00:11weekend, quote, broadcasters that are running hoaxes and news distortions, also known as the
00:16fake news, have a chance now to correct course before their license renewals come up. The law
00:21is clear. Broadcasters must operate in the public interest and they will lose their licenses if they
00:27do not. The president cheered on Carr in a series of truth social posts, writing in one, quote,
00:32I am so thrilled to see Brendan Carr, the chairman of the Federal Communications Commission,
00:36looking at the licenses of some of these corrupt and highly unpatriotic news organizations.
00:43The president ripped outlets that distribute AI-generated content created by the Iranian
00:47regime. He called it a, quote, disinformation weapon used to make their military look strong
