22squad
40:23you'll have to watch the
40:25playing game
40:27almost a week off
40:28when they're not actually
40:29playing games
40:30and we've got to get on the
40:31practice court
40:32and try to get better there
40:35Kelvin
40:36right down Main Street
40:37I think a great patient
40:39there from LeCoin
40:40actually not to touch the
40:41ball
40:42now to gently fall through
40:45Nemar too strong
40:46pushing the back on
40:47Keldin
40:48and then Hoff battling
40:51Keldin has eight straight
40:53points for the Spurs
40:54right now he's cooking off
40:55the bench
40:56he's got 17 points
40:57in 11 minutes
41:02Longest tenured Spurs
41:03he might be up for a
41:0430 spot tonight
41:11Pacers changing their
41:13inbounder
41:14there's gonna be Walker
41:14now at Siakam
41:18there's gonna be
41:19him hard
41:22this match with Cornette
41:23that's it
41:26he's never
41:28very shifty
41:28little subtle
41:30head fake there
41:31I kept his dribbling
41:33keeping the Cornette off
41:34balance and then
41:35a previous time down
41:36the floor
41:37spinning stop on the
41:39time
41:39a lot of game
41:44Keldin
41:47let that one go
41:50let that one go
41:50Barnes for three
41:52Mr. 100%
41:55grounded in the playoff
41:57game
42:02first continuing to shoot
42:03the three ball well
42:04it's looking better and better
42:09see
42:09Siakam kick out
42:10pop
42:11you can shoot that
42:12yes he can
42:14report this season though
42:1531%
42:16a little bit of a struggle
42:17he's been
42:18in and out of the starting
42:19lineup all season long
42:20it's part of that new wave of
42:22seven footers
42:22I can let it fly
42:26this is falling back into his own
42:27yep
42:28see both teams now use zone
42:29Champagny
42:30can't break it up by hitting the
42:32three loose ball foul against Puff
42:33the space guard Luke Cornette there
42:36didn't turn his back to him
42:38it's caught with a hole
42:41Wambiyama and De'Aaron Fox
42:44coming in for Champagny
42:47and Harper
42:47so French Fenella minutes here
42:50usually when
42:51we see French Fenella
42:52it's in this time
42:53the two minutes before
42:54halftime
42:55you can stretch this lead out
42:56a little bit
42:57give yourself a little bit more
42:59breathing room
43:00heading into the locker room
43:09two-minute mark of the first half
43:12Cornette looking for an option
43:14the elite bars open
43:22Huff up fake three
43:27Jay Huff in his fifth season in the NBA
43:30that's not bad for a seven-footer
43:33it's really versatile
43:34the fact that you give you that
43:35little ball fake sidestep
43:37and then on top of that he blocked
43:39shots
43:41turnover by the Spurs
43:43Siakam has to save it
43:44nice pass
43:46Eastmuth waiting for it
43:47underneath him
43:47oh I thought we maybe could
43:48expand the lead
43:51from the opposite direction
43:5413 point lead Spurs
43:55we're up 21
43:568-0 pacer run

44:11in a travel
44:13so
44:14unless he counts that as a success
44:19Brown doesn't like the call
44:21Pacers feeling themselves here
44:23Nembhard got really physical
44:25got underneath Victor
44:28solid effort there from the
44:30from Nembhard again
44:34off inside
44:36Victor comes over to recover
44:37and sends it right back in his face
44:41number one and number two shot block
44:43in the lead there
44:44oh the French vanilla connection
44:46again
44:46popped out of an ice cream cone
44:51wasn't bad at all
44:52you drop it off to your center
44:54in the middle of the floor
44:55which is
44:55used to be a cardinal sin
44:58and
44:58he doesn't turn it over
45:00it was a perfect lob
45:02Siakam tough shot
45:0412 points
45:09Spurs get the last shot of the first half
45:11half
45:11one second difference between the shot clock
45:13and game clock
45:15every time here
45:16don't have to be in a rush

45:26balls down
45:26has to give it up Barnes
45:28shot clock at one
45:29fading away

45:34to the first half
45:36that you won
45:37to finish that half off in style
45:39you gave Indiana
45:40a little bit of life there

46:28beginning of this third quarter
46:30punch the Pacers right in the mouth
46:31just let them know they have no shot
46:33of winning this one
