00:00Red Sox will now open the year in Cincinnati, Keith.
00:04Garrett Crochet on opening day.
00:06Sonny Gray.
00:07I like it.
00:07Game two.
00:09TBD in game three.
00:11All right, so an unknown third starter.
00:13I'm guessing that's Oviedo, which is weird.
00:16Yep.
00:17Then Houston, they will go Suarez, the number four starter.
00:20Baio in the number five spot.
00:22And Garrett Crochet pitching the rubber game, potentially, there in Houston.
00:27So that's how they're going to roll it out.
00:29So Suarez is four.
00:31Baio is five.
00:33Baio's been like lights out in spring since he went to the World Baseball Classic.
00:37That helped him, yeah.
00:39And then Oviedo might be the number three starter, or as Brian popped in and said,
00:43what, are they already going bullpen game?
00:45The third game of the year?
00:46I hope not.
00:46What the hell is that?
00:47Like, they have, like, the best pitching depth, we're told,
00:51and then you go bullpen game three.
00:52No, I do have 12 starters, so.
00:55Well, right.
00:55I mean, is it possible that's 12 deep?
00:57Is it possible that's totally early?
01:00Nah, I don't think so.
01:01I don't think so either.
01:02I mean, it's going to be Oviedo.
01:03In my rotation, maybe, but I don't think it would be for them.
01:07I think those guys are going to be the Wustocks on Friday.
01:09I want Tully in the rotation.
01:11You want early in the rotation.
01:12If Tully's not in the rotation, I want him in the bullpen.
01:15I don't need him starting games in Worcester, my personal opinion.
01:19But I wouldn't start any of those guys the third game of the year.
01:21So, that probably is more signs to it's Oviedo.
01:24Yeah, I think it probably would be.
01:26But something to keep an eye on, too, is just I think they're going to try to get the most
01:29out of these guys,
01:30meaning not take any chances early.
01:34Suarez has never pitched 30 starts in a season.
01:37I think Baio did it once.
01:39Last year, he missed a couple, right?
01:40Last year, he was a 29 start or 28 games, 29 starts.
01:44I think it's going to be one of the rain games or whatever.
01:46But the year before that, it was 30.
01:47He's at like 166 innings was last year, and that was a career high.
01:52So, if you feel like for any reason you want to kind of push it a day, I have no
01:55problem with that.
01:56And then let's just see if they just keep making the same turn.
01:58And the order doesn't necessarily matter.
02:01I mean, it's not the playoffs, right?
02:03It's not game one, game two starters.
02:04And it might be smart to manage them, like you said, pushing back an extra day.
02:07We thought initially it was going to be two games based on the reporting yesterday.
02:10But, okay, it's one day.
02:12I thought maybe he'd be the number two starter on the team.
02:14We want to split up the righties and lefties.
02:15Okay, now he's not even pitching in the first series.
02:18I think that's weird.
