00:37But to me, it's the dumb mistakes.

00:47it was crazy the way that both teams thought there were two outs
00:50just because the scoreboard said it was.
00:52It was how lazy your brain gets when you're a player just that you just trust what's up there.
00:58That happens more than you think.
00:59I've seen the same – I've seen that happen several times where the players just –
01:03they forget what – you know, the balls and strikes that happens because they just –
01:08I don't know.
01:09There was a confusing play right before that where it kind of felt like a double play.
01:12It was a fielder's choice, and you didn't know when the guy caught it on the line.
01:14So I'm sure, you know, Siegler was a little confused by that.
01:18But he said after the game that Epperson told him there was only one out, so he screwed up.
01:23Didn't Brady forget what down it was one time?
01:25He did, when he – for the Bucs.

01:51And what was so wild was that Nesson caught – it was a really good shot –
01:55of in the middle of the play, you could see the two outs switch to one out.

02:40So a play like that, you don't see infielders holding up how many outs they have.

03:09And I just – it would be one thing if it was just the Red Sox who thought it was,

03:14But the fact that – I mean, it's really – it's what got them the run,
03:17that the Jays – the Blue Jays are walking off the field as well.

03:22It was a cluster off of massive proportions, but I thought Rob Bradford did a great job today

03:29It was like, don't be blinded by that.

03:39What you should see is that this team over the last three games has been playing really bad baseball.

04:31I think this is the worst indictment on Chad Tracy yet, though, because you have apparently the third base coach
04:37telling the runner how many outs there are.
04:39You have all the outfielders saying there's one out on the play.
04:42And then the runner does not listen to his coach, and he runs home.
04:47Well, what happens after this play is Sogarden, Siegler are joking about it in the outfield, in the bottom of
04:53the seventh.
04:54So what I wanted to say here is you guys can like Chad Tracy because he's on your show, but
04:58I have too much self-respect to like somebody that lies to us about the Wilson Contreras and Jaron Durant
05:03thing that has no accountability for his players.
05:06It doesn't believe in freedom of speech and gets fans ejected from my park, and now it's very clear the
05:12inmates are running the asylum with Sogarden and Siegler feeling there is no accountability within the organization so they can
05:19go and laugh about losing a game against a divisional rival in the playoff chase because of a dumb mental
05:25mistake.
05:26Listen, it's a good call.

05:30And you know what?
05:31You can't put it this way.
05:32I do think that the positives that Chad has brought to the team outweighs it.
05:36But there are, and we've been very nitpicky when he has lied about the Jaron Durant thing.
05:40I thought that that was garbage.
05:42I did not like, and God knows you've heard the audio of when I got on his case about kicking
05:48out fans who just were vocal and not saying anything disruptive.
05:51Matter of fact, it's the one time Chad Tracy seemed to be kind of pissed at the show.
05:55But, you know, you're right.
05:56There are some flaws there, and that's something that he's going to have to figure out.
06:00And you know what?
06:01Sloppiness, a sloppy team, a team playing dumb baseball, the first person that you should blame is the manager.
06:07So if they continue to go down this road, you've got to start looking at Chad and just being like,
06:12all right, man, you've got to start taking some sort of ownership of where this guy's heads are at.
06:18I like what Tracy said in the postgame.
06:20He did not, you know, blame the players, which they should have been.
06:25And Justin's right about Siegler was laughing about it.
06:28It was not a great look.
06:29He was pointing at his head saying, like, what a big brain I got.
06:31We fooled him, you know, kind of making a joke of it.
06:33But it didn't come off great.
06:35I can see why that would rub some people the wrong way.
06:37But the bottom line is, this is Tony Siegels.
06:39The heart of your order went 0 for 12 or whatever it was.
06:42If this team needs Adley Rutschman, things are going to get a lot better tonight.
