00:00A scene of destruction.
00:02Dozens of people were injured in this residential neighborhood in Dimona, southern Israel,
00:07when an Iranian missile struck the area.
00:09Some people didn't make it to public shelters in time.
00:14When I got here, there was total chaos.
00:17A lot of destruction.
00:19Nobody knew how to deal with the situation.
00:21We Hatzalah medics have been on autopilot.
00:24First of all, we rescued people, got them out of their homes.
00:27We've rescued elderly people, children, adults, young people, women and babies.
00:38Dimona is close to the country's nuclear research center,
00:42which is believed to house its undeclared military nuclear program.
00:46People thought they would be safer here.
00:49So you see the sheer destruction here behind me.
00:53This is where a missile hit.
00:54And you can see the apartment block over there.
00:58It completely destroyed.
00:59Also, what used to be a kindergarten here behind us.
01:05Anad Azoulay is going through the debris of the family's apartment.
01:09She and her husband ran to the nearby public shelter.
01:12Many homes here don't have their own safe rooms.
01:15It's not easy for elderly people to make it there on time.
01:19And even there, it doesn't feel safe.
01:23We heard the boom above the shelter.
01:25The whole structure shook.
01:26Shock waves rattled the windows.
01:28Everybody hugged and tried to keep each other safe.
01:32With the U.S.-Israeli war against Iran now in its fourth week,
01:36the Israeli public here continues to show support, even though there's no clear end in sight.
01:44I'm willing to pay the price as long as Israel continues all the way to the end,
01:49as long as there is no mess afterwards.
01:52Because we're in Dinoma, because of the nuclear reactor, we're very high on their list.
01:59Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has visited sites in Dimona and the nearby town of Arat.
02:05He called on Israelis to remain steadfast and follow the guidelines of the Army's Home Front Command,
02:11designed to protect civilians under attack.
02:14He also urged other countries to join the war.
02:19Four things that they're doing in 48 hours.
02:23And I ask the leaders of the world, the leaders of the free world, the leaders of the moderate states,
02:28what more are you waiting for?
02:30President Trump has correctly said that Israel, the United States and Israel in this great partnership,
02:36we're fighting the battle not only for ourselves, but for all of you.
02:41For the residents of Dimona and Arat, these strikes have brought the war close to home
02:46for the first time.
02:48It seems their resolve is not broken yet.
02:52But the longer the conflict continues, the more it will be tested.
02:57No problem, no problem, no problem.
02:57It is at the last point of a number of years and a number of years of being 8 years
02:57in
02:58We need to create a service unit of our second place.
02:59So it is a great company to try and use it, you know, to be a barren.
03:00Let's leave the bay and get the bread and get the bread and get the bread and get the rest.
03:00I got to keep our trucks running.
03:01We need to clean your hands.
03:01We need to protect the comforts.
