00:41We have put huge effort into rendering seascapes and oceanic ecosystems with unprecedented detail.
00:47There are shoals of 10,000 fish that dynamically interact with you and each other.
00:52They follow the same procedural rules that real fish follow
00:55and the result is a completely reactive and dynamic simulation of fish behavior.
01:00There are hundreds of unique species to discover in the world of Abzu,
01:04all based on real creatures from around the world.
01:08What's really amazing is that we have been able to put all of those creatures in unique environments
01:13with thousands of swaying kelp leaves, corals, and incredible volumetric undersea lighting.
01:19However, Abzu isn't really a scuba simulator.
01:23Instead, we wanted to evoke the dream of scuba diving.

01:29Her movement is like a fluid ballet under the waves.
